Located about 5 miles from downtown Helen------Tucked away in the North Georgia Mountains, You will find "Sautee Woods" Cabin is all you will need to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday routine.This luxury cabin has hardwood exterior and tongue and groove pine interior---special windows bring the outside, inside. A massive stacked stone fireplace reaches to the sky! --fully equipped kitchen with electric range, refrigerator with ice and water in the door, microwave, dishwasher, and washer and dryer! Wonder weekend

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Check in process was smooth as we have ever experienced. The cabin is beautiful with a great layout and the hot tub was a plus. Wonderful place to stay with plenty of privacy.

Relaxing family time

We had a fantastic time. The cabin was perfect. Our kids loved the large bedroom upstairs with their own bathroom. I enjoyed wine by the fireplace every evening and the hot tub was relaxing after a day of hiking and exploring Helen. We saw a few deer each morning. Steve sent us a list of must dos ahead of the stay and we did many of his suggestions! We would definitely visit again! The kids already want to go back!

Christmas in Cabin

We had a wonderful Christmas. The cabin was warm and clean, with really good kitchen and bathroom facilities as well as comfortable communal areas.

Perfect Anniversary Getaway

This beautiful cabin was the perfect location for our recent anniversary getaway. It's perfectly private, but close enough to neighboring towns. The hot tub was great for relaxing after a day of exploring beautiful Helen. Steve was the perfect host and was quick to answer any questions I had.

Excellent Cabin in great location

We enjoyed the location being out of town but accessible to everything there is to do in the area. Cabin was exactly as advertised. It was stocked with all the needs you would. Appreciated how clean the property was upon arrival. The host was available quickly when we had a question and had passed on many ideas of adventures to experience. We do not usually stay at any property for our yearly trip, but this is a cabin we would consider. We would not hesitate to recommend giving this property a spin.

Perfect for a Get-away!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay at Sautee Woods! The cabin is nestled in a large wooded lot and feels private even with other cabins on the road. Inside, the cozy decor made us feel right at home. Beds were comfortable, and kudos for the cleanliness throughout! The kitchen was well-stocked with all the utensils, pans and small appliances we needed to cook a couple meals each day. Steve, the host, was very responsive to questions prior to our stay, and even messaged a long list of recommended restaurants and activities in the area. Very helpful! We hiked to beautiful Anna Ruby falls, Desoto Falls, visited nearby Helen, drove over to Dahlonega, and shopped in Cleveland. Enjoyed some great restaurants too on our daytrips. Don't hesitate to book Sautee Woods! It did not disappoint.

Outstanding Experience

Cabin was perfect and Steve was easy to communicate with. Tucked in the woods, yet so close to Helen, Anna Ruby Falls, Yonah Mountain and other activities. The cabin was so enjoyable, clean and accomodating. Couldn't have asked for more.

Our Little Cabin in the Woods

We had a lovely time. This is the cleanest place we have Ever stayed in! We especially liked that this is in a residential area and not a resort. It was quiet and peaceful. We spent a lot of time in the cabin playing Monopoly, putting together jigsaw puzzles, and just being together. It was a great time for us all. The 18-month-old had a great time exploring, we blocked off the stairs and felt perfectly comfortable letting her roam. (I hope we found all the carrots and celery she stashed around) Thank you, Steve, for sharing Shauntee Woods with us

Charming Cabin Sautee Getaway

It was a charming cabin for our Sautee getaway, two couples catching up on recent trips and family happenings. Nearby we explored Minnehaha Falls, the Sautee covered bridge, the old Sautee store. We loved it! Thanks!!

Beautiful place

We had an amazing experience! The only down side was not being aware that we need to bring body wash products and cleaning products, for example to wash dishes. There were not enough towels for 6 people.

Great cabin near Helen

This is a gorgeous cabin that is immaculate within 10 minutes of Helen. It came furnished with all soap (laundry, bath, dish, and bathroom). The beds were very soft and comfortable. It had multiple ceiling fans and a hot tub. The property borders secluded woods where deer run throughout the visit. The smart TV has all updated features. The ice maker is very efficient. The wrap around porch is lovely. I did laundry daily. The host is extremely efficient and communicates often. We would stay here again with our family. This was a great value for the price.

Lovely stay

This cabin was exactly what I expected. It was clean and everything worked. It had privacy in a quiet setting. The knob on the dryer was broken but it was still operational. The only downside is the hot tub needed a few hours to heat up before we could use it. I would definitely stay here again!

Great visit!

This was our first-time visiting Helen. The owner was very responsive to all my questions. He provided suggestions of things to do in the area which was very helpful. Not a far drive at all from the property to Helen. We really enjoyed our stay!

Albany has been our home for over 40 years.Jeff and I were born and raised in Columbus Ga. We moved to Albany in the early 70's---

We have always enjoyed making trips to North Ga. when we were young. Our Father use to rent a pop-up camper every summer and take us to the mountains! Those really are fond memories. Anne and I have always dreamed of one day having a place of our own in this beautiful area of the state---Once I talked my brother and sister in-law to going in with us on this venture---we purchased "OAK RIDGE" located across the street. When this property "Sautee Woods" became available---well it just seemed the perfect fit for our families. they are within walking distance to each other. Over the years we have continued the memories of going to the mountains---and now with both cabins--there is plenty of room for our children and grand children.

The first time we entered "SAUTEE WOODS", it reminded us of our beloved cabin "OAKRIDGE" across the street. We loved the massive stacked stone fire place and tongue and groove walls and ceiling. There is a quaint balcony off the up stairs bedroom, perfect for morning coffee. Another feature we enjoy is the wrap-a-around deck---where you can enjoy a game of cornhole or just enjoy the beauty of the thick forest---It's just Beautiful! and the cabin is comfy and cozy!
