Great House!

The house is excellent! Secluded, but still close enough to everything you need, grocery stores, beaches, restaurants, etc! The boys loved the backyard and pool! The host, Linda, was om top of everything and very quick to get back to us with restaurant recommendations, etc! Would absolutely stay again!

Loved the pool!!

We had a good stay here, the pool was an awesome asset especially because the weather wasn’t great for the beach. The drive to the beach was quick and easy, and communication with the owner was fast and easy. It was very warm the day we arrived and it took a while for the two air conditioning units to cool the place down, but once cooled it stayed cool for the rest of the trip.

Amazing getaway

Stayed with our family. My son loved the pool. Great to get up and go outside and play in pool. House was clean and perfect for our needs. The beds were in small side and creaky for us. We loved the access to the beach. Very easy to get to town to dinners or beach. The host had great recommendations and very communicative.

Almost there

Overall we had a good time great location Beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the lake , Pool was very nice and relaxing Beds seemed new but only 1 out of 3 measures as a queen others as a full and the queen was way to soft first time in 40 years of marriage my wife and I had to sleep in different rooms (good or bad ?) so for 2 married couples staying at house not the best sleeping situation Cleaning staff needs to look in those spots where an OCD person would gravitate towards looking

Great, quiet getaway!

The area has so much to offer! After a hike to the beach or a day out exploring, it was such a beautiful, quiet home to return to and relax by the pool or play cornhole with the family. Courteous property manager and an all-around great stay!

Perfect family getaway

I’m a single mom and stayed with my 4 children plus my sons girlfriend. Everybody wanted something different and this home covered all the basis! Lake, pool, and beach! The home was very clean, more stocked with essentials than other homes I’ve stayed in. Absolutely perfect!

Excellent, relaxed family vacation

We had a wonderful time for our week's stay at Linda's property. Everything was exceptionally clean, basics were stocked, and Linda was very attentive and responsive to any small issue that arose. We loved having the well-maintained pool all to ourselves. We will definitely stay again!

Very Nice home

Linda is an excellent communicator and was very responsive. The house is nicely renovated and tastefully decorated and was clean. The pool was in good shape water was crystal clear. The neighborhood was quiet which I was very happy about. I know Linda asks for suggestions. She did put in bedside tables which previous people had requested. I would like to see more places to put things like small dressers for the bedrooms. The outer door to the garage could use a little TLC so that one is able to prop it open When bringing stuff into the house and the tension is loosened on the door. Overall very nice rental.

Relaxing Stay

House was in a remote area across from a large pond, which made it nice, as it was quiet and relaxing. Great sunrises and sunsets over the pond! We loved the pool and not too far was a very nice beach and kid-friendly activities (Adventureland) in Narragansett! If you're looking for lobster rolls and seafood go to Aunt Carrie's in Point Judith, close to Narragansett, RI (same exit).

Words cannot describe

This property is the best we have ever stayed at even though beds are small we made do! The sunrises were spectacular out the kitchen window and sunroom. Everyone enjoyed the pool, we spent endless hours out there. This house is conveniently located in private warden shores and access to lake is roughly a mile away. Narragansett and Wakefield is 15 minutes away with lots of lovely restaurants and don’t forget to stop for ice cream when in Wakefield, pricey but large cone is huge!!!! Don’t think twice about booking, just book it! You won’t be sorry! Very quiet and relaxing.Thank you Linda , Hope to be able to return next year!

2nd time was even better than the 1st.

This was our second year in a row staying at this property. There is something magical about it, at least to our family there is. We had a beautiful relaxing week. Spent the mornings waking up at 430 am to watch the sunrise over the lake, falling back to sleep for a bit, spending the day by the pool or a quick trip to the beach in the late afternoon till evening, and then coming back to the house to BBQ. After going into town to get some of the best ice cream ever, we would sit in the back yard and watch the stars. Linda is quick to respond to any texts or calls. Any complaints we have are small in the grand scheme of things. For a house that sleeps six, we wised the table outside was bigger than a 4 seater. There was also not enough paper products and cleaning products for a week, which we thought the cleaning crew that comes after a family leaves would have left enough supplies for a week long house stay. This included items such as paper towel, toilet paper, trash bags and sponges for the week. The sponge that was already at the kitchen sink had already been used. There was however plenty of laundry detergent (which is so nice that is supplied), dish soap for the sink and dishwasher, disinfecting sprays etc. I did speak to Linda about it, and she did offer to bring us what we needed, but we had to do a market run as it was, so I told her not to worry about it. The disappointment was that last year the house was stocked with these products so it just took us by surprise. I just wish we knew before hand so we could have prepared. We will absolutely be back next year for our summer trip. Take advantage or this little gem of a house and do yourself a favor and book right away.

