Welcome to 175 Lynn. Located just 5 houses from Lake Erie and "Ohio's Most Beautiful Mile", this house is inside the gates of Lakeside. Enjoy your morning coffee and evening sunsets on the lakefront path just steps away. It sits in close proximity to Hotel Lakeside and the downtown district. There is off-street parking for 2 vehicles directly in front of the house.

This is a very clean, fully furnished house that sleeps 6 people downstairs and 8 people upstairs. At one time it was actually two separate units as the upstairs has its own great room and full kitchen. In addition, the upstairs has 2 bedrooms and a sleeping porch. The downstairs unit also has 2 bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, enclosed front porch, and laundry room.

Amenities include central air, wi-fi, 2 dishwashers, two fully equipped kitchens with new cookware, washer and dryer (downstairs), gas grill, enclosed front porch, bath towels, and hotel quality bed linens.

Please note that Lakeside Chautauqua is a gated community Memorial Day through Labor day. As such, there are gate fees and vehicle fees that are not included with the rental of this house. Lakesideohio.com has more information.

During the off season there are no gate fees. This house makes a great venue for Girls' Night Out. The towns of Marblehead and (nearby) Port Clinton are home to many restaurants and boutiques. Enjoy a massage or take a group painting class.

Great location and lots of room!

This is our second day at the property and we enjoyed it again. It is a terrific location with room for two cars and a golf cart.

Perfect Multi-Family/Generational Rental

Return stay celebrating another family milestone with multiple generations. House provides everything from space to seating to bring multiple families together. Perfectly situated near water, 5th street gate and downtown Lakeside. Host is great to work with!

Great Family Vacation!

Our week at Lakeside was a lovely, summer time! This location on Lynn was perfect to allow our young kids independence when riding their bikes. We loved being able to walk down and sit by the water in the evenings. The dual living spaces and kitchens were helpful with meals. Thanks for a great stay!

Memories by the Lake

Perfect for large multi-families vacation! Plenty of space, sleeping configuration with relaxing porch breezes. Nicely updated decor and centrally located to Lakeside amenities, steps away from lake walking path.

Great place to stay for eclipse

Our family had a wonderful visit. The hosts made sure we had all the information and resources we needed to enjoy our stay. The home was very comfortable for our three-generation group. The fun parks and posturing were great for fun and eclipse viewing. Thank you!

Serendipity House is Perfect!

My extended family and I have been coming to Lakeside for the last 20 summers. We e stayed in our share of cottages. This cottage stood out in several ways: location. The location is so close to the water, pier, downtown shopping area. It's also in a cul-de-sac type street, so traffic is minimal. Next, the house has so much space for teens and adults to spread out, have space, and also a great living room/kitchen area to gather to eat, socialize, and play games together. Finally, the owners were easy to work with and helped make our stay so easy. I definitely want to stay here again!

Great rental and location

This rental was very nice! Comfortable and accommodated our large family very well. Front porch was wonderful for relaxing and evening games. Owners were great to work with. Washer was not working. Called at 830 AM and was replace by 1230PM. Could not have been any faster! Location was wonderful! Just a few houses to lake and walking path and close to downtown area!

Clean home in a great location

When we arrived, checking in was simple. The home was clean. The layout between the 2 floors is unique, with the second floor feeling more spacious than the first. It was nice to have 2 full kitchens for multi family meals. The home was well stocked and we did not find ourselves without any basic needs. We had an AC issue while there (during unseasonably warm weather), which was partially addressed during our stay. The location with proximity to the lakefront and the downtown area is a big bonus. Would highly recommend.

Great lakeside house

The house was great the host were more than flexible with our group! Well stocked with all the cooking supplies, blankets, pillows , furniture. The upstairs space was our family nice bright open lots of seating. Upstairs to downstairs was very well insulated. Location is so prime in super short walking distance to the lake & the downtown area. The patio out front was great for a birthday party. We were able to park 2 cars & 2 carts. The only con was the upstairs bunk room was really hot. We tried lots of different solutions, doors open/ closed, windows, fans blinds etc. Compared to the rest of the house it was very warm.

Spacious Home, Steps from the Shore

This home is more spacious than it appears in photos. There was plenty of space for our multigenerational family to share. The house is very clean, the towels and bed linens provided are great quality, beds are comfortable, living space & front porch are fantastic! The house is very well insulated, when upstairs you don’t hear what’s going on downstairs and vice versa. There’s room out front to park 2 cars, a golf cart & multiple bikes. Lake Erie is just a few houses down and since the street is a dead end, there’s really no traffic & kids can safely ride bikes & scooters out front. The 2nd floor gets an amazing cross breeze with the windows & sliding doors open, which is especially great for the sleeping porch that is not air conditioned. The rest of the home is air conditioned & is very comfortable. The owner met us at the home for check-in and showed us around. She is very nice and accommodating. It’s such a great home in a great location inside of Lakeside, we will definitely rent it again!

Prettier than pics, great location

This house is nicer than the photos portray. Decor is new (for the most part), furniture is new. The bathrooms are not pictured; they are typical 90s bathrooms, but just fine. Upstairs apartment was perfect for our teens. Very quiet street that backs up to the hotel.

Overall a great property

Overall this was a beautiful area and this house worked really well. The only reason I did 4 stars and not 5 stars was the checkout process. Before checking out, all towels must be washed, dried, and folded/put away. This wouldn't be so bad if the checkout time was later but it is 10am so with a large number of people all showering at night or in the morning, they have to wake up at 6am or you are washing towels until 1am then using paper towels to wash your face and hands in the morning. They also ask you to take out all the garbage which is perfectly fine but instead of throwing it in the bins outside the house, they ask you to take it to dumpsters on another street. Without knowing the area, we drove up that specific street but did not see the garbage and instead just drove home with all of it and threw it away at home. Besides the checkout process though, everything else was lovely and really works well if you have a large family.

Dreamy Lakeside Cottage

Wonderful cottage within a block of Lake Erie. I hadn't been to Lakeside in a almost 20 years, and used to stay on Lynn every year. How different and lovely this cottage and the ones surrounding it are now. The home is just as pictured. Spacious, well appointed, and home-y. You won't be disappointed! And the location is close to "downtown" Lakeside, the Hotel, Sypherd's Bike/Cart rental and the laundramat. You will enjoy your time!

house was great! perfect location

this house was clean and nice in perfectly located. we had a party of 14 and had plenty of room. owners were responsive when needed. BE SURE to read the lakeside gate fees schedule for cars and people. We had to pay $400 to get our party and cars into to gates for the weekend.

New Favorite House!

This is an excellent house for our family; house was clean, location the best, owners easy to deal with. House is beautifully decorated and, if you rent both units, the upstairs is a great hang-out/game area. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Property

This property was perfect for our family stay. It is immaculate and well located in the Lakeside community. We were greeted by the owners who showed us around the house. It has two well stocked kitchens and was very comfortable for four adults and five children. We plan to stay here next year for our family reunion.
