Conveniently located above the shops at Gulf Place in Santa Rosa Beach, the Gulf Place Town Center 202 (formerly known as the Inn at Gulf Place) is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo with partial gulf views. You will be right in the middle of all the best 30A has to offer because Gulf Place town center is known for hosting live music during their concert series as well as fun, family events all year long. The beach is just across the street and unique stores, artist shops, and dining options are located just below the unit. Guests staying at Gulf Place can also enjoy the community pool, nature areas, shuffle board courts, and corn hole. Right across the hall is a laundry room as well.

Second Floor:

All One Level: Living Room with Balcony Access, Kitchen, Dining, King Bedroom, Shared Hall Bath with Walk-In Shower and Soaking Tub.

*Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the Gulf Place Caribbean and Cabana community pool is typically heated October through April.

*Live TV is not provided. Streaming services are available with personal logins.

Spring Break Getaway

Great location! We have been visiting the area for over 20 years and always enjoy staying in the Gulf Okace area.

Disappointed

The location and cleanliness of the unit was excellent. However, we spent the entire stay with cable TV in both rooms as it lists in the unit description. The technician came by to fix it. He said apparently the owner took out the cable boxes so he couldn’t get it to work. Sadly, it was Final Four weekend so we were unable to watch it. Very dissatisfied with the lack of solution. It was our first time renting with VRBO/Ocean Reef. We go to this area at least five times a year. We usually rent with Vacasa and thought we would try VRBO. We will have to stay with Vacasa in the future.

Excellent location and unit, customer experience needs improvement.

We've stayed in the same area as this unit before, but this was our first stay with this company. Pros and Cons: Pros: -The location can't be beat. You're a block away from the most beautiful beaches with private access. The shops and restaurants on the same block are lovely, especially the local artist shops in the center of the lot in the back, Sunrise Coffee, and Shunk Gulley (arguably one of the best restaurants in the 30A area) is just across the street. If I can help it, I'll never stay in another beach area for vacation. -The unit itself is fairly nice. Bedroom size is nice as is the bath, the living/kitchen area is extremely spacious, and the balcony boasts a wonderful view of the ocean. All appliances seemed pretty new, and having the full refrigerator with an ice maker was really nice. Cons: -The shower had not been cleaned properly, and presumably for quite some time. Not only was there mold growing in the tile grout, but the shower curtain itself had mildew along the entire bottom. I'm sure the milder would come off with proper cleaning, but it also wouldn't have taken much work to simply replace the curtain once it began showing mildew signs. -The tub was also not clean. There was mildew all around each of the jets and they appeared to not have been maintained in some time as well. -The rental company only supplies one roll of toilet paper no matter how long your stay. When I called to ask for another I was told they only supplied a "starter kit" by an extremely rude staff person, and think that's ridiculous. In all my travels I've never heard of ANY location only supplying one roll of toilet paper per room. It seems like such a miniscule way the company could improve their customer service, and I can't imagine they are saving THAT much money given the roll they supply is the cheapest single-ply stuff you can find. Even TWO would've been more reasonable. -The elevator leading up to the unit broke twice during our 6-night stay, which I wouldn't at all since we were on the 2nd floor... but the stairwell reeked of garbage. We had to hold our breaths every time we used it. -The bed is among the hardest I've ever slept on. Way too firm and squeaky. -Finally, the company e-mailed to confirm they updated our door code for the additional night we paid for only to find we'd been locked out after our old checkout time passed. With just a LITTLE more attention to customer experience, this could've easily been a 5-Star stay.

Beware: Serious Health Risk. Killed 3 huge cockroaches in the kitchen/living area.

Killed 3 of the biggest cockroaches I have ever seen in the kitchen. The common are just outside the door was absolutely disgusting. I bought them a new door mat it was so bad. Common stairway and elevator smelled like the inside of a dumpster. White fungus growing in the flooring. It’s a great location, but needs major cleaning and sanitation. I would not rent it again. Beware: Going barefoot in or outside the place is a serious health risk.

Loud, humid, and smelly

The unit was very humid to the point of the sheets on the bed feeling damp when you got into it, and leaving a strange musty odor on all of your clothes. You can tell that the mattress has been sprayed with some kind of deodorizer to mask this musty smell in the bed. As mentioned in other reviews that we missed prior to booking, the unit is in a hallway across from the stairs, a restaurant, and the trash chute for the building. The bedroom wall is exterior, so you get a lot of loud sound throughout the evening. There was also no toilet paper, only one wash cloth, and no pan to cook with. Lastly, the cable did not work properly. A show would play for about 3 minutes and then freeze. All in all, the unit is pretty meh for the price that you pay after taxes and fees. The location is great being right across from the beach and being able to see the water from the balcony, but there are much better options available.

Excellent location

The property was great! Convenient access to the beach without having to walk far! Close to all of the restaurants and shops! The only negative thing I have to say about the rental was that the bedroom is very close to the pizza by the sea restaurant and each morning around 4-5 AM there was boxes being delivered in the hallway and it woke us up each night. Other than that, we had a great time!

This property was infested with roaches and I emailed the management and they try pass it off as something else and would not apologize for the pest and I would not stay there again.

Beautiful but no sleep

The property and location were perfect and beautiful. However, we can’t see us paying to stay here again with how bad the bed was. Neither of us got much sleep bc of how uncomfortable we were. Extremely hard. Other than the bed and no sleep- the view was gorgeous and the balcony was huge! The condo was super clean and super cute. If the bed is replaced with a better mattress, we’ll be back

Great location. Great for two adults. Broken A/C

We checked in after dark and thought the condo was quite warm and assumed the cleaning crew was instructed to leave the thermostat on a high setting. By the next morning it was still 78 degrees inside (when only 73 outside)! The maintenance man was prompt but sound it was a major issue with the coils and would need a part. Since we only were here for a long weekend we just stuck it out. I went in the hallway outside to put on my makeup to go to dinner. I would absolutely stay here again when it’s repaired but expect a partial refund or money towards a future stay for our trouble.

nicely decorated, great location, easy check-in. downsides are no washer/dryer in the unit, the hallway entry was not well-ventilated and stinky, and the tv is small and old

Great complex and location ..BUT

I would stay at this complex again but not in this unit- very loud, next to stinky trash drop. Entrance is located in stairwell- constant doors slamming. Roaches were seen in stairwell every evening. Like I said unit itself was clean and complex was great- I just would not choose this unit because of location within complex.

The property was perfect for our little getaway, very close walk to the beach. Restaurants and shopping just down stairs and around the corner! We loved the area and will be back as soon as we can.

Directly across the hall from the trash chute and the back of a restaurant. Bedroom window had a view of the hallway. Will not be back. Only reason it’s getting 2 stars is because the interior was decent.

Convenient location

This place was very nice and very convenient to the beach, as well as many other places. My only complaint was the bedroom window is adjacent to a lobby area next to a pizza restaurant and it could be very loud at night. Overall, it was great.

Perfect Location

My wife and I just wrapped up a great stay at the Love Nest. The unit was furnished with everything we needed. The best part of the condo was the location. Close to the beach, coffee shops, stores, and lots of restaurants. We would definitely return.
