Set adjacent to a Thoroughbred horse farm, this 2 bedroom, 2 full bath, with central common living area cottage was completely renovated in 2018. It comes complete with modern touches and high end finishes. The property is located on a small lane and is quiet and peaceful. Visit Midway, Ky, a charming small town with resturants and shops. The cottage is 8 miles from Ky. Horse Park, 12 miles from Keeneland and Lexington Airport and 11 miles from downtown Lexington.

We love the location and the view from the house. Beautiful pasture with horses and cows. The house is always clean and perfectly stocked!! This is our 3rd stay here. We will be back.

The home was perfect for 2 couples. Kitchen well stocked with coffee and tea provided. The house was immaculate and checkin very easy. We will seek out this property for all future trips. Very close to Kentucky Hprse Park. Very tranquil location.

Even though there were some surprises, there were a lot of positives. The house is absolutely adorable. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owner communicates well and addresses any concerns. Rental is slightly overpriced for the concerns I shared with owner. The neighbors (which are close - surprise #1) are quiet and it’s easy to forget how close they are. Surprise #2, the train track outside the back door. Friday night (middle of night) it came through 3 times blowing horns. Saturday and Sunday were much less and relatively quiet.

Convenient & clean

Location was exactly where we wanted between Georgetown & Keeneland. Proximity of train is unfortunate but only went through twice a night & was very quick.

Ladies RTTH Weekend

This was our Road To The Horse Weekend at the KY Horse park. This house was perfectly located among beautiful horse farms and a short easy drive to the horse park. It was also a short drive to restaurants in Midway and Georgetown. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house giving plenty of privacy. We had a great visit and hope to be back. Kim and Rodney were extremely accommodating and helpful. Thank you, Kim.

The facilities were perfect. However, not knowing about the proximity of the functioning train at all hours of the day and the lack of tv in each bedroom was a downside. Also, a general information/things to do notebook with nearby restaurants would be helpful.

Love the View

We have stayed in this cottage before and will return in the future when traveling through Lexington. Very comfortable and well equipped with all needed supplies. Peaceful view of pasture and horses.

Horse country delight

A wonderful, clean, comfortable rental. In the country, it did require a drive to any local activity but was not too far from any attractions. The setting and view from the porch made up for any required drive. A very nice property.

Good Location

Simple little cottage with iconic Bluegrass view of rolling pastures with horses. Very clean and supplied with all needs. Two bedrooms, each with own shower bath attached, separated by living area. We enjoyed sitting on the chairs in front yard while watching the horses. We will return.

Great property near KY Horse Park

We absolutely loved this rental. It was an adorable house, very clean, comfortable and well stocked so we could really make ourselves at home. The view at sunrise is beautiful! The proximity to the KY Horse Park was great. It was an easy drive even during those early mornings and late nights. The town of Midway is another must visit. It is a quaint small town with lots of restaurants to choose from. We also visited Frankfort, Lexington, Georgetown and Versailles, which are all very close. Look forward to staying here again.

Great Place

Very nice house that is extra clean! All the things you need for a comfortable stay. Within 15 minutes of Lexington and the Horse Park. There is a railroad in the backyard but we never heard a train.

Lovely stay in Lexington, KY

Such a lovely stay in beautiful Lexington, KY which was enhanced by our choosing of this house that bordered a beautiful farm. The layout of the house was perfect for our stay - great open spaces and separate bedrooms and baths. Rod and Kim are such wonderful hosts. I HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone traveling to Lexington, KY.
