Hide away stay

The property was well manicured and the cabin very clean. The bed is comfortable and the towels were soft. Had a very pleasant stay and the owners were very responsive and considerate. I would definitely stay here again😊

Mad Peak Hideaway

The place was clean and perfect for the my husband and me to enjoy exploring the Black Hills! Dawn and Tim, the owners were amazingly helpful and so friendly. It was a special treat to see a deer eating clover right outside the door! We would definitely stay here again!

Highly Recommend!

My cousin and I really enjoyed our stay at the Hideout. It was charming, clean and at a beautiful location. The owner/manager was extremely helpful and gladly helped us out when we had any questions. If I ever get back to the Black Hills, this is where I'll lay my head. My neighbor is expecting to be there in the fall and has this on her preferred place to stay, dates allowing.

Great

Loved the authentic western decor. Just the right size accomodation for us and the right place to branch out and explore the area. This king size bed was by far the most comfortable we have had on our rentals. Loved the old door as the headboard. All in all would stay again if we are back in the Deadwood area.

This is a beautiful quiet property that’s well-maintained. Just right for staying if you want quiet during Sturgis! the only issue we had was the Wi-Fi kicking off and on all day long and all night and we kept having to log back in to get any type of service!! Well stocked inside and very clean! I had coffee, creamer, and sugar available for the whole 6 days I was there!!!

Love the property, third time staying for Sturgis and it always feels like home for us. Owners and family are awesome and love the privacy and coziness of the Hideout. We always cook breakfast and dinner there than relax outside after riding. Great Hosts, great communication and excellent property. See y’all next time!

We needed a place to stay for the night on a cross country road trip, but we wanted something that felt more like a home than a hotel. We definitely got that. The cottage was cozy and well appointed, with comfy beds, a great shower, and the bonus of coffee supplies to brew up a nice start to the morning. A sweet spot with trees and mountains and privacy.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Great water temperature and pressure. Easy parking. The place is perfectly decorated for the area and close to different restaurants and places. The king bed is absolutely the best bed we have ever slept in. If your looking good to stay in the area this is a must stay place.

Great location. Nice property very clean.

Very nice. Needed propane for gas grill and owner immediately took care of us. Nice quiet location. Centrally located for our daily travels.

Loved this cute little place! Bed and sheets were awesome! Close to trails! We enjoyed our stay here! Only thing that would’ve made it perfect was a hot tub to relax in after riding

Home away from home

Mad Peak is a nice and clean little one bedroom apartment with all of the comforts of home. We highly recommend this property. It is close to both Deadwood and Sturgis.

Love Mad Peak Resort

This is our second time at the Hideaway and would be back again! Its a cute and cozy place to stay and love having the owners dogs and cat come out and visit us while we were there.

Great location with all the extra touches

Great location with all the amenities. Our stay at The Hideout was fantastic, from the awesome decor, comfy bed, and trail access, to the communcation from the hosts. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again if we are in the area.

Quiet Getaway

Overall experience was great. We were looking for a quiet weekend getaway and this was the perfect place. Cabin was very nice and had everything we needed. Definitely plan on returning.

Beautiful views

Close to trail for ATV riding, great views. Really cool old stove (Decorative), lots of fun decorations. Full kitchen, comfortable bed. Definitely would stay here again!!
