50th Wedding Anniversary Family Gathering Rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely home. The location was great especially since our celebration/vow renewal was at Irish Eyes. We were very comfortable. The house is spacious enough to allow the 12 of us to gather together or spread out as needed. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything needed for meal preparation. Loved having plenty of parking. The outdoor space with all the decks & furniture was terrific. Enjoyed watching the sunrises and sunsets from the decks. Having the elevator was a big plus since we had folks in their 70s with mobility issues. We weren’t really thrilled with having to strip beds, etc before checking out especially considering what we paid for the rental & lol men service. We Also, I think it’s odd that the comforters don’t get washed as well. Can’t help but wonder when they were last cleaned - creeped us out a bit.

Amazing house and location

We loved this house! It had so much living space for our large group. Honestly the only thing I would change it the location of the outdoor shower in the back or at least put some pavers leading to it. Otherwise this was perfect.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our second time here. Great setup for all of the kids and grandkids. Great location/short walk to the beach. Owner was fantastic -after a big storm, the internet and tv and speaker system went out. It was a complicated setup. Owner drove 3+ hours and spent an hour+ getting it to work. Great service.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is outstanding! The homeowners paid close attention to every detail to make sure that comfort and convenience were top priorities. PenFed Realty should be proud of their housekeeping services - the home was completely spotless upon arrival. And the homeowner to their valuable time to help us with a minor issue we had with the televisions. We absolutely loved everything and will be back!!!

Beautiful Stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was great! Perfect for multiple families and plenty of areas to relax and let the kids play. The kitchen is fantastic and well stocked. Mike the owner was an amazing host! He was super responsive and helped us with our wifi problem for the baby monitor. They were even so sweet and left a welcome gift. It was a quick walk to the beach (if coming with grandparents be prepared for a hill from the sand dunes, we rented a beach wheel chair which helped!). The point of access to the beach has a really great sandbar and during low tide it was so much fun for the toddlers to play in the little pools that formed. The top screened in deck offered a great spot for watching the sunset. The second floor porch had a relaxing breeze and was my favorite spot to relax. Thank you guys for a wonderful vacation!

Thank you so much for this wonderful and detailed review! We're absolutely thrilled to hear that our home was the perfect place for your family beach vacation. It's fantastic to know you found plenty of space for everyone to relax and play, and that you enjoyed the kitchen and other amenities. We truly appreciate your kind words about Mike. We work hard to be responsive and provide the best possible experience for our guests, and it means a lot to hear that his help with the baby monitor and the welcome gift were so appreciated. We love that you found so many great spots to enjoy, from the relaxing breezes on the second-floor porch to the amazing sunsets on the top deck. It’s also great to know that the little pools at the sandbar were a hit with the toddlers! Thank you for your helpful note about the hill and the beach wheelchair. That's a great tip for future guests and we appreciate you sharing it. We can't wait to welcome you back again for another great vacation! Lewes Rental Team

Extraordinary Home!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is WOW from the curb appeal, to the separate garages, to the elevator, to the separate living areas. Fell in love with the kitchen's huge island and dual sinks! There were a lot of us but we were not on top of one another. The kids took over the second floor while the adults chilled on the top floor. Management was very responsive! R & L Liquors is a short drive away is a must if you want to try new drinks and entertain! Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer! We didn't get to enjoy the perks of the bicycles and beach gear, but this house is a must if u want to just have a stay-cation with the family!

Great stay for families

We loved that there were two gathering places. The middle floor coffee table always had a puzzle in place for those that wanted. The upper level was a gathering for dining on the screened in porch with ceiling fan and games. Several different decks for getting away to read or as we were there during July 4th for fireworks. Both front and back decks (Lewes and Rehoboth) The beach is an easy walk from the property but the sand dune to climb and carry beach stuff was challenging for most of us. But doable. The kitchen had everything you could want, but when baking the dessert while watching 4th of July, I could never get the bottom rack of oven at 400 degrees. So we had to have it the next day baked in the microwave/convection. Apparently the top rack is fine in the oven. We had difficulties with a lot of the high techness of the property. Probably too high tech for a different renter each week. But we were able to figure things out after a few days and then it was smooth sailing. I would highly recommend this property.

Even though the weather was not great, the house was so fantastic, we didn't care that we were in the house the whole time. There is literally a nook for everyone. Beautiful property

This rental property is a gem! The location is perfect if you are seeking walking distance to the beach coupled with the many accommodations of this property. Three beautiful levels including a spacious (and well stocked) kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and screened-in porches are to be enjoyed rain or shine. The elevator makes packing and unpacking less stressful! Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful home - beautiful decks

Beautiful home with beautiful decks. Was a really peaceful retreat in a lovely quiet beachy neighborhood. The area was lovely - one block walk to a mostly empty beach. The decks at the back of the house were even better than in the photos - overlooking the marsh. Really can't fault the home. My only complaint is there was a hidden fee that the property manager added for pets. Additional fees if you want linens.
