The Adams Chalet perfect for family or friends. Pet-friendly, Hot tub, WIFI, AC

Our Chalet style cabin is perfect for families or friends getting together to enjoy the benefits of the area. The cabin is located about 30 miles(about 45minutes) from White Pass Ski area, less than 30 minutes from the Stevens Canyon entrance of Mt. Rainier.

The cabin is one of 3 cabins laid out on a spacious six acre property. Not to worry though, each cabin has plenty of privacy and room to roam. Common areas include the paths to the river, the play structure, and the garden(see garden note for 2026 season).

Our beautiful cabin features a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1400 square foot style cabin completely furnished.

Quality beds and cozy furniture throughout the house are provided for your comfort. The master bedroom suite with its private bath has a french door that opens to a covered deck and your own private HOT TUB. The loft has 2 more bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other a set of twins. Also in the loft is a large sitting area which, provide your entertainment for TV, reading or just relaxing.
The bedrooms upstairs are private however the walls do not go completely to the ceiling because of them being vaulted.

The interior of the cabin is beautiful. The vaulted ceilings and wood beams create a large open feeling. The huge glass windows in the front enhance the bright open feeling as well as providing views of the mountains.

If you love to cook the kitchen is well equipped with cookware, appliances, and all the other essentials you’ll need. Whip up a great breakfast before you hit the slopes or hiking and a dinner to celebrate a day of great fun! A charcoal BBQ grill is available under a covered deck to enjoy cooking outdoors.

All of our cabins include their own private hot tub, fire pit, and parking.


Please Note: The bedrooms upstairs are private however the walls do not go completely to the ceiling because of them being vaulted.

The chalet felt like home away from home!We stayed here for the Dark Divide 100 race and it was a perfect landing spot inbetween the crewing schedule. It had everything we needed, was easily accessible, and the playground/chickens were a huge bonus for my 2.5 year old. Danielle and her husband were beyond accommodating and so generous with their time in answering my questions about the area. I really felt cared for by them, and not like I was “just another guest.” I have rarely experienced the same level of communication during other stays and to me, that makes all the difference.We would love to stay here again!

My husband and I wanted a quick escape to the mountains to relax and this property was absolutely perfect! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook ourselves a perfect anniversary dinner. The hosts have thought of just about everything to make sure you can sit back and relax. We definitely want to come back in late summer when we can get down and enjoy the river.

We have people in our family who snore so having the two upstairs rooms not being fully enclosed was noisy. We did have a couple instances where the water in the shower changed temp aggressively possibly from the other bathroom or kitchen, otherwise it was a great stay and even with that we would stay again.

Hello Jennifer, Thank you for mentioning the water we will look into it. Always know you can message us during your stay if there is ever an issue. Regarding the bedrooms upstairs we do include that in the room description so that guests know before they book that because of the vaulted ceilings the walls do not go all the way up. Warm, welcoming, rustic and cozy. The hosts were excellent, the cabin is clean, well kept and beautifully decorated. All kitchen amenties and stocked cabinets with everything needed to feel like home - you'll love staying here!

Great place to enjoy Mt Rainier from

House was comfortable for our stay and was a great starting point for seeing mt rainier. It’s more secluded than other areas to enjoy the park from.

Mt Rainier trip

Great home base for our family (of 6 adults) trip to Mt Rainier and the surrounding area. The cabin is as shown online and we enjoyed our time there. Both the Jacuzzi and BBQ were nice additions. We would definitely stay again.

The cabin was really comfortable. The gas stove stopped working after the first day. The front porchlight burned out. We couldn't find any place to hang our coats. The cookware could be updated.In spite of all that, we loved the location and we would certainly consider staying at the Adams Chalet again.

We had a great few days at The Adams Chalet while hiking Mt. Rainier. The house was perfect. We enjoyed the river access and chickens. We met the hosts and they were super nice.

We have resided in PNW for the past 20+ years. Originally, Rob is from Florida and Danielle is from Nebraska. Our kids were born and raised here in
Washington. We are a homeschooling family who loves road trips and pretty much anything outdoors. We love hosting our guests and meeting people from all over the country and world.

The views are amazing anytime of year here. We are surrounded by the Tatoosh Mountain range and guests can follow the paths to the Cowlitz River.

Our property is set on six serene acres. A short walk leads to seasonal river access(most of the year). We have a large garden with about 15 raised beds, fresh flowers that guests can pick for during their stay(see Note for 2026). Our property has chickens, 1 Rooster(Bigfoot) and two feral cats(Old man Grey and Skinny grey) which guests enjoy.
Community Play structure for kids to get their wiggles out.
Private Firepits and Hot tubs at each cabin and tipi.
