Imagine sitting on your private lanai watching the sunrise, smelling the salt air, and listening to the waves hitting the beach just 75 FEET away. This is what a Hawaiian vacation is all about.
We have just installed brand new mini-split wall AC units throughout the condo! Enjoy the tropical breeze or cool down in comfort.
Why Choose "The Big Pono Aloha"? Most condos make someone sleep on an uncomfortable living room sofa bed. Not here.
We sleep 6 people in REAL beds.
Master Suite: King-size bed + private bathroom/vanity (Sleeps 2).
Guest Room: Queen bed + Twin Bunk Bed + private bathroom access (Sleeps 4).
Top Floor Privacy: You are on the second floor (accessible by elevator), meaning you get the best ocean views and no noisy neighbors walking above you.
The Space We are Joel and Tamara. We stayed in this exact condo years ago, fell in love with it, and bought it! Now, we invite you to make it your home away from home on the famous Coconut Coast in beautiful Kapaa.
The unit is spacious ("Big" is in the name for a reason!), featuring a full kitchen, dining room, and large living area. Don't waste money on tiny hotel rooms when you can spread out here.

Beautiful view from the balcony, especially the morning sunrise!Place was as described. Great location, half way between the north shore and the south shore.Functional beach area is small but very functional. Additional beach area very close to the north.

Everything about this place was awesome. The location was great since it was in between the north and south side so we could visit both without too much time in the car. The place was clean, had amazing ocean views and had everything we needed. Even beach chairs and boogie boards. The location was on a beach walking/running trail which was nice since I was training for a marathon. The hosts were top notch with communication on anything we needed. We would stay here anytime we visit Kauai.

A lovely condo located on the beach!! Very well equipped with beach toys and even golf clubs… and the pool and other amenities at the Pono Kai resort were outstanding too! Beds, bedding towels and kitchen supplies were excellent!We hope to stay again!

Great location and view
The place seemed more spacious than we expected, and the view was awesome. This is a great location and is walking distance to downtown Kapaa.

Enjoyed our week long stay at the Pono Kai resort. Only issue we had was with the keyless entry since directions on outside of the door wasn’t clear but email instructions from owner helped.

great place
We had an amazing time. The bedrooms were good with nice comfortable beds. It had everything you need to have a great stay. The view from the condo was great. We will stay here again.

Clean, comfortable, perfect location!
My family stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The property is walking distance from everything, with a beautiful bike path that follows the coastline, steps from the door! We highly recommend this property!!

Great location
The week at Pono Kai was awesome. The condo is spacious and has a lot of amenities. The location is perfect for teens who want to venture shopping on their own. Would love to stay there again!

Great Location
This condo is in beautiful Pona Kai Resort with full use of equipment and facilities. Watch the sunrise over the ocean from patio or bedroom. We enjoyed walking along the ocean walkway every morning. Centrally located in Old Town Kapaa

Awesome views and great location!!!
This condo is great and it's location is wonderful! My family and I had a wonderful time there, the grounds are beautiful and well kept. I would recommend this place to anyone. Words can't explain it you have to go see it for yourself!

Perfect in everyway!
We have been coming to Kauai for 30 years and this was our favorite place to stay. Feels like a home not a rental.

This place was amazing! It was in an amazing location on a resort with lots of things to do and access to so many things around us! The condo had everything we needed and more for our stay. Highly recommend this place.

View was amazing. Condo could use some TLC otherwise the condo was well stocked.
Close to shops in Kapaa. Overall loved our vacation.
