Beautiful space with everything you need and fun things too! Packwood is a fun small town so close to tons of hiking - the hot tub and fire pit are great end of day treats! Extremely comfortable and super clean

Wonderful Retreat at Mt Rainier

The Shawnee Chalet surpassed our expectations in every way! Laura is an amazing host, and the chalet is clean, cozy, and well equipped for the days or evenings when you're not out exploring the outdoors. Between the game room, the fire pit, the hot tub, the vinyl, the TV and the books, we were good to go on a rainy morning. Elk came by the street too! We'll be back to spend a much longer time next time.

Great location easily accessible to Mount Ranier. The house itself is lovely. The owners have done a great job supplying everything needed for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the game room and the hot tub.

Had a wonderful stay! Hosts had a fully stocked kitchen, thoughtful extras like coffee, and the reminder of the house was great too. We all enjoyed the amenities like the hot tub and arcade. Highly recommend this rental.

This was easily the best VRBO we’ve stayed at. They were super responsive during the booing and check in process. The house is very comfortable and extremely well stocked. We would definitely stay here again for our next ski trip to White Pass. Thanks for everything!!

Great house for families!

This was the perfect house to stay at while exploring Mount Rainier! With a hot tub, gas fire pit, and game room there was something for everyone to enjoy. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Packwood.

Family Ski Weekend

The house fit our family of six perfectly. It was spotless when we arrived and everything worked great, especially the hot tub. Our kids loved the game area too. The sheets were incredible and all the rooms were very comfortable. The hosts were very helpful, and check-in/check-out was seamless.

Beautiful property, close to Ranier National Park for hiking. Finish the day with a soak in the hot tub, and visiting around the fire pit. Had a wonderful time, just not a long enough stay

Ski get a way

The Shawnee Chalet was great for our family ski weekend. The kids enjoyed the games and the rooms were cozy, the check-in and out process was well communicated, easy and convenient.

Incredible CHALET

Great host communication and extremely clean chalet with over the top stocked kitchen. We were in Mt. Rainier for my daughters wedding and this Chalet was home base! Incredible! We will be back!

Awesome cozy rental located near the Steven’s Canyon entrance at Mt. Rainier national park. After long hikes we enjoyed relaxing in the nice hot tub and using gas fire pit on site! Our group of 5 fit comfortably here. Close to Packwood with a good brewery/ pub, market, and gas station. The Host Laura was very communicative and made the whole check in process simple.
