Relaxing weekend getaway

Close enough to enjoy Fredericksburg but in the country enough to enjoy the birds and deer and beautiful outdoors.

Long weekend stay

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It was comfortable, not fancy. We liked seeing the birds and deer.

Excellent rental

We were very impressed. Our stay was great loved it had a back yard for my dog. The views of hills and getting to wake and see the deer. At night we watched lots of different birds and rabbits. I would highly recommend this rental. Host is great .

Tranquil

Cozy, clean, well-equipped. Very peaceful setting. Good for bird watching and birdsong. Saw several deer. They came right up to the yard one evening. Good place to get away from it all but close enough to Fredericksburg to be convenient.

Fantastic!

The space was clean, well stocked with supplies and amenities, and had a comfortable bed and furniture. It was just as advertised! It’s in a secluded location while still being only 10 minutes away from Fredricksburg. The view was beautiful, we had a great time relaxing by the fire pit and stargazing. Check in and check out was simple too.My partner and I had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. The owner was great with communication and was very welcoming. We would absolutely stay here again!

Anniversary Getaway

Great location close enough to town to get to stuff easily but far enough away to feel out in the hill country. The cabin back patio is awesome, peaceful, open views, lots of bird watching with the feeder out there. We saw a bobcat, several deer, heard what sounded like a wolf, saw some really cool stars in the big Texas sky and for sure saw some UFOs. There is plenty of kitchen stuff to make breakfast or dinner, you can choose to eat out in town or stay in and cook, it's ideal for just going with the flow. I used the pellet smoker, it was nice to have that option.Relaxing getaway, we really enjoyed it.

Countryside Getaway

Loved staying here. Had a bottle of wine on the table when we walked in. Beautiful view of birds, deer, cows, stars. Can’t wait to come back with my husband.

Restful get away!

We loved being in Fredricksburg but away from the hustle and bustle. The views were amazing from the porch on the back of the cabin. The deer and birds were fun to watch. We love to sit outside, so the fire pit was a bonus! Exceptionally clean and comfortable!

Amazing Getaway

My wife and I had an amazing experience for our little Christmas getaway. The house was perfectly clean and the back yard/patio was in great condition. We used the fire pit 2 of the 3 nights we stayed. We were very happy with our stay and will definitely be staying here next time we come to Fredericksburg!

Peaceful getaway

We enjoyed our second stay at this quaint cabin. Very peaceful and the cabin was clean and fully stocked. We loved the birds and deer that visit daily. We will be back!

Rocky Creek Cabin is awesome!

Very nice accommodations, clean and well supplied, only need to bring yourself! Nice views with lots of wildlife to see. We recommend it!

Exceeds expectations

We’ve stayed here several times. This cozy little cabin is perfect for my wife and I plus our little toy poodle. The cabin is extremely clean, comfortable and a short drive to Fredericksburg. If you like a quiet, away from town atmosphere and waking up to a beautiful sunrise, then this place is for you.
