We enjoyed our stay over a long weekend in October. This location worked well as a home base for meeting our college kids from Northern and Tech, and exploring the Munising and AuTrain areas. The house was clean and looked as presented in the listing. I would have appreciated a kitchen table and chairs for meals or board games, but overall the cabin was cozy and met our needs.

Very clean and cozy cabin. We loved the fenced yard for our dogs and being so close to the beach and national forest. Having the convenience of the store and the pizza parlor so close was a bonus, we were able to stay put and not have to run into Munising. Our host was very responsive to our needs. Would highly recommend, especially if you're an outdoor enthusiast like us. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

Very cute cottage. Great location. Had everything we needed. Comfortable beds and pillows. Quiet and private. Loved it!! I accidentally left some shoes there and host contacted me right away :)

What a great place to stay while exploring the UP with dogs! It was in a perfect location for the places we went to visit. The place was clean, had the necessary kitchen items to cook a nice meal, a five minute walk to the beach, and having the two bathrooms with the washer and dryer was such treat! The host was always available, and I highly recommend this place!

A very comfortable accommodation for 4 adults. Plates and bowls were in an awkward location. Window screens would be a nice addition.

Great communication and responsiveness from the host. Wonderful, new appliances. Kitchen was spacious and well equipped. Gas grill was a nice plus. Very nice to have 2 parking spaces off street. Unfortunately we could not use the patio furniture due to pine pitch on the cushions and table. Overall, a good location with nice neighborhood for walking.

Such a great location close to all the area has to offer. This was our 2nd stop on a 2 week/3 stop roadtrip and it was our favorite of the 3. Enough space for us, and the dogs to roam the yard freely. Clean, quiet, and lots of “local” tips in the well written activity logbook for guests to view. That was a bonus which helped us determine a few activities to choose from as the area has a lot to offer. Thank you for providing us an exceptional rental for us to rest at during our downtime.

Beautiful cabin, extremely clean and well stocked with all the basics! Laundry and included soap was a huge plus! Location is fabulous and very close to the beach! Huge yard with fire pit and outdoor dining table. Check out the information binder they provide, it has so much amazing information on dining, hiking and sight seeing. We can’t wait to come back! It was our first but not last visit to “da UP.”

This was a very good experience. Location is great, host is an outstanding communicator, price is very good, and it has everything you need. We would stay there again if we visited the area.

My sister(F61), brother (M58) and I (F64) traveled to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for the first time. We booked this cute cabin in Au Train so that we would be close to Munising for the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Everything in the home was as described in the listing. Clean, enough towels, outdoor space, garage parking and two full bathrooms! I especially liked the floor plan photo's so you could get an idea for size and placement of the bedrooms, etc. Front door access with the key pad was easy, although we struggled a bit to learn the sequence for locking when leaving. The weather was beautiful while there. We explored some waterfalls, Bay Furnace Historic site(great place to search for rocks!) and we're only 15 minutes from Munising and 30 minutes from Marquette. Another perk was only being a block away from the Au Train Grocery for a fresh, hot beef pasty! Voted one of the best pasty's in the area. The only things I would have like to have liked to have provided in the house were a hair dryer, iron & ironing board. Overall, a great 2 day stay and will recommend if asked.

Place was adorable and very comfortable for two couples, especially having two bathrooms . Our host was was very helpful and quick to answer our questions or concerns.
