Beautiful custom built Elk Run Lodge is located in Skyline community near downtown Packwood. Easy and close access to Mt. Rainier National Park & White Pass Ski Resort with plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy: a Hot Tub with outdoor lighting or sitting by the outdoor firepit after hiking or a long day on the slopes. Sleeps 8. Clean, Spacious and Open floor plan. Kitchen, Dining Area, and Living Space; one huge gathering room. Perfect for your large family or 2 families to relax and socialize while resting after an adventurous day. Kids will love the Bunk beds and adjoining Jack n Jill bathroom as well as the game table, games and movies! Holiday Weekends require a 3 night minimum.

Worked out very well! We were surprised to have a view of Rainier - given smoke from fires nearby. Very close to the awesome National Park. Easy walk to the Cowlitz River. An EV fast charger was a short walk away!

The cabin is convenient to Mt Rainier entrances and to town. There were plenty of towels and whatever supplies we needed to be comfortable for 3 nights. ( Except basic silverware ... did someone steal the table knives??) Easy check in and out with the app. Kristy and Dan were responsive hosts.

Communication with Kristy and Dan was great! They immediately responded to our questions. The home was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. Lots of linens/towels, and the beds are super comfy. We did not use the outdoor spaces during our short visit, so I have no comment on the fire pit, hot tub, or grill. The town of Packwood is charming!

We stayed as a group of five in August for three nights. The place was perfect and centrally located for access to Mt. Rainier. All necessities were there and well stocked. There are a couple of restaurants in Packwood as well as a grocery store to get supplies and a gas station within minutes. The only hang up we had was getting access in the dark since the door lock is controlled by bluetooth. I had the required app downloaded and phone bluetooth was on but you have to go into settings for the app to allow the app to have bluetooth access. Once my teenage daughter figured that out we were all set. Bonus was seeing elk in the yard most mornings.

This was perfect for our families first vacation. It is close to town and just a short drive to the mountains to ski or snowboard. The house had everything we needed. I hope to come back and stay longer.

Great spot for a getaway

I wanted a little getaway in the woods with some close friends and this place worked out perfectly! Lovely space for cooking and socializing, very close to town and lots of hiking trails. Would definitely stay again!

We are a family with young active kids from Gig Harbor, who loves to come to Packwood. We love the outdoors. We enjoy the area where we can hike, ski, or just relax. Our cabin offers WiFi, an outdoor BBQ, firepit, hot tub, game tabel and open floor plan.

You will love the area and close proximity to hike at Mt. Rainier & other various locations, ski at White Pass Ski Resort, or just relax in the open floor plan of our cabin. We have a a 50 inch flat screen TV with DVD, WiFi, apple TV, activity table, wood burning stove, hot tub, and a firepit. We are walking distance to downtown Packwood!

The Elk Run Lodge is less than a 1/2 mile to downtown. Mt. Rainier is 7 miles to the Stevens Canyon entrance. White Pass Ski Resort is only 15 miles. Our cabin is spacious and clean, offers an open floor plan where all guests can visit, eat or watch TV together. There is a gaming table for the kids and family games as well as dvd's and an apple TV. We offer WiFi and have apple TV. We have a hot tub and an outdoor firepit with adirondack chairs.
