Riverside Retreat with River Access and Stunning views!

If peace, solitude and splendid relaxation is what you yearn for, this is the place! Riverside Retreat is a gorgeous cabin located in Stonewall, TX an easy 14 mile drive from Fredericksburg. This stunning 2 bedroom 2.5 bath cabin is situated along the Pedernales River and has all the comforts of home; including a full kitchen, 3 TVs (50" in living room, 40" in bedrooms) satellite channels and WiFi. The downstairs master bedroom features a king size bed and en-suite bath with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom upstairs also has a King size bed, and en-suite bath with a tub/shower combo. The upstairs loft offers a comfortable futon that sleeps 2, (please note upstairs loft is only accessible through bedroom). Plenty of room for a group of up to 6! Riverside Retreat's remote location, access to the waterfront, comfortable accommodations along with proximity to conveniences provide a unique experience - a little piece of "Heaven on Earth!"
Please Note: Firewood is not provided, ​​​​​​​Spa is serviced on Tuesdays and Lawn is serviced on Wednesdays

​​​​​​​Please Note: You are renting a cabin in the Hill Country which means you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Racoons, ETC) Please be aware of your surroundings, and take caution while driving at night. You may also encounter the various bugs, spiders, scorpions and mice that live in the country AND sometimes do make their way inside. All properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee no pests or bugs will not be visible.

We loved our stay!

Perfect for a weekend getaway. That back porch sitting was the best, screened in with no worry of bugs. The view of the river and the quietness was so relaxing. Only 13 minutes to Fredericksburg.

So convenient to all of the Hill Country

The house is lovely. Perfect for a couple, two couples or even a girl trip with areas for some alone time if needed. Master bedroom /bath is spacious and has plenty of storage (not usually found in most rentals)! 2 1/2 baths so no waiting! Screened in porch with view of the river. Watching the birds and squirrels playing in the trees while eating breakfast on the porch was a nice way to start the day. While there isn't much in Stonewall, there are numerous restaurants and activities within a short drive and it's only a little over an hour to San Antonio for a nice day trip. If in Johnson City try The Jittery Biscuit for coffee and a bite to eat. A bit disappointed to find many of our favorite places (from when we lived in TX) are no longer in business and the small towns we loved are not so small anymore but that's progress for you. lol. Still recommend a visit and stay at this home!

We had a wonderful stay here! The location right on the river was perfect—peaceful, relaxing, and just what we needed. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our trip. We loved spending time outside listening to the water and enjoying the views. The host was great to work with, and we would happily stay here again.

This rental was one of the most unique rustic decorated and cleanest places I’ve ever stayed at. Hot tub had the most amazing views and clean and comfortable.

The house was amazing and very well put together and the view from the back porch was very pretty with the river in the background. We loved how close it was to the town and all the wineries. Would highly recommend staying here.

What a Gem!

Riverside Retreat is in the PERFECT location for us...just minutes away from all of our favorite wineries. The scenery of the river from the screened-in porch is so peaceful and beautiful. The amenities of the house were great. We will definitely stay here again. We've found our new favorite spot!

It was nice and peaceful. Beautiful home. Only thing we had a small issue with is the bbq pits. They were both worn down and un-usable but we made due with the grating over the fire pit!

We absolutely loved staying here. The location is perfect, the area is super quiet and peaceful. The amenities of the home are awesome, and the king bed was the most comfortable we've ever slept in. LOOOOVVVEEED this place!!!

This cabin is the perfect location for relaxation next to the river! It was very cozy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had everything you would need even a beautiful fresh flower arrangement! The screened in porch, fire pit and hot tub were a bonus! Kayaks and fishing poles were also provided.
