I was in the area for a business trip and didn’t want to be in a hotel. This was a nice, clean, comfortable and quiet home. It was stocked with everything I needed and was in a convenient location in Thousand Oaks.

Overall the house was great. Centrally located to everything. The house could use updated carpet and bathrooms. Coffee maker didn’t work very well.

Good location just a few minutes from stores and restaurants in Thousand Oaks. Clean house and yard. Plenty of room for a family of 5. Friendly and helpful property manager.

Well stocked house in a great neighborhood!

This is a nicely stocked house, carpeted with a lovely backyard. We had a couple issues with the laundry and dishwasher which were quickly regulated. It's a location with a nice park in walking distance for adults and children.

Check in was easy, location and neighborhood were nice. Heating and cooling were great, and easily controlled. Overall, the property is in older condition, but generally clean. Owner was responsive when ants were milling about in the bathroom. We had a nice stay while visiting family in the area. It appears that a couple of the headboards were changed since the photos were taken, and two of them were not secure, leading to banging against the wall with any movement in the night. Also, the living room sectional couch in the photos, which was very attractive to our group, was no longer there, replaced with a sofa and loveseat, reducing the available seating.

From louisville to visit family in calif

Was just "wonderful" If i could suggest though to have more comfortable mattresses or cushioned pads on the beds & also suggest having more than 1 TV perhaps. Also wanted you to know the patio overhang in backyard leaks when its raining (not sute if you were aware) Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very out dated piece of property. Ants in the kitchen and bathroom. Towels were torn and sheets worn. Mirrors in the bathroom were dirty and the bath mat was filthy.

This home is an oasis! Lemon, lime, apple and pomegranate trees in the yard - watching hummingbirds and scrub jays play and bunnies at night The home had many ammenities , nice space, comfortable for a family of 5, but we used it mostly to rest before every adventure we had. Thousand Oaks is a great area and even saw a show while we were there.( check HUBSTUB when you visit!) I would have given it 5 stars but due to thinking we may not have a place to stay due to lack of communication from host( literally sheer panic and a call to VRBO asking them what to do) I had to say 4 stars. ( sorry Shirley)!

our experience

We really liked the location of the property and the near by food , shopping (food & otherwise) and ease to and from the freeway. However, the pictures make this property look much more updated then it really is. My group was a party of 5 and there were exactly five bath towels, some of the extra blankets were not clean (we found food particles on one of them which made us wonder how clean the sheets /& bedding was). We were directed to park in the garage or driveway; we had 3 cars so didn't understand why we couldn't park one of them on the street. Overall I would say the house experience rated an aveage.

We stayed there while moving our son into California Lutheran University. It was very convenient to the school. We were coming from across the country so it was a great location to see the area and do some shopping for his dorm. The house was just as described and a great deal for the area. We would stay there again. We enjoyed eating out on the back patio.

House was great for our vacation. Only issue was that had 6 of us staying but only had enough towels for 4, but made a call and was fixed that evening.

The location of the property was great - close to restaurants, markets, shopping and great walkable neighborhood. It was difficult communicating with the host as responses were slow and terse. Older, outdated house that is poorly kept and could use a DEEP clean and upgrades for guest comfort. Ant traps/poison(?) inside kitchen, spiderwebs on ceiling. Not up to par with other VRBOs we've enjoyed in the past.
