Create unforgettable memories at Castaway Cabins! Family owned and managed.

Step into comfort and charm at this custom built cabin! Enter into the beautiful living room and kitchenette area. Kick back and relax on the leather sofa and enjoy your favorite show or head outside to the spacious covered outdoor patio. This shared area is a grill-master's dream! Equipped with a full outdoor kitchen, a Blackstone flat-top grill, a Pit Boss smoker and all of the tools you need to cook up something special. You'll also find a sink, TV and picnic tables to make your cookout more enjoyable.

Inside, the kitchenette includes a microwave, sink and refrigerator/freezer. One bedroom offers a queen bed for a restful night's sleep. A full bathroom with a generous shower, sink and toilet. We have the essentials covered: fresh linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap and even pre-pasted toothbrushes are provided. Extra blankets provided!

You'll find 1 lockable, covered shelter with outdoor outlets for charging batteries,

Cozy cabin indeed just as the title suggests. Spacious living area for spooling your fishing rod if need be. Great sized bathroom and very good lighting throughout the space if you want bright light or low light.

great memorial day weekend

We had a great visit here, everything was clean and comfortable. Only a short walk or drive to the lake park where they had a nice beach. Would recommend!

Great Cabin

Great people, great place, super responsive!

It was a great place to get away. Very close to Clemson and Greenville, and a great place to bring your dog as well. With of dog-friendly activities/restaurants in the area, this is a great place to set your headquarters - only a few minutes from the beach!

Great place to stay

My wife and I have rented houses all over the country for several years .This was definitely one of the best. A great relaxing and comfortable place to stay. Also amazing attention to detail on the interior and exterior of the cabins .Most definitely the cleanest place we have stayed. We have already referred to are friend's and family.

Absolute best fishing cabin you can find on Hartwell!

This cabin would be great for any stay, but perfect for fisherman. Location is right by Broyles Landing, or convenient to Clemson or the dam area. The boat shelters are a tremendous plus, so you can secure your rig for the night and recharge batteries as needed. CLEAN and comfortable. Great hosts and very accommodating.

Perfect!

This was the perfect spot for our lake getaway. We were close to the boat landing. The cabin is super cute, clean, and there are so many extras! The homeowner was very prompt to respond when we had questions. We would definitely stay again.

Parents weekend at Clemson

There was everything you could think of. The property was quiet, close and a far better price than the $600/night hotels in Clemson, and I could cook my sons favorite breakfast for his birthday! The cabin was done up in a cute motif and the bed was comfortable. We will definitely be back !

PERFECT for fishing!

Could not have been better for us! Location is great for boat launching and bait. Cabins are amazing. Grounds are great. Boat shelters are nice with electric available to charge batteries. Even if you don't fish the setup is perfect for a little family getaway. Can't say enough good things! Thanks!

Birthday Weekend

Cute cute cute!!! This cabin is soooo cute. The property and inside the cabin were spotless! There are 2 cabins here and a LARGE outdoor kitchen and 4 picnic tables in the middle. The owners provide all the outdoor cooking utensils and gear you'll need or want to have an amazing breakfast, lunch or dinner. There are lots of outdoor games and a cozy nice fire pit with chairs circling the pit. All you need to bring to these cabins are your clothing and food, because the owners have you covered with any and all cooking gear you’ll need. The cabins are so easy to find, they’re just right off the interstate. Checking in was a breeze as well as checking out. Plenty of parking, quite and you definitely feel safe in these cabins. The cabins are decorated in the coolest things. Furniture and bed is very comfy. I was so impressed to walk into the bathroom and notice that the owners had even put out new sealed toothbrushes for the guests. That gesture totally told me that the owners think of and appreciate guest staying at the cabins. The highest price hotels don’t provide or think of guest the way the cabin owners do. Deanna and Don made sure to let us know if we needed anything to just let them know. I can’t say enough good things about the owners or the cabins. What I can say is that I’ve found the perfect place to stay that’s very close to the GA/SC state lines. The lakes are so convenient to get to and wet your fishing line. When you rent the cabin, make sure you take a short trip over to Maryland’s Chicken for a delicious country style breakfast!!! Yummy, biscuits were cat head size so you’ll be full and glad you ate there. I can’t wait to go back and book one of these cabins. Believe me, Deanna and Don are wonderful people and I very much appreciate how great they were at communicating with me and making my birthday weekend a blast. I will DEFINITELY rent these cabins from Deanna and Don again. I could live in those cabins and be so happy!!! Thank you Deanna and Don (my cast iron friends, Lol) for the amazing hospitality and sharing your piece of Heaven right here on earth. I look forward to the next time. See you soon!!!

Anfitrión: Don and Deanna Burns

We are Don and Deanna Burns from Townville, SC and have lived here all of our lives. Don is an avid hunter & fisherman and had the great idea of building cabins for folks that would like to visit Hartwell lake and have a secure boat storage.

We reside in Townville just 2 miles away. Don is a poultry farmer and Deanna is retired from Clemson University. We have two adult children and one precious grandson.

We chose the neighborhood to build our cabins in because it's in an ideal location. It's within walking distance to Lake Hartwell and just 1/4 mile to the nearest and largest boat ramp, Broyle's Landing. It's also just 5 miles to Green Pond landing, where the majority of fishing tournaments are held. Just 15 miles to Clemson and Anderson.

We chose the location for the cabin because it is so close to two of the busiest boat landings on Lake Hartwell, Broyle's Landing and Green Pond. We knew that it would be the perfect lodging for out of town guests to have somewhere safe and comfortable to lay their head down at night after a long day of fishing/boating and not to have to worry about their boat and gear while sleeping. The location is perfect for those Clemson fans to relax after a full day of cheering on those Tigers!
