Bright and sunny south facing condo in building closest to the beach! Perfect get-away for a family of up to 6. This 3rd floor condo features a full bed, 2 bunk beds, pull-out couch, full kitchen and private balcony. Just steps to private pool, beach, tiki bar and shaved ice stand. A short walk to restaurants, playground and tennis courts. During the summer there are weekly activities including Pool Dance Party, movie nights, wildlife talks and arts and crafts for the kids.

Great location

Always a pleasure staying in Jeremy’s unit. He was quick to resolve a problem we had with the door lock. New lock installed on Christmas Eve. We really appreciate everything he did.

Thanksgiving Weekend

This was a great place to stay in the off-season for an extremely reasonable rate. The unit could use a few updates, but with the excellent price point, I was more than okay without the updates. Very clean and excellent communication with owner!

Nice small place by the beach.

Arrived late and serached again for check in directions. Found that the host said they would send an email that needed to be printed off to show security. We never received the email. We did get the code to unlock the door but no email for security or showing which condo number we were staying in. The host did however leave a pass for us at security and it had the condo number on it and we were able to get in with only a slight explanation and a small delay at security. The condo was clean except for. The fan in the bed room had so much dust on the edge of the blades it did not move any air and we had to clean it all up to get it to work.

Return visit

Spent another 2 weeks at this condo. Had a great stay. Absolutely love the view from the balcony. Unit had everything we needed. Jeremy was so kind and was able to extend our stay. Will be back again.

R & R / Family Business

Overall, the Villa was nice, the 1st day the villa was quiet, and the owner / host provided everything needed to get off to a good start. Also, the necessity items- bedding, eating utensils and fire extinguishers were available. The communication was good when problems would arise. It is an older property, so things that go along with that are understood like mold and dust. There was an excess of Black Mold on the vents, especially in the Living room. Also, Mold was growing on the ceiling. However, my peace was disturbed by the daily, very loud fire alarm. The fire alarm went off 5 times during my stay. 2 times in the evening and 3 times early in the morning. Although, there was a hint of smoke, the firemen continued to come out and report it was a faulty alarm system. Because of the recent scare of an old Condo collapsing in FL, I checked out earlier than plan. Although, the villa / condos are old, safety items (alarm systems, mold, mildew) have to be checked and a thorough deep cleaning (Spring & Fall) must be done in addition to cleaning the floors, the couch, the couch pillows and vacuuming carpet, especially on the outer deck or the $120.00 cleaning charge should be refunded.

Great little spot

If u are looking for a budget friendly spot to relax close to the beach, this is it. If u are looking for a boujie 5 star resort experience this isn't it just know what u are looking for. That being said this place was more economical than most of the hotels and the hotels all had aweful reviews. This condo is a quick walk to the beach, easy drive to everywhere, hot showers with good pressure, comfy main bed and free wifi,. The bunk beds are kinda small so maybe not great if u have teens coming with u but i would book here again in a heart beat. Owner has excellent.communication. i have no complaints!

Relaxing holiday getaway

My wife and I spent a week here over the holidays to relax and play some golf. This was our second time staying at the Beach and Tennis Resort, but our first time in this particular condo. Pros: Resort is very nice, lots of amenities with the beach, pickleball/tennis, biking, and restaurant. Close to golf, restaurants, bike trails, and other attractions outside the resort. Owner was helpful and very responsive. Check-in and access to condo was simple and easy. Plenty of bath towels were provided. Cons: Unit was simply not clean. Bugs crawling on the floor and in cabinets. Floors were dirty and clearly hadn't been swept or mopped between stays. Balcony was dirty and seemed to be tilting uncomfortably away from the building. Pillows on the couch smelled awful of body odor. Headboard on bed was broken. Several towel bars/hangers in the bathroom were broken. Microwave was disgustingly dirty. Toaster burnt everything and set off smoke alarm every time. Kitchen utensils and cookware was very limited, some needed to be cleaned before use. Extra paper towel, toilet paper, hand soap, garbage bags were not provided. Beach items and cleaning supplies (vacuum and broom) were just thrown in a closet, dirty, and not effective to use. Unit looked nothing like pictures on listing, so if you are booking based on eye appeal, do not book here. Not really sure why we were charged a cleaning fee when it was pretty clear this unit gets very little cleaning attention.

Repeat Guests - already looking forward to next time!

My husband and I returned to this property in December 2022 after also staying here during a similar timeframe the previous year. We were delighted with how clean the villa was and appreciated the extra towels provided as well as updates such as a new patio door, coffee table, and refrigerator. The only bummer was that the stove/oven did not seem work. We love the third floor location and the resort overall. I rented a bike from the resort for the duration of our stay and throughly enjoyed daily bike rides as well as walks/runs on the beach. We can’t wait to return again next year!