Relaxing in RI!

The house was clean and tidy! The pool was a bonus after a day at the beautiful beaches. We also loved all the restaurants and delicious food with exquisite views around the area. The house is in a nice setting overlooking Worden Pond. We would walk every morning-remember to use bug spray before you venture off ! Suggestions to make it even better… lamps in the bedrooms for the nighttime readers, handles in the shower- very slippery. Recommendation: put screens on the front porch, so you can feel the cool breeze and enjoy that lovely bonus room! Overall, it was an awesome stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this property! I Can’t say enough about the pool. It was a wonderful alternative to the beach and the kids spent most of their time in it. Great restaurants near by. Linda was easy to reach with any questions I had. I definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful vacation home.

The house was absolutely wonderful, so clean and bright as well as the pool which we used everyday, multiple times😁plenty of room to gather, eat and relax. Would have liked a small dresser or something to put our clothes in aside of the closet👍Also a small light in the bedrooms would have been useful. I probably should have asked but I had the impression that we could walk across the street to the lake but that was not the case. There is access to the lake in a few spots but u have to drive there. Don’t think that would have been a deal breaker but we fish and have paddle boards so it was a bit disappointing that we ended up having to pack and go instead of walking across the street. That being said, you can’t have everything but this placed checked off a lot of boxes - and I’m very picky. Would highly recommend renting here.

The pool was a big hit!!

The property was updated and well kept. The kids loved the pool floaties provided. Only 10 minutes from the beach and loved the beach chairs provided. Overall, a great choice for 4 adults and 3 kids - perfect amount of beds and bathrooms.

Awesome retreat

This was the second year we stayed at Linda's home and hopefully not the last. The house is well layed out for our multigenerational family and was bright and airy. The house is off the beaten path but close enough to head to Newport, Providence or the local beaches. A nice surprise was the comfortable beds in all the rooms added to a relaxing vacation. The pool was a added treat to spend the afternoon floating around in the sun. None of us wanted the week to end for we all had a great time and now to look forward to next year.

Amazing Experiences happened at this house!

Beautifully manicured property. Bunnies and groundhogs running around, and we even got to see a turtle lay her eggs in the yard and cover them up. Once the mama turtle was done, you could not even tell she just laid 5 eggs and covered them up as if nothing ever happened. It was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen in person. The pool is perfect for a family. It was crystal clear and well kept. There is something about having a private pool on vacation that just makes it extra special. No worrying about crowds or other peoples behavior. Sitting by the pool at night was beautiful with the sky so clear, it felt as if you were at a planetarium. The inside of the house is adorable. Much roomier in person than in the photos, especially the bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable and even the two bedrooms without AC were cool to sleep in at night because of the summer breeze. I was worried about that, but fans are supplied and that was perfect. The bed linens and towels were top of the line. I actually asked Linda the owner where she got her bath towels because they were so plush and cozy. Both bathrooms were clean and had plenty of storage for toiletries. Kitchen was equipped with all cooking needs. The only thing missing was a good knife for chopping. Be prepared to bring basic condiments, as per Linda because of COVID all food items must be thrown out from the previous renters which makes total sense, so fill some containers with salt, pepper and any other cooking items that you have at home that you prefer not to have to purchase for the week. The washer and dryer were a huge help and plus for washing bathing suits and towels, also they were top of the line appliances. Laundry detergent and fabric softener were supplied, which was a nice touch. All in all it was a fabulous week and we will absolutely look to book again next year. Maybe this time for two week! We miss having a private pool already!
