Beautiful Katama House between Edgartown and South Beach

Relax and enjoy this beautifully renovated, immaculate Katama home centrally located 1 1/2 miles to South Beach and downtown Edgartown. This immaculate 3 bedroom home (with extra loft sitting area) has been equipped specifically with all the vacation comforts you'll need. It features air conditioning, hardwood floors, carpeting, an open floor plan, vaulted ceilings w/beams, skylights, loft sitting area with additional flat panel TV, and a private yard and deck with patio furniture, a gas grill, and an outdoor shower.

Enjoy the newly renovated kitchen and baths. Wifi access, a flat panel TV to stream your favorite apps with DVD player and stereo in the living room. Air conditioning units throughout the house to keep you cool and comfortable.

Super location in private and quiet Edgartown Estates off of popular Herring Creek Road and the bike path. Centrally located in Katama 1 1/2 miles to South Beach and Edgartown.

Saturday turnover. Transferable car ferry tickets for purchase are available for the weeks of specific dates, please inquire with booking. Availability to add Thursday and/or Friday to July 4th stay.

Linens are included for each bed, as well as bath towels and kitchen towels for 6 guests.

You must bring your own beach towels, bicycles, beach chairs, and beach umbrellas. Please inquire if you are in need of any of the above items and we can give you a referral to rental services to accommodate your needs.

Comfortable house near town and beaches

We enjoyed our stay. We were able to ride our bikes into Edgartown ( 1.5mi) and Edgartown beach (1.2 mi).

Would recommend twin beds in one room rather than 2 full Having access to local TV would help

Thank you for your review. We only have full size beds in 2 of the bedrooms and a queen in the master bedroom as the listing states. With regard to local TV, we provide a subscription to Sling TV which has a few local stations that was mentioned in the Welcome package. Perhaps you did not see it. Otherwise, we work very hard to provide a well-equipped, comfortable, clean home and hope you enjoyed your stay.

Convenient, spacious home private yard/deck

Spacious 3 bed, 2 bath in nice, quiet Katama neighborhood. Responsive owners when we had a few questions. An easy bike ride to South Beach, town and Morning Glory Farm. Air conditioned and well-equipped kitchen.

Close to everything

Loved the proximity to the beach, city, farm (both easily reached by bike if needed) and really to everything else on the island ( by car). Plenty of space for the four of us, many books and games to keep you busy when not out and about, older appliances in the kitchen (water fridge not working) but otherwise well stocked (most essentials, even some spices). Need to get your own paper towels, TP, along with everything for beach (chairs, umbrellas, cooler, beach toys, etc) - a bit inconvenient for those flying in or coming in without a car. Very clean house, but quite a few bugs/insects manage to get in, so be ready for occasional kids call on that spider. We enjoyed our stay in this very nice house/neighborhood, and would sure like to come back!

Thank you for the wonderful feedback! So glad you enjoyed your stay in our home and visiting the island. Glad that you found many features and amenities to your liking. We take pride in providing a well-stocked and clean home for every stay. I apologize if anything was an inconvenience to you at all. We are upgrading all the appliances this season and were not able to get delivery of all of the appliances before the season started but it will be completed later this summer. I also completely understand your concerns about flying in and not being able to bring beach gear and other supplies in a car. The downside as an owner is that things can break between guests making it impossible for us to guarantee that you would have gear and supplies in working order from week to week. This is why we choose not keep gear and supplies at the house to be shared between guests. However, your point is well taken when you are coming by plane, and therefore, I will take your excellent feedback and provide links to rental resources for beach gear, linens, bicycles, baby gear, grocery delivery, and any other needed items. This way, guests coming from farther away like you can have access to anything they need for their trip. Again, thank you for staying in our home and I would love to have you come back. Next time I will help connect you with the things you will need to make a perfect vacation.

Great Vacation

We've been many times to the Vineyard and this location was one of the best for convenience to the beach and access to Edgartown. We had a wonderful time and Melinda was very, very helpful with all our questions and provided great guidance. Thank you.

Cozy, inviting, clean, well decorated, close to beach and town

A really lovely home. Outdoor shower great! Clean, well located, we love Martha’s Vineyard and have been coming here for years. It’s magical. This house for the bill for us to enjoy everything .

Clean, comfortable, well stocked and close to many things.

Our family enjoyed this quiet location. It was only minutes out of Edgartown and so close to South Beach which had plenty of parking and was even a bike ride away. The house was comfy and had whatever we needed as far as cooking and being able to make it our home for a week. My husband enjoyed many hours reading on the quiet back deck. I will remember next time to be sure I have a ferry tix in hand before renting though, as getting to the island in a timely manner can be a challenge. Homeowner was very responsive to all of my questions too.

Great location. Loved the deck and outside shower!

Six adults were very comfortable in this Katama home. Great neighborhood and great location. Walking distance to town. Bike trails were wonderful. Fully equipped house and great deck!
