Fairytale cottage in Chickamauga, GA

This beautiful, recently renovated, fairy-tale cottage is located in Chickamauga, GA, near the National Battlefield and convenient to Chattanooga, TN. Located in a charming small town, with boutique shops and several great places to eat, it is also only 12 miles (or 25 minutes) to downtown Chattanooga, where you can enjoy many family/tourist activities (including Rock City and Ruby Falls!) and FABULOUS restaurants! The cottage can sleep several, and is great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

The space

This is truly a storybook/fairy-tale cottage and decorated with loving attention to detail! It even has a spinning wheel!
It has a small kitchen, small dining area , 2 nice decks and a front porch, and a campfire pit . It has a bedroom downstairs with a full bed, a fold out bed in the, living room with flat screen tv w/cable, luxurious bathroom with vintage claw-foot tub and separate shower, upstairs has a bedroom with 2 twin beds and a 1/2 bath across the hall from the another bedroom that has 2 full-size , built in captain beds. The stairs going upstairs are a bit steep, but good handrails and a gate (that latches) at the top.

If the barn isn't occupied/rented, you are welcome to walk down to the renovated, event barn and visit the goats and miniature horse.

Interaction with guests

Someone from our family is always around our 40 acre farm adjacent to the cottage property. We are all very happy to have guests in the cottage - please let us know if you have any questions or if we can help you in any way!

Other things to note

The fairy tale cottage is incredibly special! We put precious items inside to share with you during your stay and ask that you are careful with all of the treasures. We do welcome well-behaved children and are so glad for them to visit this magical place, and they LOVE the cottage, but be aware there are items that are very tempting to little ones that aren’t to be played with, so you may have to move some things out of harm’s way if needed! The cottage has multiple levels and also has a fairly steep set of stairs – so is not be ideal for babies or busy toddlers: younger guests will need help and a close eye!

This was such a fun, cute and cozy place to stay. The imagination put into the decorating theme of the whole cottage was wonderful. The property surrounding the cottage was beautiful with a very nice trail for a relaxing walk.

Very cute little cottage. We had fun trying to guess the theme of each room. Heads up, the road there is a bit scary to drive, especially in the dark/rain so be alert. Yard was beautiful- quiet and peaceful area.

The cottage was the cutest place I’ve ever stayed and felt so welcoming. I loved the theme and how comfortable the house was. The host was so easy to communicate with.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything in the cottage is so thoughtfully placed, creating a unique getaway from everyday life. Communication with the host was prompt, courteous and helpful.

Place is really cool and unique. There are actually a lot more and better pictures on the "other" platform to get a better idea of the place. Be aware if you are older, the king is on a platform, so you kind of roll/crawl out of it... but worth it for the atmosphere of the master. All the decorations were tasteful and not overly over-the-top, which I liked. Kids, especially little girls I would think would love the upstairs. Great house. She has several other themed house I want to try as well on the property.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was fun and very eclectic, with lots of character, and it was exceptionally clean. Check-in was easy and communication with the host was great. We only stayed one night while in town for a baby shower, but it was comfortable and exactly what we needed.

This stay was truly magical. The scavenger hunt was extra special. The kids loved it and loved getting to feed and pet the goats and horse. So much time and thought was put into this property and it shows.

This cottage was amazing, definitely fitting the fantasy/Harry Potter theme. Mood throughout the place with dim lights and decor to match. Not a complaint about the cabin but be aware Chickamauga basically shuts down at 6pm during the week.

Fantastic house on a farm with other themed houses. The house was so cozy and there was plenty of room for the family. The goats, mini horse, owl barn and shop was a nice touch too. Loved exploring the property as well.

Not as seen in photos! Pics make the place seem like a cute little themed cottage with plenty of natural light and tasteful decorations. The place was cramped and overdone with stuff, had towels and other non-curtain fabric hanging on windows. Had an overpowering scent of mildew. Everything we took into the house smells terrible now and has to be washed ASAP.

We had a wonderful, magical stay! I highly recommend this cottage. The entire farm is a welcome escape from the world. Every detail is carefully curated and arranged with thoughtfulness and attention to detail. You will not regret your stay here.

Such a charming place! We enjoyed our weekend there. The kitchen isn’t a full size, and the cooking pans were limited, but it was a lovely house and farm area! We loved walking the property and exploring!
