A cozy rustic getaway! We very much enjoyed the isolation. Great dvd collection! The bed was comfy, and the facilities were as advertised. Be sure to bring bottled water as they do not recommend drinking from the faucet.

I would honestly take my family there again . The only thing is the bedroom was not to pleasant it was hot up there .

Brenda, I really don’t know what the issue was with the AC unit. It is only a year old, and I haven’t had any other guests voice concerns. I am sorry for the inconvenience. Kay

Good location with close access to the Dry Frio river. House is nice for an older home, but literally no wifi access. Had to drive into Uvalde to get a signal. Nice, peaceful and quiet property with the beautiful trees and animals all around.

The property is a gem. If you want a real hill country experience with creature comforts like A/C and a hot bath or shower this is it!!!! If you require constant social media/digital communication and spa treatment keep looking. 10 out of 10

Very quiet and relaxing. It was nice not having cell service and being able to truly get away for the weekend. We were able to see lightning bugs at night down by the creek, I have not seen those in about 30 years, so we really enjoyed that.

We were looking for a quick getaway to rest and disconnect, and this place delivered. We will definitely stay again and recommend it to family and friends. A good place to recharge and reset.

Great location for family time

It was a bit dusty and there was a mouse around the kitchen area but the location is great the river is right behind it the little park is great too for the little ones

Perfect lil spot

The drive to the river/state park was just about 30 minutes, so there’s privacy coming back to the cabin. Also able to hike and bbq :) very nice place.
