We had a very hard time checking in, the codes were not working and the batteries were dead on the door. However, staff was incredible and very communicative and supportive and helped us work through the issue! Otherwise place was beautiful and perfect for our stay.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry the door codes and dead batteries made check-in difficult; we don't want your arrival experience to be that way. We appreciate your kind words about our staff’s support. We’re glad you enjoyed Gateway Lodge 5099 and that it was a beautiful fit for your stay. We'd love to host you again! ~ SummitCove Lodging

Nice property but not child friendly

The property is nice and has a great kitchen and comfortable beds. However, we felt harrassed by the property manager, Jeff. He came to our door at least two times, once to tell us the children were running and making too much noise and there was only one child there. The child was sitting at a table with us playing a game. The next night he came to warn us not to make noise. Both times, no mask. He was always at the pool when my party was there. Very uncomfortable to feel like your every move is being watched. Definitely not child friendly.

House was great

Owners had a huge fee that doubled the room price... we did not see that fee until the room was booked. Lesson learned. That was very unexpected especially as we had a budget we were trying to stay within! However, the place itself was great, very nice and well kept! F bathrooms with 4 bedrooms is amazing!
