Peaceful Edgartown Retreat - Clean, Renovated, Central Location

Located in a secluded, private Edgartown neighborhood. Tastefully furnished, with hardwood floors throughout.

The first floor has a gourmet kitchen with all essentials and more, including dishwasher, lobster pot, Keurig coffee machine, toaster, and microwave. The kitchen opens to a large living/dining room area with a table that seats at least 10 (and expands for more if needed). Off the living/dining room is a TV room with large flat-screen TV and armoire with tons of games for adults & kids. Also off the living/dining room is a master bedroom with queen bed and en suite bathroom with washer/dryer. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, a bathroom, and a hallway nook with a daybed that easily accommodates an extra child or adult sleeper. The daybed faces another large flat-screen TV. Window A/C units and fans are provided upstairs and downstairs. Baseboard heating with two zones.

This peaceful vacation home is situated on one acre in a wooded, private association three miles from Edgartown center, next door to the Vineyard Golf Club, and centrally located for convenient access to the whole island. Private tennis courts, a short walk from the house, are available for free to all guests. The house is located steps from the bike path, providing easy, safe biking access for the whole family to virtually the entire island, including Morning Glory Farm and Edgartown center and beaches.

In addition to the above, amenities also include outdoor shower, deck with table & chairs, Weber gas grill, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards & toys, Xfinity cable, WiFi, Apple TV, tennis rackets & balls, fishing poles & tackle, and an air mattress for extra guests if needed. Linens & towels are provided. No pets.

We loved this place! Perfect location, 10 minutes from Edgartown center, but private and cozy with everything you could possibly need for a few days on the Vineyard. Matt provided detailed information and was quick to respond to questions. I would stay here again, and highly recommend for a party of 2, like us, or for a larger group with kids. Absolutely perfect!!!

Great property and central location! The house was clean and fully stocked. It was a very comfortable experience for us all. Matthew was a wonderful host and had great communication. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable house with everything we needed. Only gave it 4 stars for cleanliness because the trash from previous tenants had been improperly disposed of and animals had rummaged through their trash and littered over the yard. It is a very remote location so we had to rely on Ubers to go everywhere.

Our family had a wonderful and very comfortable time at this Peaceful Retreat.The kitchen is well stocked, as is the house and available beach items. Our family ages ranged from 71-7 months and our needs were well met. The beds are comfortable. The property is private and beautiful. We loved our time here!

Wedding stay

We would definitely stay in Matt’s house again. Close to town, shops, and restaurants. Wonderful area if you have children. House is very well stocked, clean, and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay tremendously! Thanks Matt!

Still Awesome

This was a return trip to this house and it was as perfect this time as last time. Comfortable furnishings, well stocked kitchen and huge table for eating and playing. Short drive to the beach without any traffic.

Perfect Getaway!!

Our stay at this beautiful vacation home on Martha’s Vineyard was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was immaculate, with a perfect blend of charm and modern amenities that made our family vacation truly special. The property’s location couldn’t have been better. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, it offered the perfect balance of privacy and convenience. We were just a short drive away from some of the island’s best beaches, as well as charming towns like Edgartown and Oak Bluffs. This vacation home was everything we hoped for and more. It offered the perfect setting for a memorable family getaway, combining the relaxed island vibe of Martha’s Vineyard with all the comforts of home. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, with wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. We can’t wait to return!

The Perfect Spot

We needed a place in mid September to attend a family wedding on the Vineyard to accommodate five adults. Matthew’s home was a perfect find for us in a lovely residential quiet area close to Edgartown. The home was extremely well furnished with a professional kitchen and it really felt like home away from home. It had all the Wi-Fi and entertainment ready to go as well as a nice deck off the side with an excellent gas grill which we used for two nights. We are already plotting our next return to this home! Fantastic house in a great location

We were visiting MV for a family wedding and this house turned out to be perfect for my wife, my five adult children and me. The house is well-maintained and all the furniture is in great shape. The large dining table was perfect for our game nights. The deck was spacious with a grill and nice-sized table that led to very nice "hanging out" time for the family after beach days. The decorative touches throughout were really pleasing, giving the property a very comfortable vibe. Location was convenient, close enough drive to both downtown Edgartown and Oak Bluffs for visits. South Beach (our favorite on the Island) is also not too far of a ride. Morning Glory Farm is a short ride for morning coffee and pastries, as well. Matt, the owner was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. Very helpful and communicative. Overall, you can't go wrong with this house. We intend to stay again next Summer if our vacation schedules allow.

Wonderful cottage

This was a wonderful little cottage! A colleague and I stayed here since hotels were fully booked. It had everything one could possibly need and was well appointed. It was also in a location that was a close drive to anything one would want to access. I had an issue on checkout, and the property owner was very understanding, which we so appreciated.

Excellent Property!

I can't say enough positive things about this property. First off, Matt was a superb host. His communication is fantastic. Clear check-in and check-out instructions with several house manuals regarding the ins and outs of the property along with the surrounding areas. He is quick to respond to any questions. The property was immaculate upon check-in, is spacious and quiet and serene. The house is stocked with everything you could need and more. I would 100% stay here again and any property that Matt rents. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Quiet and comfortable

I mainly rented this because of the multiple five star reviews and it didn’t disappoint. I intend on looking up the availability of this place again the next time I visit the Vineyard

Great Week End Stay

We had an excellent stay at the house while attending a family wedding on the Vineyard. The house was absolutely immaculate upon arrival with more amenities that I have ever seen in a vacation rental home. Any and everything you could possibly need and more was available in the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. The house is completely updated and located in a quiet neighborhood within a short drive to anywhere you need to be.

Fabulous family getaway in Martha's Vineyard

Our stay here was wonderful and the hosts one of the best we've ever had. The house was ideal for our small family, in a quiet lovely neighborhood and was well stocked with everything we needed and didn't know we needed: coffee, beach towels, to-go containers, paper products, art supplies and games for kids, etc. We will definitely consider staying here again!

Great property in lovely location

We had a fantastic week in this home. It’s well-maintained, clean, and in a great location. I was thrilled not to pack sheets, bath towels, and they even provided keurig cups for morning coffee! We’ll definitely be back.

Edgartown retreat

We had a great week in edgartown. House was perfectly stocked, A+ for amenities. Nice and quiet, used the tennis courts, enjoyed the bike paths and obviously the beaches 😊

Lovely home in the woods!

My friends and I had a wonderful time at this home. The house had everything we needed and was super clean. The owner was so accommodating and very responsive. We will definitely stay here on our next visit!

Spacious , newer home, nestled in the woods 10-15 minutes from almost anywhere.

Home is newer, with spacious, with large windows, nice kitchen , bath and laundry room updates. It was very clean and extremely well stocked , kitchen and bath. I appreciated the beach chairs, South Beach or Edgartown only 10 minutes away.

We have spent many summers on Martha's Vineyard, and we have a lot of family who live on the island all year long. We love the island so much and have been so lucky to purchase a vacation home there. We are excited to be able to share it with others.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

This property is located in a central part of the island, far separated from main roadways, and surrounded by leafy Vineyard oak trees. We rented the house for two years and when it came on the market we were so glad to be able to buy it.
