Malibu beach shack.
Arrived at residence, housekeeping had not been there. Call the property manager Michelle, she answered the phone and than hung up on me, never returned my call. Finally a little communication via email, She said housekeeping should have come already . 6 pm a nice maintenance man came fixed the garbage disposal. He helped us clean bathroom and trash. We had to completely clean the house ourselves, wash all the linens/blankets so we had something to sleep on .
8pm housekeeping showed up, we were done cleaning by than . I had to keep reaching out to manager she never checked in with us. Most of the time she never answered.
The property is not well maintained, had to climb over a boat engine to get to the beach and eventually move it. The hillside was continuing to crumble down, major safety issue. The exhaust fan or light in kitchen didn’t work, light switches did work, 3 out of 3 space heaters didn’t work, toaster didn’t toaster, bathtub has red bacteria /mold in the jets, bathroom exhaust did not work. The bed room TV not working correctly, the screen seems to have damage. The walls have gashes from furniture, nails sticking out where art work is missing . Can’t forget about the broken window with exposed glass, another huge safety issue. On the patio the sofa was covered in mold, bird poop and a nest behind it . The glass on the table is too big and the corners are sharp and dangerous.
It’s an adorable little place that needs a lot of love.
