Perfect stay!

This home was equal parts picturesque and comfortable. It had literally everything my family needed (and that's saying a lot with two little ones) while feeling chic. Our stay was wonderful and I'd definitely recommend the property!

Lovely, cozy beach cottage

This property had everything you need, from kitchen appliances and utensils, bathroom essentials, and beach gear! The cottage is beautiful, perfect for a relaxing beach getaway. Our group had a fantastic time, walking to the beach and up to the shops and restaurants every day.

Magical beach cottage

Stunning decor and in the perfect location on South beach. The back patio in the evening is the perfect spot to unwind with a glass of wine and good book. The beach location is quiet and the sunsets are magical. We loved literally everything about this place and will be back!

Great family weekend

Absolutely lovely weekend! Despite a rainy Memorial Day weekend the hosts were so kind and hospitable. We loved the property! Perfect layout for a family with little ones. All the details were incredible- the crib, the toys, the kid friendly plates/cutlery made this such a great stay. We’d love to visit again!

Great Beach Bungalow

The house is ranch style, nice back yard, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of beach items (wagon, chairs, body boards, sand toys, etc.), comfortable beds (particularly the master). The location is outstanding! We stayed for 2 weeks and it was a great location to make day trips to Savannah, Hilton Head, Beaufort (Loved), and Charleston. If we are back in the region, we will certainly stay here. Thank you!

All was as expected

We had a fun stay on Tybee Island. The house was clean and as expected. Location is great. Some small things need to be replaced like door mats, and the patio could use a good spray down, but that is to be expected in the summer. Overall, it was a great time for our family.

Great location Great place

What a great surprise! We have never stayed in Tybee so we were just guessing when we picked our place! It has such character and charm. The open floorplan made it nice on days when we just wanted to rest and relax but the location allowed us to walk to the beach in just a few minutes. We also walked to the pier and shops a few times. Everything is close. We would definitely choose to stay here again. 😁

Fun cottage for single family.

Very clean and well decorated. Updated baths and kitchen. Couple blocks off the beach in neighborhood great for biking. South beach is huge- 3-400 yards of sand. Only thing I did not realize was that bedroom 3 is separated by a wall with shutters and an open door. Ok if you have young children but not ideal for teens or adults. Excellent property manager. Would stay again

What a relaxing Vacation!

Our family had a perfect vacation at Tybee Island, and this property was everything we wanted and needed. This historic bungalow is tastefully decorated, with an open floor plan with kitchen and living room. The bedrooms and beds are so comfortable, I am not sure I have slept that good in years. There is ample space outside to play games, or just sit under the pergola and enjoy a good book and cup of coffee. The location is perfect, on a quiet street, steps to the beach and a short walk to the shops and restaurants. Amy is a great host, responsive and made our trip even better (Thanks for putting out the cornhole, we had several intense games). We were looking for a relaxing getaway from stress and the cold up here in Maine and this was everything and more.

Charming Cottage, Great Location

The location of this cottage was great. Steps to the beach but just outside of town so it was quiet. The cottage was charming and the couch is just as awesome as in the pictures. The kitchen was well stocked (and we cook all of our meals). The landlord was responsive and easy to get in touch with. My only “complaint” is that the master is attached to the porch room. There is no door and you have to walk through the master to get to it. If we had young children this would have been great. Since we have adult children, we opted to let them have the master and porch room and we took the other room. The shower in the other room is fabulous though so it was fine. Honestly, I think that room should be the master anyway!

Highly accessible

We loved this property! The proximity to several beach access points and the absence of stairs made us feel very close to the beach the whole time. It was very easy to get in and out so we were very comfortable exploring the island. The house is very clean and very well-maintained. We look forward to returning in the future. Amy was very friendly and appropriately engaged, she helped us feel very welcome on the island.

Cute house

We had a great stay. It was clean, lots of extras and super cute. Great location, kitchen had it all and host was great! The only drawback was the 3rd bedroom. I wish we may have known the 3rd room was basically in the other room. No privacy. We had 6 adults but needed to use the couch for enough space for us all. Would rent there again, but maybe just 4 adults not 6.

Great Experience!

We had a really positive experience! There were 2 families, 5 people total. We had plenty of room and privacy. The house was super clean (we are picky), cozy, comfortable (the beds were amazing), and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was well equipped. The house had beach paraphernalia on hand. We had purchased a wagon to transport our chairs and umbrella to the beach, but the house already had a wagon and umbrella. The neighborhood is quiet and adjacent homes are well cared for. There are 2 beach accesses approximately 1/2 block away. Very short walk. We were extremely satisfied with this house and had zero complaints. We had great communication with the owner. Just a great experience!

Delightful beach house

We had a lovely stay on Tybee Island at the James Louis house. It’s an easy walk to the beach, the house is well decorated in comfortable beach style and it had everything we needed.

EXCELLENT property for family with littles!!

This was one of the most comfortable and pleasant family vacations I’ve ever experienced. This was our first trip to the beach as a family of four (3.5 and 15 month old). From the beginning to the end of the trip, Amy was the most accommodating host! She went out of her way and provided us with a stroller and a high chair, and her cottage was already stocked with Children’s toys, a crib, and sound machine (which we didn’t realize until we got there that it was the same sound machine and mattress that we have at home 😊). This was SO nice not having to pack the car full with all of those extra bulky accessories. It was also stocked with sooo many other thoughtful, detailed extras that just made the visit feel effortless, and it made us feel totally at home!! ❤️Proximity to the beach/island businesses was fantastic. The beach wagons and toys that were provided along with the outdoor shower on the property were super convenient. We most definitely hope and plan to return to this exact cottage again one day upon our next visit to Tybee!
