Comfort, amenities, and stunning views and sunsets, all in a spacious, smoke-free, KID & PET friendly environment. Free Wi-Fi in elegant accommodations, nice soaps and linens, and beach towels and supplies.

It is your responsibility to mind your children and pets to obey the House, Pool, and Garage Rules for everyone`s safety. Please take a minute to read over the RULES so IF there are no misunderstandings if we need to take action to enforce them, especially for safety reasons. Thank you very much and have a fantastic vacation!
HOUSE RULES:
1. Parents are expressly responsible for protecting yourself, your children and dogs from any kind of destructive or dangerous behavior during your stay.
2. If something gets broken, please report it to us immediately. Again, accidents happen, and we have insurance for these unforeseen events.
3. Please DEFLATE and FOLD UP and PUT AWAY air mattresses when finished.
4. Please put furniture and all indoor fixtures like dishes, pots and pans, games, TV remotes, and all other items back where you originally found them when finished.
5. PETS ARE STRICTLY FORBIDDEN ON OUR BEDS! DO NOT REMOVE THE BAMBOO MATTRESS COVERS. We file an insurance claim and may withhold the security deposit if we find pet urine on the bed. A good mattress starts around $3,000!
6. DO NOT REMOVE THE BAMBOO MATTRESS PROTECTORS FROM THE BEDS! WE CHARGE $100 off the security deposit for tampering with mattress protectors.
7. Please pay close attention when cooking and try not to burn the pans as it can be dangerous. We file insurance claims to replace them.
8. Please use aluminum foil on the bottom of oven for baking projects.
9. PLEASE TURN LIGHTS & WATER OFF WHEN FINISHED.
10. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE DOORS AND WINDOWS OPEN WHILE RUNNING AC ON EXTREMELY COLD TEMPERATURES, I am not in the business of cooling the neighborhood. DO NOT turn the temperature below 70 degrees.
11. Please DO NOT take the batteries out of the remote controls.
12. Please clean the BBQ Grills after every use. WE CHARGE AN EXTRA $25 FROM THE DEPOSIT if the grills are left a mess after check-out.
13. Please bring garbage cans to the curb on regular garbage pick-up schedule; Sunday and Wednesday nights. Recycle Blue Bin is Sunday night only.
14. Pick up dog poop and dispose of it in the garbage. WE CHARGE AN EXTRA $50 to pick up your DOG’S POOP!
15. If you park on the lawn be very careful that you don`t run over and break things.
16. Please put outdoor games, sports equipment, outdoor furniture and fixtures back where you found them when you finish using them.
17. PLEASE PARK ON THIS PROPERTY ONLY AND NOT ACROSS THE STREET.
18. Please operate your watercraft with courtesy and care. DO NOT bring and/or operate uninsured land or water vehicles on this property. Use your insured vehicles at your own risk.
19. You are welcome to use our `INFLATABLE` kayaks. However, DO NOT drag them on the ground at any time because the ground will tear the bottoms and destroy them.
20. Please be polite to other boaters. COMMON COURTESY goes a long way.
BOATING & GARAGE RULES:
You are welcome and have my express permission to use items that are manufactured for having fun, like toys, bikes, fishing gear and water sports contraptions. etc....
1. Please DO NOT dig around into boxes or shelves that contain household supplies, tools, and things we use to maintain the property. They DO NOT belong to you and are NOT part of the vacation rental offering.
2. Please DO NOT ASSUME that prior guests may have left some extra items behind. It is in fact NOT OK to take our things that do not belong to you.
3. We do account for what we have here and will charge the deposit for missing items AS THE INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS. Broken items are accidents; but fear not we have insurance in place to handle those situations.
4. Please PUT THINGS THAT YOU USE BACK where they came from; on the shelves and/or in the general location. PLEASE BE POLITE AND RINSE/WASH SAND & DIRT off the coolers, beach equipment, and bikes before you put them away.
5. PLEASE TURN OFF LIGHTS in the garage AND PLEASE TURN OFF LIGHTS when finished in any part of the house.

I am a true adventurer who loves to travel and enjoy life to the fullest! I love all outdoor/indoor recreational and competitive sports, music, great restaurants, and the arts and theatre. What I love most of all is my family, close friends and my 5 doggies!
Originally from California and Hawaii, I am a concert flute player, a (former competitive) body builder and all American swimmer. I have lived in Southwest Florida for over 26 years to be close to and help my mother.
Florida is a nice place to be in the fall, winter and spring - PARADISE and I hope to provide a wonderful experience in my vacation rental homes here in Florida to share with you and your family. I too enjoy experiencing new and exciting vacation destinations!
As a single mom, I lived in Cortez Village for 12 years and graduated from the University of South Florida in 2010 with two bachelors degrees in finance and international business minoring in marketing, music and Spanish while raising my two very bright and beautiful sons, Joseph and Jacob. Joe has two beautiful daughters now and I am so looking forward to more healthy grandchildren some day from Jacob! The more grandchildren the better that I can cherish and spoil and then them send home!
I plan on returning to the University of South Florida Tampa in the very near future to pursue a masters of science for business management and mass communication! I hope to promote, innovate, design, and encourage healthy alternative lifestyles that will heal our great earth and optimize human existence in every way!
In the meantime, I enjoy the hospitality work. It is very rewarding to serve others and provide them with the ultimate vacation experience that will create wonderful life long memories with the people most precious to them.

Cortez, on Sarasota Bay in Manatee County, is one of the last remaining fishing villages on Florida's southwest Gulf coast. Anna Maria Island is just over the Cortez Bridge with so many amazing adventures and places to explore. Take a scenic drive on Gulf of Mexico Drive to Long Boat Key which is just three miles away with many five star restaurants and the famous Mote Marine Aquarium. And of course, Orlando and Tampa are home to some of the greatest amusement parks on earth and they are just a little over an hour away. Wow so much fun all in one!
I recently purchased this property for several reasons. It is on the salt water canal to the ocean in a super central location to so many fabulous and international destinations by land or sea! Just hanging out and relaxing here is a DREAM COME TRUE!
I lived in Cortez for 12 years and it is a very lovable old commercial fishing village with a whole lotta charm. When my vacation rental home is not rented, I definitely enjoy it myself with family and friends.

TAKE A SUPER SCENIC DRIVE down Gulf Dr to Longboat Key which is four miles south from Anna Maria Island. There is a marine wildlife laboratory and refuge with a gorgeous park for picnics, kids, and dogs. Continue south to Lido Key and around St. Armand's Circle, Bird Key, then into downtown Sarasota and continue onto Tamiami Trail to SIESTA KEY!
