Swim under the palms in the stunning pool with breathtaking panoramic mountain views at this spacious 2BD, 2BA home in Borrego Springs Verbena Estates. This private walled oasis is surrounded by beautiful gardens, maintained weekly and the best view of Indian Head mountain. Including gorgeous sunsets over the Santa Rosas that mimic Edgar Payne paintings.

This contemporary Southwestern-style home, designed by architect Mark Falcone, is decorated with tastefully chosen decor and art that echoes its spectacular desert location. The open-plan living area with high ceilings, walls of windows and skylights brings the light, peace and beauty of the desert all around, as you relax on the comfortable furnishings.

The open dining area's glass-top table has seating for six, or enjoy a casual meal for two at the kitchen island. The fully equipped kitchen has plenty of counter space for your culinary creations. Dine al fresco on food from the grill, on comfortable couch seating as the sun sets or walk across the street to the historic Palms Hotel for dining and cocktails. The contemporary pool is cleaned weekly and multiple patios include comfortable chaise lounges and umbrellas.

Walk on to the patio from the master bedroom, or watch TV on a cal king bed with quality linens. This room has beautiful light & views as does the en-suite bathroom with two-sink vanity, walk-in shower, and separate tub. Enjoy the sitting area in the second bedroom near a window for reading or relax on the queen-size bed. The adjacent bathroom has a step-in shower.

Conveniently located just a 2-minute drive from downtown Borrego Springs, where you can grab groceries, dine, shop, or join a tour to learn more about the desert flora and fauna. There are numerous opportunities for hiking, biking, golf, birding and off-roading. During Spring, enjoy viewing the spectacular wild flower displays throughout the area. By night, the stars find their time to shine. Borrego Springs is a member of the International Dark Sky Association and the stargazing is spectacular!

Peaceful oasis on desert edge.

Villla is move in ready. Has everyting you would want or need for a longer stay. It's clean, peaceful, visualy stunning. Privacy fence gives feeling of seclusion, heated pool enhances your senses, and one feels peace and quiet of best days to come. Truly enjoyed our stay. Host was responsive, communication prompt. Marvelous 10.

Oasis away from the crowd

This is a lovely and tastefully-decorated villa on the edge of the Anza Borrega desert park, well-furnished and equipped, very quiet setting. The dry, cool air and strong sun make a stimulating ambience, and the views are stunning. The owners are very helpful.

A slice of paradise

Everything about this villa and grounds was exquisite, yet cozy! The pool (heated, a rarity!) was divine. The area calm and tranquil. The kitchen perfectly appointed. Jeff was amazing to deal with!

Breathtaking

This is our second stay at this property and it never fails to be absolutely perfect! The views of Indian Head are breathtaking! The house and property are like coming home! The host are very welcoming and excellent at communicating to make sure our needs were met! The soft towels and sheets truly make this feel like a home instead of just a rental property! The pool is pristine and well kept! Honestly I could write a chapter and verse about the incredible host how gracious they are in offering their home to be appreciated by those who stay there! Always our first choice when in Borrego!

Exceeded Expectations

A couple in their 60’s needing to get out of Orange County coastal home for the July 4th circus! Needed peace and quiet with a pool and view and the house and beautiful views delivered. Tranquil and serene. The pool was wonderful too and stars galore. The owner was very responsive and accommodating and property manager was extremely helpful. Already planning our next stay!

Beautiful Sanctuary

The experience as seen in the photos is accurate, but it’s much more than that. This setting is hard to put in words—you must see and feel it to put the quiet and beauty in context. We loved swimming in the gorgeous pool and lounging on the patio taking in the spectacular surroundings. The home & landscape speaks to attention to detail, cleanliness comfort and care—truly a top-tier Borrego Springs home worthy of an annual pilgrimage.

Very disappointing.

Don’t fall prey to the enticing photo of the patio and pool with a Mountain View. Apparently, the pool is often nonfunctional due to rodent issues. We chose to rent the property despite it’s somewhat isolated location envisioning hours of swimming and relaxation on the patio. The pool was ice cold upon our arrival despite having paid a daily pool heating fee in advance. The property manager tried to help but it became obvious that the owner was aware of the extensive damage to the pool wiring and pump and chose not to inform us in advance if our arrival. The main door opening from the living room to the patio is also nonfunctional. The owner did refund the pool heating fee and 10% of the weekly rental but It certainly did not make up for our disappointment. There are other equally beautiful and more affordable rentals available in the area without a pool. Don’t be fooled.

A perfect stay when we needed to get away. Perfect house, property, amenities. Simply beautiful!

The home is simply but lovingly decorated with collections from the owners' family, in authentic Southwest style. The ambience is peaceful with comfortable furniture, walls of windows/doors so that one always feels close to the beauty of the natural world that surrounds: sky, mountains, desert plantings, in perfect privacy and silence. An added extra: the full moon rising on our first night as the sun went down over Indian Head .

A perfect place

This was our second stay at this wonderful place, this time in November, which was perfect. The heated pool was great during the day, enjoying cooking on the gas grill in the evening, and the stargazing at night. We love the windows in all directions with no direct neighbours, just desert all around. Plus great hikes in magical desert landscapes within minutes around the house. Looking forward to next time...

Amazing views

Walking in the door we immediately felt peaceful and calm. The house was beautiful, clean and the kitchen nicely stocked with everything we needed. There was an amazing view of Indian Head mountain from the back of the house/pool area and wonderful stargazing at night on the chaise lounges. Looking forward to a return trip!

A perfect place to stay

The desert location is stunning, remote and with lots of privacy. The house was perfect, everything as described, and the communication with Betty, the property manager, very nice, responsive and helpful. We already booked our next trip to this place.

Sanctuary

The most amazing view you will ever see in a desert home. It was so quiet and we enjoyed seeing the many birds, jack rabbits, cotton tails, chipmunks and ground squirrels. The mountains are visible from the master bedroom, living space, kitchen, and pool. We took walks every morning before the heat and lounged all day by the pool. Betty, the concierge was easy to reach and when I left my purse and wallet in a drawer she went to the house immediately and shipped it to me without skipping a beat. We will be back for sure!!!

Great location, wonderful hosts

Jeff and Julie are very nice people, very professional, friendly, helpful, responsive and gracious. We had a very nice visit. The location is peaceful and quiet with amazing mountain views. We would definitely return.

Beautiful

We had a wonderful time in Borrego, and felt very comfortable in this home. It was clean, well appointed, it had everything we needed. Although the weather wasn’t conducive to swimming, it was relaxing looking out of the water framed by the pretty mountains. The location, across from the Palms at Indian Head , was fortuitous because we could walk across the street to eat dinner at the restaurant and accommodate extra family members in the hotel. If and when I come back to Borrego Springs, I will most definitely stay here. Thank you!

Incredible peace and relaxation

Inside and out this property radiates calm and beauty. Hoberg Trail and the surroundings in the morning. The stars at night.....there are no words. The pool is clean and warm. Just wonderful.

The Absolute Best of Borrego

Private, silent, immaculate... this custom home designed by an architect as his private desert retreat must be experienced. From the chic and neutral minimalism of the the interior finishes to the stunning pool, landscaping, and western views of Palm Canyon and Indian Head, this is property deserves a sixth star. Our short, faultless stay had us wishing we could stay a month--or longer.

Supremely comfortable, well-appointed (including sugar and olive oil, always a good sign), great views, including the kind of sunrises that force you to get up so you can enjoy them. Obviously someone’s home, not just a rental revenue property, which means all sorts of nice touches. Our second time staying here, and it did not disappoint!
