For us this place is our get away from everything, rest, relax and enjoy the beautiful property. We love being by the water and even though we had some lousy weather we still enjoyed our time there.

The most well-appointed and equipped home we have ever stayed in. The waterfront vista is heavenly and the gardens charming. Would recommend this to the most discriminating vacationer.

This beautiful home was perfect for everyone in our family. The house and gardens are lovely, well cared for, and welcoming and inviting for all. The water views are amazing. We loved sitting on the deck and in the River Room the one day it rained, The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed With an entrance ramp, hallway railing, grasp bars for step-downs, and a walk-in shower the house works very well for people who have mobility issues, The dogs loved the fenced yard, beach area, and quiet roads for walks. We enjoyed the area, hiking in Elk River State Park and visiting North East and Elkton. Christy and Barbara were great to work with and were quick to respond. Directions to the house and access were clear and easy to follow.

We’ve been staying in the Chesapeake area for many trips. This was first time in North East MD. Beautiful wild life. Blade eagles, Osprey, foxes, deer, and Maryland Blue Crabs Great relaxing week

This is our second year at Nancy's. The home and property are perfect for our needs. The fenced yard for the dogs is ample and convenient since the back door opens right into the fenced area.The many seating areas outside assures that everyone will find a comfy spot to pass the days.Many people can be accommodated by three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Binoculars, a telescope, and kayaks are provided for adventures. And there's a huge bird of prey that likes to sit in the backyard tree early in the morning. If you're lucky, you'll see him/her catch a meal to take back to the nest a few properties away. We're spoiled. I don't even look for other properties to rent. We'll be back!

This is such a beautiful home and property. It was a perfect spot for family games surrounded by an incredible view. The home is so well stocked, and the hosts are wonderful to interact with. We can’t wait to return in the summer when we can access the water!

We had a wonderful time at the house! The gardens and property location were amazing and in such a quiet location. The only sounds we heard were the water and local birds. It was quite relaxing. The outside weather was hotter than expected, but we enjoyed the lovely views of the water from inside the house. I had great communication with the hosts. They were extremely polite and quick in responding. The house was stocked full of amenities and lovely personal touches. It was clean and we felt welcome. The fenced yard was great and convenient for the dog at night when we didn't want to do a full walk.

The property was nicely appointed with very comfortable rooms and a wonderful ambiance. The kitchen was well stocked, which made it a pleasure to cook. All around it was a very lovely respite from the daily responsibilities of “real life”.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. When we walked in, it just felt so comfortable. The gardens are beautiful and we were able to see Eagles most every day. Communication was excellent.

Amazing house

We stayed here as a staycation while we moved. It was a welcomed rest and relaxation spot. It has an amazing view, great space. I could definitely see ourselves staying there again… even though we are locals to the area.
