Very nice rooms. Close to downtown area, could be walkable for some. Stairway is steep but host had good pictures of the property and this is common in the older buildings of the area. Really cool claw foot tub, high step to get into the tub. Overall great location and very nice place to stay.

The apartment is very comfortable with everything we needed We loved the quiet neighborhood and the location was really great within walking distance to both the beach area and downtown shops & restaurants.

This was a wonderful place for our family of 4 to spend our last 3 days of our 10 day vacation to Coastal Maine. The property was spotless and located within walking distance of great restaurants, shopping, and the 4th of July fireworks. The hosts were great and were in contact to ensure that our stay was perfect. We will be back!

This is a solid apartment located between downtown and the Eastern Promenade. A relatively short flight of stairs to a 2 BDRM apartment. Good-size bedrooms, a nice living room, and a solid, clean, albeit somewhat utilitarian kitchen. Intelligent modifications to the bathroom to make it more usable. Good communications and easy check-in. The apartment is located on the side of Munjoy Hill between downtown and the water views of Cisco Bay. A 10 /- minute walk to downtown and all the restaurants and shops that Portland offers and a bit less to the Eastern Promenade. Which, truth be told, is spectacular.

We’ve been to Portland many times before but never to the Munjoy Hill area. What a wonderful treat. We were a little confused when we first got to the house to find that the “Parking Available” in the listing meant parking available on the street. But it was definitely available (although the street the house was on had 2 hour parking after 9am and the car had to be moved.). Overnight parking on the street is easy to find. The steps to the second floor where we were staying are quite steep but doable (important for those of us over 65 with heavy luggage). The rooms were very comfortable and clean and the evenings were quiet in this area. We loved that we could open all the windows and had a breeze. We will be back. Coffee ME Up is easily walkable and fantastic for both morning coffee and food. The used bookstores are excellent. The huge cruise ships you can see in the Harbor at night if you walk down to the Eastern Promenade are a bit bizarre and MASSIVE but incredible to see when lit up. We strongly recommend an outing to the Portland Head Light in Fort Williams Park. What incredible views.

The apartment is just as pictured. The bed is super comfortable and the kitchen is great. Check-in couldn't have been easier and the hosts recommended lovely places to eat at. Odd to mention, but the towels in the bathroom were really nice! Couch in the living room is a little uncomfortable, but the chairs in that room are great! Overall would stay here again in the future.

It was very clean and comfortable. The layout and artwork are tastefully done. Munjoy Hill is a great neighborhood. And if you enjoy walking it is the perfect place to be. Please note that there is a fairly steep staircase to climb to get to the apartment. There was ample parking available close by on a side street. We had no trouble parking. But note that there is no dedicated parking. Plus the street where the apartment is located (Waterville St) has some parking restrictions you need to follow if you choose to park there.

Nice place to stay

We enjoyed staying in Portland at this rental. It was clean, well kept, and everything we needed was available. Walking distance to downtown.

Great location!

The location was the shining star, but the very comfortable mattresses and Maine style were perfect as well! The host was very responsive and texted us to make sure we were doing well. It was very clean too!
