Located on a country road only 30 minutes from Cooperstown and 15 minutes to beautiful Canadarago Lake where you can enjoy Baker's Beach or bring your boat and take a cruise on the lake! Come enjoy the quiet of the country, whether you want to go for a walk down the road, sit by the pond, grill on the porch, or relax in the sun room. This home is a nice spacious getaway for you and your guests with only a short drive to exciting attractions.

Baseball cooperstown

My family and myself stayed for my sons cooperstown baseball trip. Its about a 30 min drive but the view was worth the drive. Loved the quite area.

Long weekend with friends and famiky

Booked a long weekend in between our 2 families. We’ve vacationed together for years and decided a long weekend called for a get together. The house was perfect for 8, and could have comfortably accommodated more. We loved the layout and the large open main floor. It allowed for good food, good fun and a lot of laughter. George stopped by the first day to make sure everything was ok and to see if we needed anything else. There was light snow overnight one night, George made sure to have the driveway plowed so we could get out if we wanted to. We had such a good time we are already talking about meeting again to experience a different season there.

Peaceful stay close to lots of things of interest

We had a wonderful time at the house. The owner was easy to reach and very friendly. He brought us freshly picked corn on the cob two days, had plenty of wood for us to use in the awesome firepit, and even gave us a tour of his barn. (the grandkids loved seeing the cows close up) We thoroughly enjoyed the sun room, too! There were so fun many things to do around the area that we were able to keep everyone engaged and happy all week. All in all, it was a great week!

Great experience!

Very family friendly! You will feel right at home at this property. Located on a farm so you get a visit from the milking cows each night… so cute! Every amenity you could possibly need and George was a pleasure to deal with. Not especially fancy but if your looking for a down home feel and sitting on the beautiful porch watching the sunset… this is your place! Definitely 5/5😊

Home away from home

We absolutely loved staying here. It truly felt like home. The house is so spacious and the hardwood floors are beautiful! Beautiful yard and George is an absolutely excellent host ! Thank you !

Quiet, comfortable place in the country

I stayed for the week for work. This place was in a perfect location for my needs, was quiet and comfortable, and George was an excellent host. Would definitely recommend!

Country Setting

Great place for family get together. Plenty of space, toys and games. We all enjoyed the nearby farm. Our pets were welcomed.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The house was nice and spacious for all of us to spread out. George was awesome!!! - making sure everything was just right and being the perfect host. Would definitely recommend this place to families playing baseball in Cooperstown.

Absolutely lovely

My family and I loved staying at Mary’s Country Palace. There was more than enough room for everyone. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing. Close to Cooperstown for museums, shopping, and good restaurants. Would definitely recommend and plan on returning soon. Thanks, George!

Great Farmhouse Experience

This property has everything you need for a great farmhouse and family experience. Lots of amenities and you don't need to bring a thing. The house has games and supplies and lots of hidden gems.

A humble home away from home

George was an excellent host. He was very accommodating and responded promptly to any questions I had. The house is tidy, spacious and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. I love the fact that this property is pet friendly. Our fur enjoyed the nice size yard and roaming around freely. We had a wonderful time make new memories with old friends. Thank George!

Great for EVERYONE!!!!!

We had a excellent stay. George was fantastic showing us around his farm, picking fresh vegetables and giving us homemade burgers from the farm. Everything we needed was in the house. We would highly recommend this rental with lots of space for everyone. This has been our favorite VRBO rental to date, keep up the great work!!!!

A small slice of heaven in Richfield Springs

Mary's Country Palace is a beautiful home nestled in a picturesque countryside. It is so tranquil to sit on the sun porch allowing a refreshing breeze to sweep you away as you gaze at lush green pastures and cows grazing . The home is beautifully decorated and has every thing you could possibly need. George the owner is a kind,caring, generous man who does everything in his means to ensure all your needs are met. He delivered complementary fresh corn, made sure the grill was ready for use and even supplied wood in the event we wanted an make use of the fire ring.

Family event

We had a large family getting together to attend games at Cooperstown Dreams park. What a great place to stay in Richfield Springs, less than 30 minutes away. The owner George was very attentive and responded quickly to questions. He gretted us at the property and gave us a tour of the property. Lots of room for a large family to spread out. We would gladly book this again.

Quiet Country Charm

First let me say that George, the homeowner, is a very kind and generous owner. He made sure that we had all we needed for our stay. Our young grandsons had so many toys to play with that they never were bored. There is also a wonderful selection of books. We thought the lack of WiFi and cable would be a problem, but after the first day of getting use to being device free, we found it quite relaxing and the perfect time to reconnect. The sunroom was where we spent most of our time. There is something very peaceful and calming about it. The beds were all very comfortable. We were going back and forth to Cooperstown and there are several very charming towns to check out. We had a wonderful time. Thank you for your hospitality George!
