It was exactly what I was looking for, for our family spring break vacation. The pools and hot tub were a quick walk from the condos. Close to the beach-just a quick Walk across the street. Close to shopping and restaurants. We went to salsas it was great for Mexican food. Pleasure pier was close and easy to park. Overall we had a great vacation.

Great place and hosts !

Great place in Galveston ,clean, easy access to pools and beach ! The hosts were so responsive and send everything you needed to know in advance !

We absolutely loved our time in Galveston! Perfect mix of history and beach time. Jom & Michelle's condos were wonderful! My family of 4 traveled with Grandma, and it was so nice for her to have her own space (with an adjoining door to ours). The condos were very well equipped. The two pools on the property (one heated/one not) were beautiful. And a very quick walk to the beach! We would definitely recommend.

Close to everything

The place was nice, was clean, was comfortable, had all we needed, was across the street from the beach and was close to everything. We had a great time.

Wonderful family vaction

The condo was close to the beach and shopping. The staff was friendly. We all had a great time and hope to go back next year.

Elegant Property With Beautiful Views

Above and beyond what we expected. Pictures on the internet dont do justice, very spacious and beautiful. The balcony views are breathtaking. Definitely would book it again.

Great Stay

We had both units and it was great for our 2 families, totaling 11 people. There was plenty of space. The location was good and if we head back to Galveston we would stay here again. Only complaint, the fridge makes a really loud, weird noise every so often but it worked just fine. It wouldn’t deter us from staying again.

Galveston Girls Trip

The condo and property owners were very nice. The condo is in a great location and is stocked with everything you need or may forget. The only drawback is the complex the condo is located in. We did not have access to the pool for the entire stay, and the office staff were not professional about the situation.

These adjoining condos were ideal for our family weekend in Galveston! The setup was perfect for combination of togetherness and privacy. The location was perfect, across the street from Walmart and just minutes to anything else. The hosts provided detailed instructions beforehand which made our check-in trouble free. Both units were clean and kitchens had all the essentials. Both units had their own beach towels and beach/swim toys and accessories. The beach view from the balconies required turning your head sharply to the left, but we hadn't booked it for the view. All three of the main mattresses were very squeaky, but comfortable and we all still slept fine. The staff at the condo office were all very nice and welcoming when we went to pay for our parking pass. I wouldn't say it was a luxury stay but we had everything we needed for a great trip. We would book these condos again in the future.

Good family vacation

Family had a great time and stay at this location. Grill worked great and loved the 2 pools onsite. Easy, convenient location to beach and walmart for last minute items. Hosts were top knotch and honestly some of the best I have ever worked with and provided everything needed and did a check in during the stay to make sure all was well. Appreciated that greatly. Though the buildings are a little older, we had everything we needed to cook meals and have a comfortable stay. Loved the conjoined rooms made it much more accessible for our large family. Only other thing I would mention is just the overall cleanliness we found some cigarette buds in our bedroom and the drain in bathtub was slow.

Thanksgiving at the beach

We really enjoyed the location and setup of these condos. It is perfect for having multiple generations stay together and if you need some extra privacy then you can shut the adjoining doors. Both units had plenty of dishes and cookware. There were also plenty of extra pillows and blankets. It was a very short walk across the street to the beach. It was also nice to have the pools basically to ourselves since it was the offseason. One of the nicest things was that the checkout list was minimal. Basically we just had to take out the trash. This made our departure day much less stressful. Given the positive experience we'll be looking to stay at Driftwood Dreams again or one of the other properties owned by J&M.

LOTS of problems.

In the one bedroom —- the toaster didn’t work, the ice maker was frozen over and wouldn’t dispense. The balcony furniture was completely rusted and broken in some places. The balcony door wouldn’t open correctly. Seems the door knob needs to be replace. We had to rig it open to enjoy the balcony the entire trip.

A 2 star review is pretty harsh considering the only things you reported during your 2 night stay was a balcony chair that broke when sat upon and that y'all couldn't figure out how to open the balcony door. Had I known about the toaster, I could've told you where the spare is kept. As for the ice build up, I also could have explained how to unstick the ice shoot. I hope the group of 12 yr old girls that you accompanied had a better experience.

Not what we were expecting.

Pros- Great location, gym, pool and hot tub were nice. Across the street from the beach is always a plus! Cons- The units smelled musty, had to go buy air fresheners to try and help. The comforters were a tad damp. The place needed a GOOD deep cleaning!!! Not sure why we were charged a cleaning fee when there were finger prints on the tvs, a toy car was under a seat from a pervious guest, smudges on the door frames. The pots and pans could be updated and the hand soap looked like it had been combined with another hand soap. Bedding and pillow were old and outdated. The mattress pads had stains on them and looked like they just needed to be thrown out.

We're sorry you felt our unit was not clean enough. We so seldom get feedback that our cleanliness is not up to snuff. We have forwarded your feedback to our cleaning team for training purposes. We will have them take action on your feedback. It's true. When we refill hand soap, the new soap is sometimes a new color. We'll have to give that thought again. Reconsider the importance of mixing hand soap colors. We're not sure about the bedding and pillow outdated comment. As we look at them, we feel they are in good condition. Perhaps some of our other guests will offer some comments since it has never been commented on previously.

Fantastic Weekend in Galveston

We travelled to Houston to visit our daughter and family for a week. We booked the condos for our grandson's birth day. It was fantastic. We crossed the street to the beach in the mornings and the evenings and afternoon we spent at the pools. The condo's were exactly as advertised. Having the adjoining condos was such a bonus. we will book again when we are visiting.

Adjoining condos make it special

Knew we wanted Galveston but needed space for mixed ages and new baby. So after researching offerings we found that we could do adjoining condos which worked great. The couple with baby had their space for quiet and the larger condo was the living space. Some in our group had never been on a beach vacation so with beach, pools, hot tub, towels, comfortable and well equipped condos, dolphin tours, shopping the strand, Rainforest Cafe , Pit Stop bbq, walking and exploring the area, game playing and more, we had a very busy, weather perfect weekend at the beach. The entire process from searching to scheduling to staying to checking out was smooth. Thanks for the opportunity to rent the property.

This property was very clean, nicely decorated, great location and amenities. Also, communication and questions where quickly answered and easily. I would highly recommend this location if you are visiting Galveston Beach.
