This comfy home is conveniently located in the flat of the Kings Beach grid. Stay just 3 blocks from sandy Kings Beach and only 8 miles from Northstar Ski Resort.
Several restaurants are within walking distance with Safeway nearby if you prefer to cook in the fully stocked kitchen with gas range. The TART stop is close if you want to leave your car in the large garage space to head to the slopes or casinos. Golf, mountain bike and hiking trails, zip lining courses, water sport rentals, several ski resorts, sledding hills, ice skating, snow mobile tours, casinos, shopping, nail spa, boat launch, rafting, fishing, equestrian trails, and the beautiful beach are all just minutes away.
Stay in to enjoy grilling on the deck or in the backyard, WiFi, 55" TV/cable with DVD player, music or relaxing in the large hot tub. Delight in dining around the beautiful, locally crafted, live edge, pine table that easily seats 8. You can sit with a drink in hand on the 2nd story deck around the gas fire table. Open living space connects the kitchen, living and dining space to the south facing wall of windows. Central to it all is a bar wrapped by 4 tall stools.
Top quality linens, master suit robes, and comfortable beds will spoil you. Enjoy the tranquility you find in each of the thoughtfully decorated rooms.
Parking can easily accommodate 4 cars. Boat or trailer can fit in the driveway. There is snow removal in winter for your convenience. Additional amenities such as a wagon for hauling the provided beach towels and cooler to Lake Tahoe's Kings Beach are included in your stay for your enjoyment.
Although not childproof, the home welcomes youngsters with plastic dishes and full size baths to clean up before bed.
Limitations:
Please be aware that several stairs lead to the front door and living space.
The owner has a dog that visits; therefore, people with severe pet allergies may not be suited for this home.
Cabinets containing cleaning supplies are not locked and therefore accessible to little ones.

The best place to stay in Tahoe!

Everything was beautiful. The layout of the cabin is great for families and friends. The hot tub has a great view of the trees and snow. The outdoor fire pit helped us stay warm when hanging out on the balcony. The kitchen was clean and stocked with dish ware and cook ware. They were even kind enough to leave a welcome basket filled with goodies. The bathrooms were stocked with everything you could need. Our room came with robes and a plethora of cozy blankets. The beds were so comfortable. And the living room came stocked with streaming services, board games, movies, etc. it’s also only an 4 minute walk to the lake. Overall we highly recommend staying here. It was the best birthday weekend I could’ve asked for.

Over and Above

This property is lovely, they go over and above for guests experience down to folded towels and guest robes. Our favorite part was the hot tub after a long day of skiing & snowboarding. We will be back! Thank you Tara, you’re amazing!

A definite must in Kings Beach

A Beautiful modern house , with a cozy cabin like feel. The house was nicely appointed with a rustic old world craftsmanship furniture and breathtaking Tahoe art in every room. The Best feature was how fully stocked the house was. From kayaks and beach gear to kitchen wear. Place was all set up for you to cook a great meal.

Fantastic home for family vacation

We stayed here in August with a family of adults and kids. Tara is very thoughtful and the house has everything you need for a beach vacation - beach towels, chairs, umbrella, coolers, wagon, kayak and paddleboard, and even sand toys. The house was clean, had plenty of extra linens, and a lot of thoughtful little touches. Tara was prompt and clear with communication and an excellent host.

Absolutely perfect!

This place was amazing. Our family of four was so comfortable with the space, cleanliness, location, supplies, etc! Literally every creature comfort is present in this home. A perfect location for exploring the Lake Tahoe area, very comfortable beds, family hang-out areas, laundry, and even beach towels and supplies if you need them! Tara has thought of everything, including some welcome snacks and a lovely bottle of wine. Could not have been ANY better! Will definitely stay again if/when we get to visit Lake Tahoe in the future. Highly recommend!

Weekend getaway

Very nice home we had a nice time. The only thing I didn't like is that there is cameras in the front of the house and garage and they are constantly monitoring them. To the point it felt uncomfortable, it made me feel like there may be more in the home that we don't know about. And I say this because I had the garage open and some lost dogs accidentally came in and I had to scare them away and immediately I get a text that there are no dogs allowed. That's when I knew we were being watched.

Beautiful home close to everything you need!

We had a wonderful time staying at the cabin. The layout was perfect for us to be able to spend time together on the main floor while doing different activities. We walked to the beach and playground just a couple blocks away, enjoyed the hot tub everyday, and had fun playing the snow outside. They had everything we needed to cook, relax, sleep, do laundry, etc.. We would love to book again!

Exceeded our expectations, will gladly stay again

I have never stayed in such a well-equipped and well-supplied vacation rental before, and the little things really do matter. We are grateful for such a kind and thoughtful host. We wanted a property in Kings Beach. After vacationing here for nearly two decades, this is our favorite town around Lake Tahoe. The vibe is chill and it is so close to everything we love. The open floor space makes it comfortable for everyone to enjoy relaxing together.

We walk to the beach most mornings and evenings- even in the winter- to check out the most beautiful view on earth (in our opinion). Having an open living space to share time with our family and friends is very important to us. And, with a garage, no worries about being buried in snow.
