Charming Carpinteria Family Beach House

Thank you for your review and for highlighting the many things you enjoyed about the house, including its location, cleanliness, spacious kitchen, TV room, beach equipment, and outdoor shower. We’re glad you had an enjoyable stay overall. We are sorry that the unusually warm weather during your visit made the upstairs less comfortable. As noted clearly in our VRBO listing, however, the home does not have air-conditioning. This is fairly typical of beach homes in Carpinteria, particularly those located close to the ocean, where temperatures are generally moderate and coastal breezes are common. We do provide floor fans throughout the home to help with airflow and comfort. We always encourage guests to carefully review the amenities and property details in our listing before booking, particularly if air-conditioning is an essential requirement. We appreciate your feedback and are pleased that, aside from this issue, you described the home as a great base for your week in Carpinteria. As a Premier Host, this is only the second time we have not received a 5 STAR rating in the past 8 years.

Very disappointed with the 4 Star review siting TV was not user friendly. We provided the following detailed instructions and they are also in the house. At no time did Linda reach out with any questions about how to operate the tv's.
