Our encanto 30A stay

This house was great for my family. The kids really enjoyed the bike's. We all enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and pool. The beds were comfy and being able to put the kids upstairs was fantastic.

Well done

Was presented as the pictures showed. Very, very clean. Well stocked with anything we needed other than groceries. Would stay here again. Short walk to the pool and beach. as far as the water in the front when it rains, we were in sandals 90% of the time and if you just back the car up, you can walk around the puddle.

Great area and very family oriented

The home had ample space for our group with nice porches and balconies. All rooms had smart TVs which was great for streaming. The street and neighborhood were quiet and low traffic areas.

Great house, great stay!!

Great stay! 5 minute walk to beach. Pools were clean and refreshing. Loved the porches! Very spacious! It is true that when it rains you are waking through 5 inch water to get in your car. If I had to say one thing, it would be that I wish you could get more fobs even you had to put down a deposit to make it easier for everyone to go back and forth

Perfect layout and location.

We’ve stayed at multiple homes in summers edge. We loved this home’s layout. With each bdrm having king bed and private bath, perfect for adult children and spouses or multiple families with extra space for children. Home was very clean and functional, comfortable and inviting. And the screened side porch was my favorite thing about the home!! We enjoyed our stay so much and hope to visit again!

Great house - great location

Loved the location. Kids were able to ride their bikes up and down the street - only houses on this street turned onto it. Very easy walk to both the pool - and no steep steps to beach. Loved that each bedroom and bunk room had its own full bath! Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is bc when it rains, it puddles all in front of house. But not sure how owner could even fix that…. Regardless…I would choose this house again.

Great house, private street

Could use a little updating and tlc- furniture very worn. Outdoor chair worn. Outdoor shower didn’t work very well. On the flip side the location was perfect- and beds were comfy.

Great house in a perfect spot

Loved this place and would stay there again. Had some questions about the listing (bikes coming with the house or not) that were resolved through messaging. When we arrived the house had been partially cleaned. I received a text at about the same time asking about cleanliness, and when I shared that the cleaning was insufficient managment was very responsive. I was immediately offered a cleaning crew at my choice of time. They arrived on time and did a great job. There were a few little hiccups like I think I read the beach could be accessed with a fob or a code, but when I got there there was no code option. It would be nice if one message could have all of the access codes in it. Three of the 4 bikes had broken pedals or parts that were so loud that we couldn't use them. We were promised new bikes the same day but it took more than 24 hours for replacements which was a bummer. All in all it's a nicely appointed house and we would enjoy spending time there again.

Nice house for a family.

Nice house—bathrooms could use some updating. Short walk to the beach. This neighborhood has two pools for use. One is supposed to be heated starting November 1st, however, that was not the case for our arrival November 6. Vacasa was very responsive about solving the problem, however due to a part having to be ordered, it was not fixed until the last day and a half of our stay. With two very small children this is one of the main reasons we choose to stay here. I would advise inquiring before your trip if the pool heat is on and working. Vacasa doesn’t maintain the pool -the HOA does —so that causes some confusion.

Enjoyed this quiet beach house so much!

The location was off the busy streets. The house was furnished well. There were seven of us and we had plenty of room. A short walk through beautiful trees to the beach and the pool was nice.

Good location/nice home

We stayed in this home recently and were pleased with the accommodations. It is just a 5 minute or less walk to the private beach access in a quiet community. It has 3 full bedrooms with 4 1/2 baths and a bunk bed area. It has two beautiful porches. This is a great home for a larger family. We would stay again.

Christmas on the Beach was wonderful

The home was full of amenities that made our stay very comfortable...This was one of the most stress-free Holidays our family spent together. We especially enjoyed having coffee in the morning in the "crow's nest" on the top floor to plan our day and take in the view. The 4 bikes were great to have available to tour the area and enjoy the beautiful weather. Thanks for a wonderful home away from home!

Wonderful Beach Getaway

Plenty of room—3 bedrooms each w private bath + bunk beds. Porches at every level, with hanging bed, tables, etc. Clean and nicely decorated. Easy walking distance to pool and beach. 4 bikes provided. Big screen TV.

Wonderful location!

House was perfectly situated across the street from the pool, and about a 3 min easy walk to the beach. Lovely porches, comfy beds, and lots of great space for unpacking. The only issue we had was pests (german cockroaches) in the kitchen/living area while we were there. The company was very responsive and came to treat twice, however it did not remedy the issue. They were going to overhaul and thoroughly bomb it after we left, which hopefully took care of the issue, because it was otherwise a lovely rental.

Not clean and full of bugs.

The trip would have been great. The house and location are beautiful. However from the moment we stepped into the house it was apparent it was not cleaned from the prior tenants. The only thing that was done was that the sheets and towels were replaced. I did not mind cleaning it myself and I even rewashed the dishes. However, the worst part were the roaches, and I am not talking about palmetto bugs. Ive lived in the South a long time and expect some bugs. I contacted management upon our arrival about the problem and they could not send anyone until Monday. While they did spray it was not sufficient to get rid of the bugs during my stay. I also called a second time to give them the status in hopes that they sprayed again before the next tenants. The bugs were even in our food. We had to store everything in the refrigerator. Which by the way has a broken ice machine. I reported that and was told someone would come but no one did. At least they gave me a bag of ice. It is just a real shame that the place is not maintained.

Perfect for us

Great location, floor plan, plenty of bathrooms and porches, wonderful neighborhood pool. John from maintenance was prompt and awesome. Ice maker was not working but they provided us with plenty of bagged ice.

Great locale but needs a little work

Summers edge is a great location. The house is in a great spot. Pools are great. 4 bikes with rental was a great surprise. Decks on this rental are great. House was clean. Problems preventing a 5 star review-the refrigerator needs replaced. It struggles to cool stuff, even with temp turned down. For example it took two full days to freeze some liquid popsicles in the freezer. Plastic bin covers popped off a drawer constantly which was annoying. The ac had a note to keep at 72 or above or that it would freeze up. We would have preferred to keep it at 70. There is a low spot at the front entrance of house by stairs that was full of 2-3” of water the whole week that was slightly annoying to have to walk through. We had a few bugs crawling around the kitchen but I think they were large outdoor bugs common in Florida and not roaches I don’t believe. No salt or pepper or other standard kitchen stuff that is always nice to have. No driveway because it’s the end of the road so only two parking spots. The mattresses seem to be high quality but really too firm for my taste.
