Great location and a very communicative host. Loved getting the kayaks out for a relaxing family time! Enough room for parents and kids to connect as well as have their privacy.

Hummingbird Hideaway was the perfect quiet and relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle. Justin was a responsive and accommodating host, from the days leading up to our stay through checkout. There was something for everyone—whether relaxing in the soaking tub under the natural light of the skylight, playing pickleball, or making the quick 10–15 minute drive to the beach. The location also provided easy access to several beaches in both Delaware and Maryland. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Hummingbird Hideaway to individuals, couples, and small families!

This house was great for our friend group. There were a lot of thoughtful touches that we appreciated. Justin was responsive and gave clear instructions about the property. We spent a lot of time in the screened in porch area. Looking out at the water was so peaceful. We also enjoyed the property amenities. The pool was close and we didn’t feel like it was too crowded. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Getaway

Such a beautiful little spot to getaway. Perfectly located between many beaches with such short distances. We stayed for a week and visited a different beach each day!

Perfect spot!

The house was super clean, Justin was so easy to communicate with, and the house was in a great location. Close proximity to grocery stores, restaurants, and fun family things to do… and close to the beach! Overall, a perfect stay :)

An enjoyable mini vacation

It was a last minute needed vacation which was nothing short of an awesome vacation! The property was very clean, nicely decorated and the owner was friendly and accomodating. Highly recommend this property to rent!

I can't say enough good things. It had everything you need for a vacation. The location was perfect, not far from numours beaches and restaurants. The owner was amazing, always answers back in no time at all.

Great beach week!

Excellent property in perfect location close to everything. Well stocked with everything you would need for a summer beach vacation. Very clean and spacious for small group or family of 4-8 ppl. Communications with Property Host was excellent.

Family Vacation

Mallard Lakes was a great location for a family vacation. Our toddler had a great beach trip and the listing was exactly as advertised. The owners were very responsive and helping. Overall, we had a great experience.

Fantastic

The stay overall was fantastic. Justin was a wonderful host, he gave me his number in case we needed to reach out to him for anything. The house was so great and the area was wonderful. Definitely recommend staying here and if I’m ever in the area again I would love to come back!

Hummingbird nest

A clean and well ordered place at the end of the lane, affording quiet and privacy and lots of birds. It allowed us to have a wonder family vacation. Plus, the pool is very clean and nice.
