Welcome to the Red Door! The ultimate luxury gathering place for family and friends in a quintessential Westside location. WALK to restaurants, shops, and all the fun on Galveston Ave! Fabulous open sunny layout features 4 full baths with glass showers, a gorgeous travertine fireplace, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with granite and stainless, and a large dining room table creating the perfect setting for your family vacation. Lovely decor and comfy, upscale furnishings provide plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax! Enjoy the lava fire pit on the patio, cook out on the gas grill, or unwind in the large soaking tub in the master suite after a day of adventure. Your furry dog friends are welcome too!

Each bedroom features luxury European style bedding, high thread count linens, fluffy duvets and its own full private bathroom! The master bedroom features a fabulous barn wood fireplace, perfect for winter nights. There is a sleeper sofa downstairs with linens and blankets provided for your additional guests, and an additional full bath with shower on the main level.

2 car garage provides off street parking and storage for your extra gear. Enjoy books, high speed internet and so much more!

Note: *There is a long term tenant in the studio apartment above the garage with a separate entrance.

thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving with two other families. One of the families stayed with us and the other stayed nearby. The kitchen was great for cooking with a crowd. The large open space LR/DR was well used.

Great property in the heart of Bend

Our family had the best time in this VRBO. It was even bigger than the pictures, and each bedroom had its own bathroom which worked out perfectly for our family. The location can’t be beat, it was walkable to many restaurants and breweries, and a short drive to old bend and the old mill district. We’ll be coming back next year!

Overall Great Experience

Loved the space, ensuite bedrooms and the location was phenomenal. However, the air conditioner seemed to not be working properly midway through our stay (no air coming through the vents though it was on) and it became quite uncomfortable upstairs as we were forced to open the windows and the street noise was terrible). We used the BBQ one time and it was fine. But when the tank ran out of fuel the 2nd time and we replaced it with the substitute tank, we could not get the BBQ to work properly. Location (besides street noise) was awesome as we could easily walk to the river, restaurants, etc.

Family gathering

House was in great shape. Appreciated the fenced backyard and location as we could walk to Ten Barrel Brewery and Drake Park. We loved the house. Minor FYI- one light out in shower room upstairs. Also some of the propane spigots were rusty for the outdoor fire pit would not stay lit so propane gas leaked out causing an odor .

Great spot-Great property!!

Our family stayed over the Memorial Day weekend 2024 for a wedding. The location was really walkable or biking to downtown and the mill as well as multiple food and beer spots. We will be back!

wonderful dog-friendly home

We rented this house for a family getaway with 5 adults and 2 dogs. The fully-fenced backyard was perfect for the dogs, and the adults loved sitting around the firepit in the backyard too! The host was super responsive, friendly and helpful & check-in and out was easy. The house itself was great - clean, spacious and really comfortable (beds, couches, etc.). The fact that each of the bedrooms has its own ensuite bathroom was an additional bonus! Finally, we loved being able to walk to awesome restaurants, coffee shops, breweries and bars! We can't wait to come back!!

Total Comfort for Our Ski Trip

We wanted a stay where each of us had our own bathroom, and where the common areas provided plenty of comfortable seating. Red Door had that and more, including a gas firepit for a lovely evening gathering. Simply wonderful! Will definitely book again. Thank you!

Great house in Bend

Our weekend family gathering was perfect at this lovely home. We loved having plenty of space and it was such a bonus with each bedroom having their own en suite bathroom. Great access to downtown breweries and restaurants.

Great Location

We had a wonderful stay at the Red Door. The location can’t be beat. Being so close to Galveston and Victoria Cafe was great! The house was spacious, well stocked and very comfortable. Having a garage in the snow was a bonus! No complaints! Thank you!

Ideal house and location

This is our favorite house to stay in when we are in Bend! The house is super comfortable (en suite bathrooms for every room) and perfect for a family or large group. The location is amazing - great food, breweries, food carts, cafes within walking distance.

Christmas in Bend

We traveled her with our adult children and spent a wonderful Christmas week in Bend. The house was lovely and in a great location. We would definitely stay here again!

FAMILY FUN

The house was well stocked and had everything for our annual Pre Thanksgiving Dinner. Great Floor Plan for all my adult children and their spouses. We were able to walk to my favorite juice bar and breakfast place. We will be back!

Short and Sweet

We came in for just a couple days to play golf and hit the local eateries with some friends and customers. This location is perfectly located for us to easily get to everywhere we needed to go. The property was clean and cozy, fenced in for our little pups, and easy to check in/out of.

Red Door Gem

We were in town for a lacrosse tournament and could not have chosen a better place to stay. The house is very nice and clean. We all had our own space, and the location is priceless. We enjoyed Bend in between the games and walked everywhere. We will definitely come back!

Above and beyond

We have been coming to Bend since I was young, we know the town well, knew exactly what we wanted/needed in a vacation rental- and this far surpassed even our expectations. Immaculately clean, great layout (bedrooms upstairs away from noise, all have own baths), all the kitchen stuff you need, easy check in/out, great use of outdoor spaces (shade, grass, privacy, sun, chairs), walkability is amazing- 5 min to Good Life, 20 to the amphitheater, 3 min to Mothers, all of it. Next time we are in Bend with a big crew again, we are staying here:)) Thank you!

We are so honored to care for this lovely home for the directors of Assist International, a non-profit organization that designs and implements humanitarian programs in the areas of Global Health, Orphaned & Vulnerable Children, Water, and Poverty Solutions that build capacity, develop opportunities, and save lives in the developing world. These big-hearted home owners are also grand parents and know how to host family! Their son-in-law designed and built the home with family gatherings in mind. They are delighted to share their Bend home with your family too!

The downstairs bath also features a glass shower so guests sleeping on the comfy sleeper sofa also have a private shower. We LOVE the lava rock fire pit on the patio, perfect for enjoying a Central Oregon sky filled with stars!
