Peaceful Matanzas Riverfront Retreat in the Hammock on 1.3 acres with a dock

Come escape to the Hammock and relax on the dock watching boats sail on the ICW. Secluded 1.375 acres of oak trees coupled with sunsets on the water overlooking a bird sanctuary is the perfect place to spend time. Two bedroom/2 bath home with a large screened in porch. 1000 square foot dock, perfect for fishing or launching kayaks (included). Abundant wildlife including fish, deer, dolphin and manatee. Hop on the Malacompra bike/walking trails which are right across the street.
Enjoy the fire pit area and outside shower after a long day of activities in the sun. 1/2 mile to boat ramp and grocery store. 3/4 mile to the beach.

(NOTE: PERSONAL BOATS MAY NOT BE TIED UP TO DOCK DUE TO POTENTIAL DAMAGE FROM PASSING YACHTS.)

Another excellent stay!

This is the 4th time we’ve stayed at this property and, as always, we’re completely satisfied with every aspect. The property is always clean and very well maintained. The property owner is phenomenal to work with and always responds in a timely manner. We had an issue this time (no fault of the owner or property) and he worked incredibly quickly to help get it resolved for us. We’ll definitely be back again! Big thanks for a great experience!

Great Rental

Great location! Away from town but close to beaches, restaurants and Publix. The porch out back was a great place to grill and enjoy lunch. Beautiful sunsets from the dock. Saw dolphins and manatee. Wonderful place to just relax and unwind.

Fun!

Property was wonderful-very private. Nearby neighbors were very nice. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and watching the sunsets. Home is very well stocked & had everything we needed! Location was great-several delicious restaurants within a minute or two drive. Beach parking & access directly across the street. We had a couple of small issues which were addressed promptly. Enjoyed our stay very much!

Intercoastal Gem

When we weren't out enjoying the beach or the area, we were on that amazing intercoastal dock. Fishing and taking in all of the beautiful scenery. It was fun to see so much wild life too.

Michael’s place was great. We liked the location, amenities, and the quiet setting. It’s only a minute walk to the intercoastal waterway and about a 5-minute drive to the Atlantic Ocean. It was nice to have two bathrooms, plus an outdoor shower. It was well stocked with most anything that could be needed (including beach towels), but also a very short drive to an excellent restaurant (JT’s!) and a grocery store. Michael communicated well and we had an easy check in. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay and we highly recommend.

This is the second time staying at this property. As always, the property was immaculate. It’s a beautiful place to stay and and an excellent owner to deal with. Communication was timely, he always ensures we’re pleased, and responds quickly to the few questions we had. Highly recommended from all aspects. Relaxing little paradise

This rental was perfect for us. It’s on a semi private lot shielded from the road with direct access to the intercostal waterway. Use of the dock space and kayaks was perfect to fish, watch for dolphins(we saw several!), watch the boats go by or just relax with a book. The house was very comfortable, nicely stocked and just the right size for us. We had access to hiking trails, the beach, great restaurants, fish market & Publix all within a mile. So glad we found this place

Quiet hammock getaway

This property is exactly as advertised. I used the walkway across the street a couple times a day (around the mountain bike trail). I didn’t bring a bike this time, but the bike path along A1A is right there too. Easy drive to the store and restaurants. Nice quiet getaway in the hammock.

A nice relaxing retreat

We had a great stay here. Very accommodating. Every comfort and amenity needed is onsite. Nice quiet neighborhood and central location to palm coast and St. Augustine. Highly recommend.

Absolute paradise!!

What a wonderful experience at this private, tucked away slice of paradise! Perfect house, beautiful location, extremely clean…felt like we were staying with friends! Mike is awesome, helpful & so accommodating. Neighbors are friendly, but not intrusive. From days of dock fishing to nights by the bonfire, my family was blessed beyond measure to spend our New Year’s week here! We will definitely be back.
