It was a great week!
We loved the location of this house, close beach entrance, Surfside Pier, Bubbas and Drippy's Ice Cream. Nice view of the ocean on the back deck. Perfect number of bedrooms for our 3 families, with room to spare. Kids had a great time in the pool. Highly recommend!

The Happy Heron was perfect for our family gathering, with plenty of space for everyone to relax. It is steps from the beach and a short walk to downtown Surfside with the pier to enjoy and many restaurants. The kitchen had everything we needed and the extra fridge was wonderful. The elevator made it so nice to unload our bags and groceries. The only disappointment was the pool which was unable to be heated this time of year apparently and with highs in the 70's, the pool was too cold to enjoy. The owners were great with communication and would definitely recommend staying here.

Enjoyed having you stay and so glad you had a nice time. It is unfortunate in March and April the temperatures are hard to predict. To heat the pool the temps need to stay above 60 all day and night as it needs to run continuously. The people before you were lucky and the temperatures were abpve 60 and allowed them to purchase pool heating and enjoy warm water. During your stay, many nights went down into the mid 30's which was way below 60 so the pool heat pump would not work in those temperatures, and the option to purchase the heated pool was unavailable. Hopefully you can return with warmer weather next time.

Great place to stay
Beautiful, clean home. Conveniently located. Private pool and elevator are great. Our family loves this place! Wonderful owners who are responsive and truly care about their renters. Highly recommend!

The house is beautiful, and so well situated. Golf courses were all close by, the beach is steps away, and we walked to really great resturants every night!Kathy and Steve, our hosts, were in communication with us from booking up to the day of our arrival. Very much appreciate that kind of attention when we are trying to arrange a fun get away for our family

Great Family Vacation
This well stocked house was perfect for our family of 16. The property is in a great location. An easy walk to the beach off a quiet street but also close to the restaurants and shops at Surfside pier. The owners were responsive and did everything to make our stay perfect.

Happy Heron
We have stayed at this property the past couple years while on a golf trip with friends. Very nice place, great location, and property owners are great to deal with.

Annual family vacation
We pick somewhere different every year, but this place had everything we needed for a group of 17! We will be back!

Owners were always very responsive. The house and location were perfect for large groups. I would definitely stay again and recommend.

Great Space
Stayed with a group for a 4 day golf trip. House had fantastic space and amenities. Everything you need in a great location. Highly recommend!

Very clean and great communication with the host, I highly recommend the stay at this house. Close to the beach and restaurants. Would certainly stay here again.

Great large beach house
This property was perfect for our group. Everyone had their own space and the location was perfect. Would love to come back and stay at this house again.

It is a wonderful place. Host was very attentive and responses quickly. There was some confusion on a golf cart but the host made it right. Plenty of room for our group of 13.

We are a family of 5 who love our homes in Surfside Beach SC, “The Family Beach”. Throughout the years we vacationed at many different places along the coast of North and South Carolina. When we stayed at Surfside Beach, we knew this was the place we wanted to purchase a home at. It has so much more to offer than the other coastal areas we visited previously- it is a small family-oriented town only 2 miles long, that is clean, safe, and close to all the activities of the Myrtle Beach Grand Strand, and is golf cart and pedestrian friendly so you can leave the car parked and just enjoy family time.
When we were younger, we stayed at many places, but they always seemed to let us down- issues with cleanliness, location, amenities, etc. We decided if we were ever fortunate enough to own a beach home that we, or people who visited our home, would never experience these issues. We offer everything possible at our homes. We handle all rentals on our own, being most rental companies are concerned with profit above guest satisfaction. We do everything possible to ensure a 5 star stay for our guests who often become friends over the years, and even have a local contact, who is a friend of ours, to help handle any unforeseen issues that one may incur during their stay.
We try to make sure our homes have everything that you would have at your personal home like a well-stocked kitchen and laundry, plus nice amenities while on vacation like private pools, hammocks, linens and house towels, beach toys and chairs, ping pong, and some of the homes also have elevators, and included golf carts. On top of all of that our places are clean, and none of them are very far from the beach, or shopping, restaurants, and attractions.
