HIGH TIDE - 2 Beds / 1.5 Baths - Pet Friendly

High Tide beacons people who love the beach. It is the upstairs unit of a duplex. You can enjoy the breeze on your exclusive ocean view decks of High Tide with sunrise or sunset skies while you sip a beverage and contemplate the good life.

Pets are always welcome at the beach home of animal rescue and pet lovers Rich and Lynda Weaver. Rich is retired from the military and after 28 years and 17 moves they are enjoying Florida life. They and their two cats, Max and Magirk, live in St Augustine.

The duplex beach house is in the very heart of St Augustine Beach, on the beach side of the highway A1A, literally steps to the water. They want their beach house to be your beach house and St Augustine Beach to be your beach. Everything you need to be at home away from home has been considered. A kitchen you can cook in if you want to, luxury linens, beach gear including towels, chairs, umbrella’s and a beach cart, a grill, large screen smart tv, wifi of course, DVD player, hot/cold outdoor shower with foot rinse, good parking and that all important short walk to the sand of St Augustine Beach.
You can easily walk to restaurants, groceries are nearby as well as all the entertainment opportunities that have made St Augustine a famous tourist destination. The pier, with its Wednesday market, is 2 blocks. High Tide can be reserved with Low Tide making a vacation destination for 10.

This is our favorite place to stay. The location is wonderful, the deck isa joy, the kitchen is well equipped, the furniture is comfortable, the shower is fabulous. Morgan, the property manager is a pleasure to work with, always helpful and immediately responsive to any requests or problems. Since our last stay an enormous house went up next door which partially obstructs the view of the ocean, but it can still be seen from the main part of the deck, and it can always be heard:)

There are so many personal touches to this place that I can’t list them all! It was very warm and inviting. The deck was amazing and even blocked the wind on some chilly days. We would definitely return!

Morgan met us on arrival. He helped us unload, showed us where everything was. Told us where Publix was close by.Morgan gets full marks.We found High Tide to be comfortable and had almost everything needed. A kettle was not found, so had to boil water in a saucepan. Not too much of a problem. Similarly, not too much of a problem, the DVD didn’t work. Advised Morgan on checkout. He apologized and said he’d take care of them.As far as location goes, it’s very close to the beach, but unfortunately so are a lot of other properties. I can see during the high season time it would be a very busy, and possibly very noisy neighborhood.

Comfortable and in a great location

High Tide is a lovely, comfortable place, very close to the beach and restaurants, and in easy driving distance to St. Augustine, the Anastasia Island Public Library, and many, many wonderful parks. The property manager, Morgan, is extremely good at his job - friendly and helpful, and he responds quickly to any problems or concerns.

Great location

We really enjoyed staying in this location. The deck was great, and access to beach chairs and other beach gear as well as the kitchen and grill really made us feel at home. Lots of great places to eat within walking distance. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again.
