This 3-bedroom home is a great place to get away and relax or as a home base for your tour of historic Lancaster County. It is located minutes from Hershey Park, Lancaster County tourist spots and the Spooky Nook Sports complex (home of the US Women’s Field Hockey team) yet apart from all the traffic on a quiet rural street close to Siegrist Mill covered bridge.

Built on the foundation of an old grist mill, the home provides history and charm. Fall asleep to the sound of the mill race right outside your bedroom window. Spend the day watching birds from the sun porch or just enjoying life while watching the creek and its variety of wildlife from the front porch.

Beautiful setting, easy access to area attractions, comfortable beds.Main issue was a millipede infestation. We killed over 100 inside the house in four days. They were in every room, with a few in the sink, bathtub and shower.If you don't mind bugs, you could probably enjoy your stay there but if you are not a fan of insects, this is not the place for you.

Sorry you arrived at just the wrong time. We had sprayed 2 weeks before the outbreak and have since treated everywhere again. Our new service has everything under control.

The cabin was very nice. If you want peace and quiet then this cabin is for you. It was clean and had all the amenities you needed. The host was very prompt in getting back to me when i had a question. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend this cabin to anyone who is visiting lancaster, pa.

The location of this house was absolutely perfect. We were able to get to Hershey and the area surrounding Lancaster so easily. We loved all of the train features in Strasburg and found a cool game shop in Mt. Joy! The house itself met what we needed. We struggled to find a couple things in the kitchen but ultimately made do just fine cooking a meal. Our kids loved the bunk bed in the one bedroom! The family area is nice and cozy. The main issue we had was the number of bugs, both dead and alive. I'm not expecting to find zero bugs in an older property, especially being surrounded by trees and the stream, but it was slightly excessive even for us. Though our 2 year old son enjoyed picking some up and bringing them outside! Aside from that it was a nice stay.

Sorry for the bugs. We were in the middle of dealing with a centipede swarm. Things are now back to normal and hopefully it is now behind us. It is sometimes a battle being next to a creek in the summer.

Was back in PA for a wedding and found this gem. Please understand this is a rustic style cabin and is in a great location on a very quiet road. We were able to walk to the covered bridge and saw many horse and buggies cruising past. The inside is just like a visit to your older grandparents house. Nothing fancy, but we were not looking for fancy so it was great for us. The cabin was spacious and we truly enjoyed having the full kitchen and 2 bathrooms

Absolutely beautiful setting with the calm creek, birds, ducks, and Bald Eagles! The log cabin is quality solid and very clean. Cozy warm on an extremely cold weekend. We had everything we might need to spend a relaxing weekend together. We'll be back!

Our host Kathy is very communicative and replies promptly to any inquires. The house is exactly as represented. It is on a quiet country road convenient to Lancaster and all the surrounding areas. This was our second stay and we have no complaints.

Quiet, lovely stay. This place is great as a homebase for a stay in the area. It is a little dated but everything works, it is clean, roomy, and comfortable. The host is very responsive, check in and out is easy. Highly recommend.