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. We had a few unavoidable events to occur but the property manager was corrected them asap. We definitely rent this unit again.

Pleasant Fall Break

Very close to the beach which we loved. Even closer to the pool (which is very big). Having stayed at other resorts in HH, we know all too well how a long walk to the beach or pool can make or break the entire trip for us because of our children. We have an 8 year old, 7 year old, and a 1 year old. Long walks are brutal with the little one. Location (as far as HHI goes) was great. I personally like the north end better than the south end (Sea Pines). Nothing too far away and we were closer to some of our favorites like Skull Creek and Harold’s. Condo was adequate for a family like ours. Any more people and we would have to go with a larger one. Really enjoyed our stay! Will be back!

Wow , it exceeded my expectations. The resort is an amazing place to go with kids . We enjoyed .

The resort have a lot of kids activities lined up everyday which made my kids have memorable moments.There are restaurants within the property that made it easier for us . Will definitely be back

Wonderful Beach Condo!

This little condo was great! Super close to the pool and beach, clean, stocked with everything we needed (for the condo) - just perfect for my husband and I. And, the bed was quite comfortable too (and there were tons of extra linens and bath towels provided! :) We have stayed at this resort three times previously and this is by far our favorite condo so far. Perfect for a couple (or small family). The host was fantastic with communication as well - We will look for this condo to book going forward for sure!

Clean unit and great location!

Great location, a very clean unit. We had everything we needed. It was very nice to have a oscillating fan in the closet, since the bedroom got a little stuffy for me. Pool was too cold for us, but I did enjoy laying in the lounge chairs. I look forward to returning to this unit in the near future. I would recommend staying here!

Imagine staying in a cheap motel BUT located on a nice resort!

First time staying in HHI Beach and Tennis Resort and first time staying in Folly Beach area. I have always stayed between Coligny and toward Sea Pines. I really enjoyed Folly Field! I also like the Beach and Tennis Resort. It would be great fun for families with kids for sure. The security at the resort was there but not overbearing. The grounds crew were working diligently planting flowers for the spring. The pool looked awesome but it was a little cool in the air for swimming for me. The sports bar, Coconutz, is located just outside of the security check in and non-resort visitors can go there. The beach is WIDE and flat. Now the condo is exactly as explained in VRBO (if you also read the reviews). I wanted a bed, shower, fridge and working TV/Internet and the Sand Dollar gave me that. I sleep there and then I'm out and about the rest of the time. If you want to cook dinners in the room, this might be a challenge here. I wanted a low-priced condo and Sand Dollar was that. As for any issues in the room, I privately told the Owner/Manager. With that in mind, I'll make some general comments: the room was clean, everything worked (stove cookware is poor though), very safe and convenient electronic door lock, soft comfortable bed and nice balcony with ocean view.

Nice view from the balcony

The check in was smooth, very helpful and friendly at front desk. The apartment was clean and has everything that you need for your stay. We enjoyed the view from the balcony. Short distance to the beach and to the pool.

Great Springbreak Getaway

We really enjoyed staying at this unit . It was clean , very comfortable , had a nice view of ocean from one end of balcony . It is very close to the pool and has beach access. The grounds are beautiful here and it is gated and feels very safe which is why we keep coming back ! Great location close to everything . Owner responded to one question I had immediately. Wine and chocolate was a nice touch too !! We were pleased and would for sure stay in this unit again .

Folly Field Winter Stay

The condo met our expectations, and we found the accommodations to be as listed. Prompt response from owner or manager to repair the heating system. Shower curtain showed light signs of previous mildew stains. Overall a great stay and location! We will return.

My wife and I visited Hilton Head Island with our daughter in the summer of 2018. We fell in love, our daughter made a part-time friend who also has a condo onsite and we decided to buy our condo. When my father passed and left me some money we decided to use that to purchase our condo.

I have worked in Customer service for over 20 years and my wife is an Assistant Principal at a local elementary school. We love to travel, especially to the beach where we can relax in the sun and listen to the waves. Our daughter is content just hanging out at the pool.

We are expecting our second child in August and are excited to bring him to the beach. We have put our condo on VRBO in order to provide an affordable place for people to vacation. Our focus is on ensuring that our guests have a world class stay.

We hope that you will choose to stay with us and that we can make it everything you wished for your vacation.

We picked this location due to its laid back atmosphere and the fact that it is less crowded than other resorts closer to Coligny and Sea Pines. We loved that it is on the 3rd floor and has a view of the ocean.

We always are listening to our guests and making adjustments to our amenities. Based on these we are adding addition towel hangers on the balcony, bringing more games and a Blue Ray player when we go this summer. We want to make our place somewhere people want to return and visit.
