Beautiful riverfront home surrounded by Amish farms in Lancaster

Discover Eagle's Branch River House, the perfect secluded riverfront perch to enjoy the sights and beauty of Lancaster farm country. Our three bedroom, two bath spacious home is ideally suited for a relaxing getaway with family or friends. It has a 'cabin' feel with modern amenities and is beautifully furnished. Three levels with master bedroom suite with its own private wraparound deck, modern kitchen, expansive rec room with river views, and multi-tier decks overlooking the river and surrounding Amish farms.

On a quiet gravel lane, you won't find a better place to unwind in the heart of Amish country! The Conestoga River is a designated water trail and popular for canoeing, kayaking, fishing and wildlife viewing. Our home provides convenient river access on a beautiful stretch of the Conestoga between the historic Bushong Mill and the famous Pinetown and Hunsecker's Mill Covered Bridges.

Most guests enjoy relaxing to the sound of the river rapids, but amenities include large-screen TVs, Wi-Fi and a Weber grill. Quiet and peaceful yet a quick 10 minutes to downtown Lancaster, farmers markets and all the sights and activities.

Also a short drive to many other attractions including Hersheypark, Dutch Wonderland, the historic Fulton Theatre, American Music Theatre, Sight & Sound, Cherry Crest Adventure Farm, Longwood Gardens, Strasburg Rail Road, historic Ephrata Cloister, Susquehanna River and much more.

For families: we have a pack-n-play with mattress included, high chair, books/toys and stroller available for guest use. Older kids (and adults) will love the foosball table and large screen TVs in the rec room!

Take advantage of our one-of-a-kind setting: we have two bikes for guests to explore Lancaster's winding farm roads and rolling hills, a private rustic trail through the woods along the river to one of Lancaster County's famous covered bridges, or you can walk from the house across the Amish farm path to see cows and horses. Evenings are great for enjoying complimentary s'mores or relaxing in the hammock by our riverside fire pit.

Have kayaks or canoes to bring along? There's a wonderful 90-minute paddle route that leaves from the house, passing two covered bridges, an eagle's nest and beautiful farms and homes.

Above all, this is a place to unwind, disconnect and recharge as you explore the sights of Lancaster County.

LOVED IT!!

This was hidden gem, close to all the area has to offer, with the added bonus of being in the center of farm country AND on the water! Can’t say enough about our stay and afternoon cocktails on the deck overlooking the river. We look forward to the opportunity to return!

lodging for a family wedding

We had a wonderful time at the Eagle's Nest! We needed a place to stay that was close to the wedding venue, and this place was conveniently located, far away from any traffic congestion and it was very cozy. We loved the picturesque location along the river, and my husband and I hiked the river walk and saw both eagles and herons. The Christmas decor was cute and there were a lot of homey touches that we really appreciated. It was a great place to relax and reconnect with family that we don't see too often, and we all agreed it would be a great place to return to in the future.

Girls trip

We stayed here for a girls trip, 3 sisters 1 niece. The Eagles Branch was very well kept, convenient but off the busy roads, very nice place to stay, we would stay again! The house managers left us a beautiful card and some sweet treats!

Bird in Hand cabin

This place was amazing. The owner of this property sure knew how to make us feel so comfortable! Beautiful and inviting. Everything was furnished beyond any expectations. Upon arriving as we walked into the home, was a lovely handwritten note along with some fresh baked goods. Plenty of notes and information about the area. The home was sparkling clean, beautifully furnished and the river and area were so calming and relaxing. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I most highly recommend!

Mom and Daughter Weekend

Mom and I arrived Thursday and stayed until Sunday. We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend in this beautiful and centrally located home. We went to the Wolf Sanctuary in Lititz. We also went to the Strasbourg Railroad for a haunted tour and did lots of shopping. Thank you Ginny and Jack for your hospitality.

Amazing second vacation here

We loved coming back a second time. Everything about this house is great !!! We loved relaxing on the hammock and fishing on the river. We did so much while we were here - highly recommend Cherry Crest Farms and Shady Maple buffet. We saw some awesome birds on the river and saw the super moon. The sunset views were my favorite. Thanks again for letting us create amazing memories!!!!

Charming river retreat

Three friends got together for a girls weekend antiquing and it was just as charming as we hoped it'd be. The show stopper here is definitely the multi-level deck overlooking the river and the beautiful surrounding farms. Thoughtful touches from the hosts like a walnut bread and coffee, handwritten card, and all the supplies for making smores. Short drive to restaurants in downtown Lancaster. Highly recommend Passenger for coffee, the fresh pretzels at the farmers market downtown on Sat. morning, and tubing at Sickman's Mill. Would stay again!

Peace and Tranquility

The experience at this cabin home was amazing! My family and I had such a great exerience. The river was also beautiful and tons of fun for the kids and adults alike. We ñook forward to returning soon!

This house is a gem

A true gem hidden among the Amish fields and surrounded by nature. The house is very clean, with a very well stocked kitchen, we only had to buy food. The property is actually located on the river bank, so you can enjoy beautiful views from the elaborated deck. A lot of places to sit and enjoy every meal, so we basically didn't eat inside :) Blue Heron flying around was a nice addition, too. There is a lot of places to go around, and everything is conveniently located nearby, starting with a Oregon Diary Market and ending with the gas station. We enjoyed a trip to the nearby Amish village - you can by a tons of nice stuff there :) The housekeepers are super friendly and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised by the personalized welcome, delicious cookies and a welcome letter as well. We really recommend this property to everyone. The Rogala Family

Fun by the river

Our family stayed 2 nights after a trip to Hershey Park. We wanted somewhere next to a river because our boys love to look for creatures in the river. It was the perfect spot, we played in the river and did some tubing too. The boys loved the game room and deck.

Ladies Greenhouse Weekend

Three friends spent the weekend plant and flower shopping. We enjoyed Gracies on West Main for breakfast every morning and had a wonderful dinner at Osteria Avante in Leola. The house is lovely and well equipped, nicely landscaped and in a beautiful location. We enjoyewd the decks when the weather allowed. We look forward to another visit next year.

Wonderful setting & home for ladies’ weekend!

The house was so cozy and welcoming. We walked in to see sticky buns on the kitchen table, freshly cut lilacs in a vase, and a lovely note from the property managers. We continued to the big picture window at the back of the house to peek at the river and right there sat a bald eagle! We found its nest nearby the next day. Spent lots of time around the fire pit by the water, enjoying the variety of birds and drinking Lancaster coffee that was provided for us in the kitchen. Peaceful, relaxing, near lots of things to do. Enjoyed Gracie’s for breakfast and Fox Meadow Creamery for ice cream samplers, and found two covered bridges close by. We hope to come back for another ladies’ weekend!!

There aren't many homes on the river and you can feel yourself relax as soon as you turn onto the private gravel lane. The deck overlooking the rapids is our favorite place to spend a lazy morning. We love being in the heart of Lancaster County and surrounded by Amish farms.
