This meandering Cape has stained-glass windows, hardwood floors and all the fun and funky details you'd expect from an original Vineyard cottage - but with modern amenities and conveniences. Open living/dining great room with vintage and contemporary furnishings, relaxing sun porch and huge game room with pool table. Wrap-around front porch with hot tub, spiral staircase to an expansive third deck, and back yard with outdoor shower.

Conveniently located in the Katama area of Edgartown. Walk to Edgartown Great Pond, bike or drive (about 2 miles) to Edgartown village and South Beach. Close to bike paths, shopping/restaurants.

This was our second stay at this home. I love the location. The layout of the home provides plenty of space to get together as a group or to sneak away for some quiet time to read and relax.

The cottage was a wonderful place to stay for our family of 4. Lots of spaces to congregate and hang out, but also plenty of space to get some alone time to curl up with a book or catch up on emails. The second floor patio was the perfect spot to watch the perseid meteor shower and the hot tub provided much needed relaxation at the end of a long day at the beach. My sons played endless rounds of pool, and we never turned on the television. It was an amazing spot to have an incredible vacation.

Great location with tons of outdoor deck space and room(s) to hang indoors. Super-clean, cozy but uncluttered. Pool table and tub make for fun nights in if you’re not planning to be out every night. We could hear the surf on the South Beach most nights, and both town and beaches were easy bike rides from the house. One mistake we made was not realizing that linens aren't included — they're easy to order online so it was fine, but we had to scramble at the last minute. Don’t forget to do this in advance! Would definitely stay here again.

This was by far the best house we've stayed in on the Vineyard. The location is private, but within a short distance to South Beach, Edgartown, and Jaws Beach, as well as Stop and Shop and numerous restaurants.The layout is such as to provide ample private space inside and out. The second floor patio was great for morning coffee and evening cocktails. The game room and hot tub are a real bonus and hard to find at this price point.Overall the house has a nice flow, and was clean with a well appointed kitchen.Liz was pleasant and quick to respond. We look forward to returning!

Absolute perfect family home

Hosts were super responsive to any needs and lovely to work with. House is in perfect location -beach access and town a short ride away. Very comfortable with every thing you need for a great get away.

Great property, great location. Near South Beach and able to get into Edgartown easily. Very roomy and nice amenities, we enjoyed the pool table in the evening. The kitchen was not as well appointed as we were expecting but that did not diminish the quality of our time there. Owners communicated very well prior to arrival and we did not have any major issues during our stay that required us to reach out to them.

Perfect Location

Another wonderful stay at this beautiful home. It’s the perfect spot between Edgartown and South Beach. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces for morning coffee and nights when we grilled in. The six of us enjoyed the game room with the pool table, jigsaw puzzles, and board games. We can’t wait to come back to our happy place!

Lovely Katama home

Lovely home with lots of outdoor space - yard and decks. Location is convenient with quick bike ride to south beach and town. Liz is quick to respond and made everything very easy!

Very attractive house close to South Beach. Hot tub and pool table are nice features you don't find in many other houses. Had a great experience.

Lovely home in Katama

Beautiful house located near Edgartown and South Beach. It was great for our family of three couples and a baby. We just wished that there was a table on the lovely deck that accommodated more than four people for a meal. However, the table inside accommodated our needs.

Great charm, space and location!

Sea Glass Cottage was a great rental. The house is very unique with lots of charm. There is plenty of space to spread out both in the house and on one of the numerous patio and deck areas -- making it a perfect choice for extended families or small groups who don't always want to be in each other's hair. The hot tub was great at the end of the day. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We hope to visit again!!

Amazing home, perfect for a long stay

It was our first time renting the 'Sea Glass Cottage', and the whole experience with the owners was fantastic. The pictures on the website are really nice, and the house has even more charm in person. The owners love of the island and this home really shows. The location in Katama was perfect as well, a very quiet neighborhood. It's a gem.

Great for all ages!

Delightful island experience without the crowds. The house seemed bigger than advertised and very clean. Jacuzzi and pool table were a highlight. Accommodations were comfortable and there were plenty of reading materials (I enjoyed reading JAWS!). Only down side was there was nowhere to put the trash at the end of our stay (trash was full when we arrived on Thursday).

Gorgeous home! Comfortable and beautifully decorated!

We stayed at Sea Glass Cottage two weekends ago with 7 adults (3 couples plus one). We were all amazed when we arrived to find such a beautiful, spacious home with such charm and appeal. The pictures do not adequately portray how gorgeous this property is, both inside and out. The layout was perfect for 7 adults - plenty of decks, indoor space and privacy. The grounds were beautiful and the outdoor spaces so appealing! The house was immaculate and the layout was unique. We most certainly will return to stay here again!!

The Sea Glass Cottage - A Very Special Find

This was our 3rd year in this amazing house. We have been coming to the Vineyard for 30 years; and therefore, have seen our share of Vineyard rentals along the way. Of all the rentals, this house is by far the best and meets 100% of my very picky criteria. First the basics - the location is great for getting wherever you want to go - a few minutes to Morning Glory (yum), South Beach & Norton Point, and Edgartown. A lovely manicured lawn - perfect for croquet. The house itself is well maintained, perfectly decorated so that you feel at home, but not as though you are invading someone personal space. Everything you need in the kitchen is there. The outdoor shower is the best - we never use anything but. But wait there's more! Its the extras that make this house so fantastic. Hot tub (clean and always ready to use), cottage/rustic screened in porch (great for reading in the late afternoon), what we call the billiard room - a fun place to have drinks and play a game of pool and last (but not least) wonderful decks (including rooftop) for relaxing and enjoying afternoon libations or early morning coffee. So hope this helps others to know this is a special find. And we look forward to next summer and many more to come.

We really enjoyed our visit to Martha's Vineyard at your house! Its proximity to Edgartown and South Beach was exactly what we were looking for. The house was spacious with plenty of comfortable areas to relax in. I loved the screened-in porch and just sitting on the deck enjoying dinner outside. The yard was private and a beautiful place to enjoy nature. The house was really lovely, the decor perfectly suited the cottage style, and it was well-stocked with everything we needed to cook. The hot tub was exceptionally clean and such a treat.The host was very communicative and made check-in seamless. Overall a great experience!
