Welcome to your perfect family getaway in Surfside Beach, SC, known as the "Family Beach"! If you're looking for relaxation and fun, our beautifully renovated beach house is the ideal choice. Located just 200 steps from the beach and only a block and a half from the newly reopened Surfside Beach Pier, you’ll be close to all the action without needing to worry about parking. Walk to nearby restaurants, bars, fishing, tennis courts, and shops, or enjoy parasailing and banana boat rides just a couple of blocks away.

Start your day with a cup of coffee on one of our balconies, both offering stunning ocean views as the sun rises over the water. When you're ready to unwind, take a dip in our newly resurfaced private 12’x19’ in-ground pool, which can be heated for your comfort during spring and fall months (April 1st - May 31st and September 1st - October 31st) for an additional fee ($350 per week), please check the weather before adding on this option. The pool ranges from 3 feet in the shallow end to 5 feet at its deepest.

The renovated full kitchen features sleek stainless steel appliances, perfect for preparing delicious home-cooked meals. Guests can also enjoy fresh herbs from the garden to add a flavorful touch to their dishes.

This home is fully equipped to make your stay comfortable and entertaining. The spacious living room features a 55” HD Smart TV with a Bose Bluetooth soundbar, perfect for streaming your favorite apps. All bedrooms also have Smart TVs with streaming capabilities, and a Blu-ray Smart DVD player is available in the living room. For gamers, there’s a PlayStation IV, and for family fun, the media center includes books, playing cards, and various games. High-speed internet is available throughout the house.

The bedroom and bathroom layout is as follows:
First Floor: Two bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed, sharing one full bathroom.
Second Floor:
Back bedroom with two queen beds and an en-suite full bathroom.
Middle bedroom with two twin beds and an en-suite full bathroom.
Master bedroom suite with a king-sized bed, full bathroom, and a walk-in shower. All bathrooms come with hairdryers for your convenience, and linens are included.

All you need to bring are your beach towels and toothbrushes to make lasting memories with your family.

Great Family Vacation!

This property was perfect, very clean and well arranged. The location was excellent, steps from the beach and pier and restaurants. Because the weather was red hot, sometimes over 100 degrees the private pool was a blessing, we practically lived in it. Our whole family enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to come back one day. Our host, Jennifer, was very easy to work with and responded to all our concerns. We highly recommend this property.

Highly Recommend!

We had an amazing time at Jenny’s place! The home was absolutely beautiful, updated and inviting, with a beach view. The pool was a total plus for our family gathering. Jenny was easy to work with, responded quickly, and allowed us to check in early. If you are looking for a beautiful, large open concept home for your next family gathering close to restaurants and the beach, this is the place for you! 10/10 recommend!

Fun 4th of July staying at Family Tides in Surfside Beach

Family Tides was the ideal vacation home for our extended family! The layout worked great for three generations (grandma, siblings w/ spouses, and our five 20-something kids). Appreciated the very well-stocked kitchen and extra amenities including use of beach chairs, cart and umbrella. The pool and two porches were lovely with tons of seating options. Super quick walk to the beach. Also very close walking distance to the pier and restaurants/bars. We enjoying longer morning walks up to Benjamin's for coffee and bagels. The general town vibe on the 4th was celebratory and family-oriented. Jenny was great to communicate with too!!

Family Vacation

Family Tides was as pictured, beautiful, clean and great location. We had 6 adults and 5 children ranging from 6 years to 11 months and the house and pool were amazing. The host, Jenny, was great to work with. Our family said they wanted to come back again! Thanks for a wonderful time!!

Has all you can ask for

Repeat customer and find this place has it all. The house accommodates all of us with ease and comfort. The location is second to none with all that is offered in the area. Just blocks from the beach, walk to stores and restaurants, as well as a municipal park blocks away with playground, pickleball and tennis courts. The real bonus is the heated inground pool.

The property was amazing!! Very very well equipped and the best pool area we’ve ever had in 20+ years of staying in Myrtle Beach. Jennifer was wonderful through it all, and we also got to check in an hour early!!

Great Place for a vacation

Family of 6 enjoyed the beautiful home less than 200 steps from the beach (yes...my daughter counted). Well decorated and stocked with everything to make for a great week. The private pool was enjoyed by all as was the large deck on the main level for evening gatherings and chit chat. Walking distance to many restaurants and even a late night ice cream cone. And when you had enough of that the beds were very comfy to end the day. I would definately recommend to anyone looking to visit Surfside Beach.

Awesome as always!

We have stayed at this property the past several years! There is no need to look for any other property to spend our family vacation. Jennifer the owner is wonderful! From the initial booking to check in she has stayed in contact and made sure to let us know if needed she is always available during our stay with any questions. The house is maintained very well, clean and in an awesome location. The pool is nice size and great to have after a day at the beach just to lay on a raft and relax! We look forward to this vacation as a family every year and have complete confidence in the place we are staying at. Kitchen is nicely stocked! Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms for the 8 of us. If your looking at this review, don’t hesitate to book the house you won’t be disappointed! Family time

This house was in a fantastic neighborhood very quiet but close to the beach and restaurants. The pool was a great size for kids. We had nine in our party and had plenty of space. Our host was available if we needed anything. This is a great choice for a relaxing vacation.

Fantastic Family Vacation

An absolutely fabulous home! Nicely appointed, well stocked, and clean! Ocean view, lovely pool, quick walk to the beach and restaurants. Jennifer is an amazing host. Great property

Property was fantastic and just as advertised. Check-in and check-out couldn’t have been easier due to just needing the code for the door. Not having to keep up with a key was one less worry as well. Our group was two families of four and we had plenty of room to dine together or spread out when the kids wanted to separate. We cooked in most nights and the kitchen was well stocked with us having to buy nothing other than charcoal for the grill. We brought our own beach chairs and umbrellas but those weren’t needed due to the owner having a storage bin in the garage with plenty of chairs, beach toys, umbrellas, and even a bike that one of the kids took for a ride one evening. The owner was extremely responsive to the one minor issue we did have with the garbage disposal not only responding quickly but having someone out the next day to fix it. Five stars for both the owner and the property. Would definitely stay here again.

This is our 2nd year of renting this home for our family vacation. The house is very nice and well kept! The pool is nice size and well kept as well. The owner Jennifer is always available with any questions that may arise. We look forward to rent this house next year for our family vacation. Prior to last year, we have rented many homes in Surfside but we found this gem and look forward to many years of family vacation at this house.
