This was the perfect quite get away location. The owner communicated extremely well and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed.The scenery, wildlife and coziness were exactly what we needed. Thanks again for a perfect place to stay.

Awesome cabin with a great atmosphere for relaxing! We saw deer, birds, squirrels, chipmunks, jack rabbits, and wild turkeys at the feeder. The wonderful smells of the forest topped it all off! We recommend staying here! Owners were excellent to work with and are very helpful!

We spent two days at the property. It was an amazing place to unwind, relax and get away from everything. It is located close to many activities but you are still able to feel isolated from the busyness of the area. I would highly recommend!

Sometimes when I stay home for a few days, I tend to forget how busy Deadwood can be. Although it is fun to go there, I really enjoy the peacefulness of Strawberry Hill. Thank you for your review :)

Very nice property! Comfortable, well-appointed, beautiful location! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - abundant wildlife, the pond, deck were wonderful. We highly recommend this cabin for anyone who enjoys a peaceful, serene, private location, but is also close to Deadwood, a convenience gas & grocery store and Black Hills attractions. We hope to be back!

Perfect for just the two of us! Quiet and serene, so many birds and wildlife. Just what we needed! We were nervous about no A/C but it did stay mostly comfortable with highs being in the 90’s, we thought it would be unbearable! It was not! Great place and highly recommend!

The weather has been so hot and dry recently with highs in the upper 90's. I find it surprising that the nighttime temps cool into the 70's. And with the cabin sitting it the trees it helps keep it relatively cool. We are glad the cabin was comfortable for both of you even without A/C.

Had a very peaceful and quiet stay at this remote cabin the cabin is well stocked and my wife loved the bathroom and I loved the deck where I watched a variety of birds coming to the feeders and turkeys in the morning thank you so much for a relaxing weekend

I agree with your wife the bathroom is awesome! I need to get the hanging plant back in its spot, but it grew so well that it is too big now. Bill did a very good job building this cabin. Glad you had a relaxing vacation.

Lynn and Bills cabin was amazing. Everything was comfortable and clean, attention to detail and communication was great. No issues at all while there, and convenient to all we wanted to see and do. Abundant wildlife also.
