Lone Star Cabin No. 5 is located just 5 ½ miles east of downtown Fredericksburg on US Hwy 290 right in the middle of a number of special destination points. The Cabin is approximately 900 square feet in size with a large Primary Bedroom, King size bed & closet, and large bathroom. The floor plan includes a living room, kitchen Island with seating and full kitchen (open concept). There is a smart TV in the living room. The Cabin has a front and back covered porch areas with rocking chairs.

Great getaway

This is our 3rd time to stay here. Highly recommended. Quiet and nestled in the trees. Very clean and comfortable property giving you a great escape

Great weekend

This was the perfect place for us to stay for a couple of nights. Cabin was as advertised. Host was quick to communicate.

One of the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at

We were really impressed with the lovely cabin- it was just as pretty, well decorated and comfortable as the pictures showed. And the dishes, utensils and kitchen supplies were even really nice (not like in some rentals where they are just cheap and don’t match). The manager was very friendly and helpful. These people went all out to make this vacation spot a home away from home. One of the best VRBO (and VERY clean too!) we’ve ever stayed at. Definitely would return :)

Perfect

We have stayed here 3 times. Never disappointed. Close to town and a ton of wineries. Directly across from the brewery is a great plus too. We will continue to stay here when we come to town. Everything is always in tip top shape and very clean/organized.

Comfortable Lodging

We enjoyed our stay in Fredericksburg and found the cabin comfortable and quiet. It’s in a great location and the decor/bed was very modern. Our only recommendation is to update the kitchen amenities. If you intend to cook, be aware that the spices/oils are very limited and the kitchen lacked some basic items, including a can opener (it was broken), no trash bags, salt/pepper, no Kleenex, and no foil/Saran wrap. I don’t mind buying some items and contribute to the greater good for all guests, but some of these items should be a requirement for a furnished VRBO rental. Otherwise, a lovely stay and I would recommend the cabin!

Excellent last minute stay!

The cabin is super cute, modern, and updated. Everything was comfortable and the cabin is conveniently located to numerous wineries and a brewery.

All was great. Hot water heater stopped working Saturday evening. Couldn’t get the breaker panel open to check the breaker. Was no big deal.

Great Host and Beautiful Cabin

We had a great trip to the Fredericksburg area over Memorial Day weekend. The host was wonderful and communication was very good and check-in was very easy! The location of the cabin was perfect for all the things we wanted to do in the area. The cabin was beautiful and comfortable for a couple and we enjoyed sitting out in the mornings and evenings on the back porch watching the cows and calves in the adjoining pasture and listening to the birds. We will definitely stay here again as we come at least once a year to this area for long weekend get always!

Lovely Property

Fantastic long weekend getaway! The location was perfect and very quiet. Cabin is great and well appointed. Ideal for a couple. Enjoyed sitting out on the back patio watching the cows in the field and multiple kinds of birds. Truly a much needed timeout!

Cabin was great!

Perfect location near several winery’s and the brewery. Was worried about privacy with other cabins when we booked it, but wasn’t an issue at all. Very clean, as described! Recommend
