Great property and location!

We stayed at the house for four nights. It is super nice with great appliances and comfortable furniture. Pool and property were beautiful. We even got to see a jackrabbit every morning :) Super awesome location. Secluded but close to town. We had a great time! Highly recommend.

A relaxing haven

Stayed for just a couple of nights but wished it could have been longer. The property was super well equipped and had absolutely everything we needed. The bedroom layout gave great privacy for adult couples sharing and the proximity to Healdsburg was perfect. Really exceptional - we will be back!

A wonderful stay at Casa Chiquita!

This home was perfect for our visit to wine country. So comfortable, nicely appointed and clean. The layout gave us our own space to relax. The kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy a lovely dinner at the home. We definitely recommend Casa Chiquita and. Healdsburg.

Gorgeous property and home

One of the best properties of the dozens we have stayed at. Gorgeous property on a large quiet lot on the edge of town. The pool was clean and deep with a large sitting area, outdoor kitchen area, hot tub, and nice landscaping. The home was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Rooms were large and well laid out. Easy quick access to town, shops, great restaurants, and wineries.

Great property.

Great property. Great outside space. Well stocked kitchen. Only downside was pool was cold and filked with debris. Really not swimmable.

Hello Laurine, Thank you for taking time to let us know about your stay. This is Kert P, the owner of the home. I stayed at Casa Chiquita for several days, just prior to your arrival. The two very large olive trees at the end of the pool were in full bloom. I skimmed the top of the pool several times a day because the small flowers constantly blew in. Because of the rains early in the season, the trees had literally billions of blooms. They completely overwhelmed the skimmers. I am sorry it impacted your use of the pool. Fortunately, the flowers are gone now. The pool has begun to warm up because the days are warmer as well. Once again, we apologize this impacted your stay and look forward to you visiting once again in the future.

Fantastic!

The owners were so kind and willing to work with us when we had a family emergency. Luckily, we did not have to change plans and were able to enjoy the beautiful house. The kids had a blast in the pool--the outdoor space was amazing! We had frequent visits to Plank, a great coffee shop a couple of miles away. Healdsburg is only a short 10 minute drive away. Would definitely stay here again!

The beds were so cozy, heated floors in the bathrooms for chilly mornings and a stocked kitchen to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. The location is great, private but close to town and Bid John's grocery. The outside area is so nice, unfortunately too cold to get in the hot tub or pool. We would definitely return and recommend to our friends.

Wonderful escape

We had a wonderful stay! First of all as others have commented, the home is beautifully and comfortably decorated. Truly lovely. All that you need is provided including lovely smelling hand soap and lotion! These small touches really make staying at casa Chiquita feel like a relaxing escape. The pool and outdoor area are perfect for lazy days and early evening cooking. Also the loungers, umbrellas, chairs all high quality and beautifully decorated. That coupled with the really nicely done landscaping contribute to feel you truly are at a retreat. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need and dining options in the dining room or wonderful outdoor covered table are perfect. It was quite warm -98 degrees- the weekend we were there and the house did get pretty warm which we discussed with the property team who were very responsive to try and resolve. We look forward to returning again to this property and just loved it!!

This home is exceptionally well maintained, has high end furnishings and the kitchen is equipped for a chef. We cannot say enough good things about this home… my personal favorite the excellent mattresses!Thank you for hosting us. We hope to return again.

Fully furnished in the living spaces inside and outside for everything we could need. Close proximity from the down, and freeway, yet it felt VERY private and remote from the business. The home was immaculate and beautifully decorated with high quality furnishings and all of the amenities you could possibly need in the kitchen and bathrooms. The outdoor space was truly an extension of the home. We spent as much time as we could out there. The bedroom layout was perfect and offered great privacy for 3 couples. The home is in a great location with 100+ wineries within a 15 minute radius. The property mgmt company/owners were very responsive. We didn't have any issues with checkin/out or during our stay. Downtown Healdsburg is a short 5-10 minute drive with lots of shopping and great restaurants. Definitely one of the nicest VRBOs we've stayed in. We hope to be back!

2/10 Terrible

An experience to forget but not forgive

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Casa Chiquita at multiple occasion had a pleasant experience in the past but this last stay has been a fiasco of biblical proportion. First the day before our arrival we found out that construction and expansion in the pool area was going to take place which involves extensive wood cutting , drilling and hammering so a lot of noise and workers in full view) without for us to be aware or notify so. After speaking with Shantee that day she reached out to the owners to let them know that this was not acceptable and that the work could not fo on wheels we were here . Further more this house is rented with pool and spa access and use which was not possible with all the lumber and equipment stored so we were not able to have full use of the property.The main sliding door lock is broken and either the property management is as not aware or simply was not honest about it since a bar is as placed in the glide to attempt to keep the door closed and secure, however the bar was too short and anyone could slide the door 1 to 2 inches , lift it into the top glide and remove it to enter the house, or with a screw driver or a metal bar pry it open, therefore leaving the property unsecured and unsafe. When all of this was mentioned we got a lot of excuses and run around and the answer kept coming up that this is very safe area.... A very irresponsible attempt to answer for an unsecured house.Kitchen appliances have been non operable and this is not new.The worse part is how this was handled making us , the guests feel that we were in the wrong and exaggerating the situation. Safety and comfort to The guest should and must be a priority for the owners and management company. although a proper length bar was provided 3 days later after much insistance, since the door does not have a working latch into the wall it can still be lift vertically to open. We stayed 4 nights and the issues were not remedied for 3 days, and the lock wasStill not repaired
