This was the best trip ever ! The house was beautiful and the property was amazing! Hot tub was big enough to fit 4 plus people. Everything was kept clean! Definitely will be visiting again

We had an incredible stay at this property! It is a truly beautiful home with so much character, far beyond your typical cabin. The host thought of everything—it was so well-stocked with thoughtful touches, and the beds were wonderfully comfortable for a great night's sleep.The setting is pure magic. Being right by the waterfall was the highlight of our trip, and we loved the peaceful sounds of the water and singing birds throughout the day. Exploring the rolling meadow was such a treat, yet despite the quiet and privacy, getting here was a breeze with an easy drive from the main road. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a restful getaway!

Sanctuary! On my third visit to Whispering Falls, this vacation rental is still perfect. While there is lots to do in the area, we never left the house because the setting is so beautiful and relaxing and private. The highlight is the falls & that wonderful soothing sound of the water in a lush green environment. The house is great— well-stocked kitchen, clean and well- maintained, and very comfy beds. Alisha was extremely helpful and available in facilitating all aspects of the rental process. I will definitely return again.

Bachelorette weekend

Stayed here for a Bachelorette weekend to celebrate my daughter! Location was perfect for shopping, dining and activities. House and grounds were everything we could have asked for. Beautiful waterfall and creek with plenty of sitting and relaxing

We had a wonderful visit in the mountains of North Carolina. The stream and waterfalls were a treat for the kids. We hope to return!

Beautiful property

We loved Whispering Falls. It was a breathtaking property. Easy communication with the host, easy check-in. The house was very clean and welcoming. We would love to visit again!

Fabulous mid-week stay

This is the second time I have stayed here and still find it one of the most tranquil and peaceful places I have ever stayed. The autumn time is fabulous, but I can imagine the spring/summer with the the rhododendron blooming is probably magical too! I hope I have the opportunity again!

Beautiful and peaceful property!

We absolutely loved our stay at this home. The property is beautifully maintained and stocked with everything you need. The grounds are more beautiful and sprawling than imagined with a waterfall, creek, and swimming holes if you choose. The location is perfect, about 15 minutes from downtown 10 minutes from DuPont, and about 20 minutes to Pisgah National Forest. We define hope to return!

Just me

Due to family issues, I was the only one from my group that was able to take advantage of the stay this week. It is a fabulous place - one of the most tranquil places I have ever stayed. I would definitely like to try to stay there again - this time with our group.

Fall Family Getaway

Beautiful place to stay...house and grounds are amazing. Oh and there's a waterfall!!!!! We all had a great time playing the grand piano, listening to great jazz records on the turntable while dining at the beautiful table, sitting on the lovely, covered porches and listening to the waterfall, enjoying warm fires by the waterfall, and watching the white squirrels scamper around underneath the bird feeder. Brevard is just a 15 minute drive down the road and the art galleries and other shops are a real treat. Make sure you visit the potteries on Pottery Road aka highway 276.

Paradise

The property is beyond amazing. So spacious and relaxing, with EVERYTHING you could possibly need. The decks were so relaxing. Morning coffee and evening tea sitting on the upper deck listening to the waterfalls was perfect. We roasted wieners and brats on the fire pit, as well as made S'mores. The hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking to one of the many waterfalls! Lovely restaurants were close by as well. And my daughter saw, and videod, a white squirrel!

Amazing mountain getaway with private creek

This was our second year staying here with our friends and all our kids and it was a great stay! We had one family stay downstairs and the other upstairs. Plenty of room with washer/dryers on both floors. The private creek in the back yard is probably the most amazing part of this house along with the sound of the water flowing. There is an open grassy hill on the other Side of the driveway where the kids would chase fireflies at night. The quaint little town of Brevard is only about 15mins away with lots of small shops and great restaurants. We can't say enough good things about this vacation rental. Cheers!

Beautiful home and enchanting property

The home was incredible, and stocked full. The property is out of this world gorgeous. The only issue we had was with the hot tub not working and when we called to have it fixed the manager had her son check on it but the hot tub still did not work and the issue was not resolved. So we never got to enjoy the hot tub, which for a December booking, is pretty bad. Otherwise this is a 5 star rental. Hopefully they take better care maintaining the hot tub for future guests.

We would’ve been happy to have had it worked on again, if we had only known it quit working again. Perfect

We could not have been more pleased with the house. It felt like an isolated hideaway, quiet and relaxing, but close enough to groceries and restaurants. Somehow my 86 year old mother managed the steep steps to get down to the fire pit by the falls. She called it magical. One of our cars had very low clearance and couldn't make it over the last hump in the gravel driveway but the owner helped us make other arrangements for parking. Thanks for sharing your home.

A piece of mossy, green heaven!

Truly the most beautiful property we have stayed at yet over the years. We have already discussed booking for two more occasions in the future. The pics on the Vrbo site are good, but nothing compares to seeing and listening to this gorgeous NOT SMALL waterfall in person, sitting with family and friends on the mossy banks and lawn while we talked and played games. If you play piano, you will also enjoy filling the home with the sounds of the music. Loved how big the stainless steel covered island was in the kitchen. Every day we found ourselves standing around the island, with plenty of room for the majority of the group, and making sandwiches and filling our plates buffet style at the island. The hot tub got used every day as well, so don’t forget your bathing suits. What a treat, and one night the Perseid's meteor shower was happening so we sat in the adirondacks chairs and in the hot tub and watched the celestial show. Wow! How beautiful! We all agreed this place is so special that we didn’t want to go back home! Thank you for sharing this special place with the rest of us!!!!

This Is The Place!

This property is truly amazing in every way. Let's start with the kitchen. It is stocked better than you would stock your own. There is every type of glassware (wine, water, juice, champagne, mugs, cordials) and in quantity. The dishes were new and in perfect repair and, again, in quantity. Stacks of dinner,salad and bread plates, pasta bowls, dessert plates, platters, tea service - you name it. There was every kind of small appliance you might use and all immaculate. An enormous island in the middle gave us all the room we needed to put our stuff as we unpacked and later served us well for prepping and cooking, not to mention bartending and cleanup. There are two sets of brand new silverware and numerous serving & cooking utensils, including knives of all types. The site. The pictures do NOT do this property justice. The waterfall babbles continuously and the stream actually runs the length of the view. A thick brilliant moss carpets the walkway to the end of it and there is a beautiful landscape job throughout - very organic and natural - with a gnarled twig archway, obviously handmade. Though it was cold during our stay we went out many times because we wanted to walk around the place. The bedrooms and bathrooms - mattresses were very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. Linens were clean and even the smallest bedroom was comfortable with French doors. Bathrooms were stocked with more towels than could be used and our bathroom had an incredible shower with a rain head and side jets as well. Master suite was generous in size and bathroom was, too. Before I use up all of my space I must include this important part. This does NOT feel like a rental house. The furnishings and decor are truly more like being in a higher end property of one's own. The owner even left us a Christmas tree & decorations to put up if we wanted to. So often rentals are filled with castoff furniture and artwork that no one wants in their own house. In other words, cheap. This place has higher quality pieces of furniture and original, interesting artwork to look at. Nice touches such as blankets rolled up and placed all over and even a baby grand piano just make you feel like you are NOT in a rental. Giant mirrors, good TV's, bookcases filled with interesting reads and a downstairs with microwave and mini fridge make me wish I could go back right now. Windows were spotless & the place is completely private. Stay here!
