perfect for our family, so comfortable and well equipped!
My husband and our three young adult sons met my sister and her three similarly aged kids, both of us driving many hours to meet in between. Wendy and Kevin could not have been more gracious -- the house is fully equipped and VERY comfortable. The kitchen is stocked better than my own kitchen with every tool or gadget or spice etc you might need. Because of our group size, Wendy left out three very nice double air mattresses and some folding tables and chairs. We also enjoyed fresh eggs from their hens and watching their goats play in the backyard enclosure. The hot tub was always toasty and very nice on a cold winter night. There are good walking trails along the canals and river within 2 blocks, and they allowed us to borrow their 2 bikes. (One bike was much slower than the other, so assign that one to the stronger rider.) The location is excellent for seeing the sights in Albuquerque or for a 1 hr trip to the Santa Fe area. We went to the ABQ Atomic museum and Petroglyph Natl Monument, as well as to Santa Fe, Los Alamos, and Bandolier Natl Monument during our week. Around the corner from the house is "The Ultimate Ninja Gym" which is great fun for Parkour, obstacle courses and the like. Also very near is Fiber Arts on 4th which offers weaving classes--wish we had seen them before our last day as I think we would have enjoyed. The property is dog friendly, though we mostly brought my sister's three little dogs with us on outings. LOVED OUR STAY. Thank you!
