This is a great spot for a family vacation. Enjoy this nicely decorated, quiet, lake front home in an amenity-filled community offering 2 pools, tennis courts, docks perfect for fishing or launching a kayak, sand volleyball, basketball and playgrounds. Spend a quiet morning sipping your coffee from the screened porch overlooking the lake. Then, you are just a short drive to Maryland and Delaware beaches, the boardwalk, restaurants and great shopping. Shower off the sand from your day in the spacious outdoor shower, prepare dinner in a well-equipped kitchen, take an evening stroll or bike ride, and enjoy a movie with family and friends. Mallard Lakes is a great place to enjoy all the activities of the beach and an ocean resort along with the peace and quiet of a relaxing getaway.

Great place to stay

My family enjoyed a long weekend. It’s in a great location with plenty of amenities . Chris is super responsive and goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of.

Excellent Experience in Fenwick

I traveled with my husband, mother-in-law and two kiddos (ages 7 and 10). We thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations and Chris was an excellent and responsive host. I reached out to him a few times and he was kind and very, very timely in his responses. I was a bit worried about not being closer to the beach, but we were able to quickly and easily access the beach via Lighthouse road.

Quiet and perfect location

Chris was a great host, perfect place. Relaxing, close to everything you could think of to do. Would definitely recommend.

Family Escape

The property was just as listed. Very nice and comfy. Lots of space and Chris seemed to think of everything. Mallard Lakes is a wonderful community! The pools are kept pristine and everyone here is extremely kind! My only area of concern was the wi-fi speed. Everything (especially the TV) really lagged. Overall though, excellent stay. We would return!

Great family getaway

Great property for a quiet getaway. Perfect location in proximity to family entertainment, restaurants, and beaches. Chris was an excellent host with fast communication. Very clean and cozy stay in Selbyville, Delaware, perfect for a family vacation!

Very quiet place to relax

The photos of this property do not do it justice! It is so much cuter in person! The house is at the back of the neighborhood away from busy streets, lights, and noise. It makes for a very quiet place to relax. We stayed at the property as a family of 5 and felt like there was ample room for all of us. We did not have time to take advantage of the pools, courts, or playgrounds, but they looked lovely and well cared for. Chris was very easy to communicate with and very timely in his responses regarding questions etc. We would definitely stay again!

Family Beach Week

The property had everything we needed to have a restful and relaxing beach week. The place was comfortable and had plenty of beds for 5 people. Mallard lakes is a great place to have a family get away with the available pool and other recreational activities

Fabulous week of vacation

Plenty of space on the proprerty. Confortable furniture and bedding. Fully equipped for every situation. Nice location near everything. We especially the Rehoboth beach and the Ocean city boardwalk. We recommand this place without hesitation.

2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath rental at a great location

4 adults and one teen...very nice rental...had 2 bathrooms which we needed! Use of the kayaks was great!

FAMILY TIMES

My Family stayed here in July. 2023. A great feature is 2 bathrooms on the 2nd floor. They look to be newly renovated. Most rentals at Mallards have only 1 full bath and it is located on second floor, which means exeryone shares. With Chris's property the 2 full baths on second floor allow for more privacy for families. Mallard Lakes is great for families, there are 2 large pools, tennis shuffle board and we like to ride our bikes. Just 10 min to OC MD where parking is free if you go to beach for day.

Perfect host

Chris was so great at responding! I booked 2 months in advance and had several questions during that time span. Regardless if it was before I booked or the day of, he responded quickly! He was very accommodating and the home was as expected. Kitchen had everything I could have needed, property was clean, and beds were pretty comfy. Lots of games and things to do onsite. We would certainly stay again.

Beach weekend

We enjoyed our long weekend stay in this home in a quiet neighborhood near the beach - and the restaurants nearby. We were very lucky for end of September and had warm, sunny days and enjoyed the beach where we saw many dolphins and even a whale 🐳 we would highly recommend this place which had everything you need in a home away from home. Thank you!

Great spot and host

We enjoyed our stay at Mallard Lakes. The house was clean and comfortable and the location was great for us. Communication with the owner was easy and the amenities both in the home and neighborhood were enjoyed by the whole family.

Mallard Lakes vacation

Great location - nice and quiet and tucked in the back. Grounds well kept. The condo was nice with ample space. Chris very easy and prompt responses. No problems but cleaning service before visit started could have been a little more thorough.

Perfect

Perfect house for our family of 5. It was clean and had all of the necessities (beach chairs, boogie boards) for a beach trip. The kids loved the pool and basketball courts. Chris was very responsive to our messages. The entire process was easy. There are lots of activities and restaurants near by.

Great location and community accommodations

Mallard Lakes is a quiet community packed with a lot of amenities (pickle ball, tennis, swimming pool, shuffle board, corn hole, volley ball, playgrounds and walking and biking throughout). If you want to kayak on the lake, bike around the complex, or sit on the beach, Chris has those items available to use as well. The property is close to the beach and Chris was a wonderful host. The condo has plenty of seating area and the screened in porch was wonderful. There were 5 of us staying there.

Quiet relaxing neighborhood

We enjoyed staying in Mallard Lakes. It is a quiet , relaxing neighborhood. We enjoyed the pools. They kids enjoyed rides bikes around the neighborhood and playing pickle ball. The town house was very clean and comfortable.
