Great location!! City living with a country view. Enjoy the horse park view from the living room of this cozy, private 2 bed, 1 bath sleeps 4. Convenient to I-285 and downtown Decatur. Close to Emory, Fox Theater, Olympic park, Georgia Aquarium, the Ferris Wheel and everything Atlanta! Ponce City Market is great for shopping and dining and only minutes away. Stone Mountain Park is another Atlanta favorite and just a short drive east. Whether your vacationing, visiting family, attending events or just a break from the highway, the location is perfect for every reason to visit Atlanta. This cozy, private two bedroom home is close to everything! Private driveway with carport has plenty of space for more than one car. A small seating area is under the carport and a newly added deck added to the back of the house to enjoy all the views. Fully stocked kitchen has everything needed for preparing a meal or just reheating. Fresh towels, linens, hair dryer and some toiletries are provided. Paper towel and cleaning supplies are always available. There is a queen bed in first bedroom and a full size bed in the second bedroom. The living room has a a pull out sofa couch and a designated "dog couch". The "dog couch" is positioned for premium viewing. Watch the large tv with Roku channels, and other streaming. Pass thru room has futon type couch. The large back yard has a chain link fence 5 feet high. There is plenty of room for dogs to run. The treelined street is perfect for dog walking. Dog amenities make this better than pet friendly! The square footage of the home only allows 2 dogs and under 50lbs.
There are fees for additional pets. The horse park view from the living room is tremendous! Great established neighborhood! Enjoy your morning coffee with a pleasant view of the horse pasture and know you're just a short ride to the interstate and everything Atlanta offers! It's hard to describe the true pleasure and conveniences. Come stay and experience private city living with a country view.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. These hosts have put so much thought into this lovely home. Georgia is our home and we work out of state. This trip we discovered an area we knew nothing about. Very cool location, it was fun waking up to see the horses each morning. You are just off a main road, but it doesn’t feel like it. Clean, well equipped. Would have been great if we had brought our dog. We will look for this location whenever we come back to visit

Location is fantastic!! It was within 30 minutes of everywhere we wanted to go (aquarium, botanical gardens, etc.). The house was very clean! The backyard is large and somewhat secluded, which is very nice being so close to the city. We didn’t have a pet with us, but they were very well prepared for pets (bowls, towels, poop bags and furniture covers). The bedrooms are very nicely set up, the beds lean more towards to softer side. Also the water pressure is fantastic and the hot water lasts a long time. The location was also very safe, there were people walking with kids and pets all throughout the day! We had a fantastic time and would definitely stay here again!!

Great value two bedroom in excellent location - we walked in the quiet neighborhood every morning and had convenient access to the sites. The comfortable living room was great to host relatives.

Quiet and quant, country charm. Close to plenty of food options and conference at Emory University. Dog loved the backyard (and the local wildlife, lol). Well supplied with necessities…thank you for decent toilet paper!…and clean.

I cannot say enough good things about the property. The backyard is huge and fenced in. The hosts have thought of everything and it is has everything you need for a wonderful stay. You feel like you are n the country but you are just a couple of traffic lights away from gas, shopping and most importantly, Publix. The hosts are awesome and respond quickly. I would give more stars if possible. A

We loved our time here!! With all of the hustle in the city, there was nothing more satisfying than returning to this peaceful gem. Close to everything bit you couldn't tell when you were inside. We are coming back

My dog and I had a wonderful stay. The house was so clean and inviting. Bed was super comfortable and the fenced in backyard was perfect for traveling with my best friend. Terrific location right in Decatur, yet very peaceful. Hosts were super responsive to even my silly questions. Great value all around. I would definitely choose this property again!

All that this house had to offer is all we needed! It was definitely centrally located to all we wanted to do. Very quaint and welcoming home, loved the view of the horse farm and how quiet the area was!

This property is GREAT for traveling with pets! The fenced in back yard was big and spacious for our two dogs to run and explore. We even got to meet the neighbor's dogs on both sides and they were a delight! The house was built in the 1950's so it has some quirks like you can't turn off the kitchen light while the washer is running or the washer will turn off too...but that's what gives places like this their "charm." The location was PERFECT! You're close to everything, but the horse sanctuary across the street makes it feel like you're not "in town." Our dogs LOVED sitting on the couch and watching the horses across the street.We would DEFINITELY book this VRBO, again, should we ever find ourselves needing a place near Atlanta, GA!!!

While we are sorry about the inconvenience you experienced with the kitchen light and washer, we'd like assure our future guests the light switch is not connected to the washing machine. Our electrical panel was upgraded just last year. We wish you had let us know during your stay so we could have addressed it. We'd love to host you again anytime.

We love sharing our home since we've been able to work remotely. We work from our family home in North Georgia. We moved to Decatur six years ago because our jobs moved to Midtown/Buckhead area. The location is perfect access to city events, shows, shopping, restaurants, hospitals, universities and more. Venues holding special events like FIFA are near by. We love the conveniences of city living. We stay there between guests and take advantage of what Atlanta offers. We come to the city for concerts, parks, shopping, restaurants, work, appointments and maintenance to the house. It's a great place and close to everything!

We moved to this area for work and the conveniences of intown living. We were fortunate that we came upon this perfect little bungalow. It's a pleasure to be able to share it now. The location is perfect! The horse park view is unbeatable and your only minutes from everything Atlanta. Once you stay here you will see the beauty and conveniences that are so close by. This property is a private home with a large private back yard. Park in the driveway or under the carport. The neighborhood is settled and our neighbors are great (if you see them☺). The street is perfect for walking. The fully stocked kitchen has everything for a short or long stay. Two bedrooms provide comfy queen and full size beds. We visit between guests to attend shows, work and property maintenance. Shopping, restaurants and grocery are just around the corner. Location is perfect for visiting everything Atlanta or to take a break from the highway for a few days.

This is a classic 1954 2-bedroom home with a beautiful yard surrounded by trees. The living room looks out to a peaceful horse park. Enjoy the beauty of the pasture and know you're just short ride to everything Atlanta offers and super easy access to the interstate. Private parking in the driveway or under the carport. The private fenced back yard makes this house better than pet friendly. If you travel with your fur baby, you both will love it!
