Cozy & Comfortable

My daughter and I stayed for 6 days during her visit to the Mayo Clinic. The home is very comfortable and convenient location to the clinic. Bedding and furniture very comfortable. I would definitely stay again!

Perfect home base

The house was a great respite between appointments at Mayo. The location couldn’t be beat and the house had great charm and coziness for relaxation. Out host was very responsive and made us feel at home.

MN visit

This is the 4th time we have used VRBO to rent properties and Casa Bella was a great place. Good location within walking distance of the downtown area, exceptionally clean and comfortable to stay at. Only recommendation is to add a few more coffee cups to the available dishes.

Great stay

Enjoyed our stay, close to Mayo Clinic and shopping/restaurants. Our host was great and always available and responsive if we need anything (although we didn't, they had pretty much everything we needed there).

Happy Texas Family

We will certainly come back to Bella Casa! We loved having three bedrooms. Everything you need to cook with. Very clean and cozy. Our host made everything super easy! Cute back yard and beautiful windows! We had such a great and relaxing time in this precious home!

A healing stay

We had a wonderful stay at this home! It felt like being at home. We were very close to Mayo like we needed to be. The house was so clean and nicely decorated! Our host was very kind and accommodating. We definitely would stay here again if we need to be in Rochester!! Thank you so much Christopher!!

Comfortable and convenient to Mayo Clinic.

Comfortable older home within blocks of Mayo Clinic. The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. Window air conditioning kept us cool during a hot spell. Chris was very accommodating and helpful.

Great historic home near the Mayo Clinic

This was a clean, well stocked, beautiful old home. My wife and I had appointments at the Mayo Clinic for the week and staying here vs a Mayo area hotel was a game changer for us. Grabbed our groceries the first day and didn’t have to go out to eat. Kitchen had everything that we needed. Mayo was walking distance but we found it easier to get a 5 day pass and drive right down the road. Multiple appointments walking would have been too much for us to go back and forth. Check in was easy and well explained as well as check out. Host is amazing. I will definitely look to book again for future Mayo appointments.

Perfect for our business in town

Inside was great. Large kitchen and 3 bedrooms. Long driveway with room for 3-4 cars. Short walk to the Mayo Clinic.

Mayo Visit

The property was perfect for our group and the host was very helpful. Everything about the property was as shown in the listing and worked well for us. The walk to the Mayo Clinic was also very easy, so our stay was very pleasant.

Great place to stay for Mayo

This time is perfect for a Mayo visit. Close proximity to Mayo. The home has so much character but was very clean and comfortable. Nice linens and towels, comfortable beds. The little extras like condiments, spices, Kleenex, bathroom toiletries etc was a great added touch.

Great location, felt like home

The owners went above and beyond to make it feel like home. We had everything we needed. The home is only a few blocks from Mayo and allowed us to walk to our appointments. The neighborhood and surrounding area felt very safe. The house has amazing charm! We will definitely stay again on upcoming trips!

Loved!

Thanks to Chris and his wife for proving a great place to stay. Spent almost a month here post transplant surgery. In very close proximity to Mayo Clinic which allowed for easy back and forth travel in between appointments. We were happy with our stay!

Met our needs

The good: Price, quiet peaceful neighborhood, walk to Mayo, all new windows, high quality bedding, coolest cast iron radiators ever, fantastic old character in floors, woodwork, lighting fixtures, and stained glass windows. Next to good: Curb appeal is so-so, both tubs need some TLC, and electrical needs updating (I had to find the breaker box in the basement, as the kitchen window AC unit tripped it).

Charming interior

This is an older home that has some modern updates while keeping the charming vibe of the original interior. The furnishings are very comfortable and the linens/towels are nice quality. The owner is very responsive and checking in and out were hassle free. I would consider this a bath and a half, though. The upstairs bathroom has only a clawfoot tub with no shower and the state of the tub (with peeling porcelain) caused me not to use it. Since all 3 bedrooms are upstairs, it would be nice to have a shower upstairs. Also, be forewarned that the outside of the house looks run down. This will give the wrong impression of the welcoming interior which lies inside.

Casa Bella is named after our oldest daughter who was an answer to prayer for my wife and I. We decided to name it after her because of how charming this house is. This home is over 100 years old. For that reason, this home has all of the charms of an old home with some modern touches in decor. The property is super cozy and perfect for a home away from home stay. We provide 3 super comfy queen beds in each of the bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own style and decor.
We have tried to provide all of the amenities that would make a visitor feel at home. We strive to make ourselves available to any questions or needs that our guests may have.
